I just love Bill’s made up Italian. Phonetically is spot on
palmomki I'm American and it sounded like random Spanish, Italian, and some other kind of sounds blended together but that's also part of what makes it funny.
palmomki I’m mexican, and it sounded like a buncha spanish phonics with a bit of italian spice
Italians do not pronounce "H"... but Hader did in this sketch.
If you learned Italian by watching the Jersey shore.
Armisen's is better. And the best one (phonetically) on those Vinny Vedecci sketches was Bobby Moynihan
For some reason, Will Forte is hilarious in this, the way he's casually eating spaghetti and just ignoring anything else going on around him
Bill said that this was Will's favorite sketch to be in cause he didn't need to go into make up or even look at the camera. just sit there and eat spaghetti
he also looks incredibly handsome in this skit damn
Will's kind of the funniest part.
I was hoping someone thought to say this because I was dying inside! That is some seriously funny shit.
Reminds me of Arsenio Hall in makeup disguise as the guy "barber" at the barber shop in Coming To America; who is always just sitting and eating in every scene. Even though that character had dialogue, all he did was eat.
I could just watch Bill Hader do accents and impressions all day. It’s just gold, no matter what skit.
Watch his Schwarzenegger from a Conan O'Brien interview. It's outstanding.
My uncle was on Italian TV quite a bit in the 1960s, and I can attest that this sketch is not only 100% accurate, it’s an understatement.
Your uncle seems to be a little bit mistaken about Italian TV...
@@guardiasvizzera1 / I saw the old videos, and the talk show hosts were just yelling nonsense at each other. It was hilariously cliche.
A copyright infringement, surely
The assistant eats pasta with a knife and a cigarette :D
Just lika Mama Domino!
Dont forget the wine
gregory That knife ✈️
The only addiction i want to choke on
He has a fork and knife he just won't put it down to eat
Bill Hader is such a goddamned gift to humanity
He reminds me Jim Carry
Senseyj honestly, I find Jim Carrey to be a poor man’s Bill Hader.
so good btw pls watch Barry
@@samsonian lol wow harsh words
100%
Shia did an excellent job playing the straight foil to Hader's antics.
That contrast was hilarious....in an indignant voice "penis" 🤣🤣
I love how proud of himself he is after showing his voice over clip
My god, to see what the cast was like back in 08 with Hader, Wiig, Sudeikis, Armisen, Sandberg, and Forte? That's insane!
People dont appreciate what they have until it's gone.
A veritable killers row
Yep my favourite era
And to think back then people thought the show sucked.
@@linnycrocus6023 it's just a cycle
I love how the cue card guy is holding up the exact words the guys said, yet is still acting shocked.
Yeah lol
Yeah. The whole sketch was hilarious from the opening cigarette butt full ashtray.
that was close, i almost forgot to watch this today. why is no one giving shia credit? he acting is actually amazing here. didn't show even a sign of breaking, didn't look over a cue cards, etc. total pro.
He almost did.
He's a solid performer.
@@steveconn And transformer. 😁
@@bruceinmyheart Niiiiice! :D
Good point...you filthy tyrant! LOL
Actually, my favorite thing is just how genuine Will Forte is playing the part of the production guy who's getting fed
They should have made more of these. I love Bill.
I read that in archers voice
Sneza Zivkovic omg archer profile pic love it!!!!!!
Yes!!
There are a lot more, they just never uploaded them
They did this sketch eight times...
How the hell do you fake language like that? This guy is a god
ForsakenMadMan its called double talking
@Dean Summers well he faked the italian parts as a language. The introduction was actual Italian. Then the other parts made up, Fred Armisen says some actual Italian sentences.
@Dean Summers Wow, you must be fun at parties
Listen to that language with subtitles in whatever language it is ez
@@Niphredyl no, he says some spanish nonsense words..no italian there..
I love that Shia seems like the most grounded person in this interview
I’m Italian and I’m unironically in love with this sketch (and with Bill)
Am I the only one who died at the smoking segment
Smoking illegal??????????????????????? lol
No, all the smokers did too
Brace110 having just returned from Italy where literally everyone smokes, i was dying too
Everybody who died at the smoking segment is now dead & thus cannot comment that you are not the only one who died at the smoking segment.
Brace110 that segment was funny as hell! Loved it too 😂
Haha Lorne Michaels cameo as the Godfather, how suiting.
I liked your comment so I can make it 100. But, that WAS an awesome touch using Lorne. lol
Why lol
2:39
Lorne is the GODFATHER of SNL
There is no better blessing than Lorne appearing in your sketch.
"You got arrested just for smoking....in your country I would die in jail....."🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
„You are a very kind woman.“😂😂😂
the indiana jones dubbing made me fall off my chair
I laughed so hard .. can you imagine a whole movie with Hader dubbing? Magic
D C he didn’t make fun of cancer
It's cool to watch this being italian cause u actually realize how you language is perceived abroad...super funny
I always wonder how english sounds to non english speakers. I have a freind from Rwanda who said before he learned english americans sounded like "rar rar rar"
Josh G there’s a video that’ll show you exactly how that sounds, just know it may make your head hurt trying to make sense of the almost real sounding words haha
ua-cam.com/video/Vt4Dfa4fOEY/v-deo.html
g0tst1ngs I turned on the captions, it helps....nothing
z06trk because they’re speaking gibberish.
He is abroad? So he is a transformer ey!
I love how when Vedeci and his assistant are arguing, the other guy just sits casually eating his spaghetti and not giving a damn.
At the end: Hader apologizes to the other “transformers” 🤣🤣🤣
I'm Italian and bill hader had me dying considering it is fun to see our culture from a different perspective
Just a note, SNL is New York-based so a lot of Italian stereotypes portrayed are based on the ancestral culture of the Eastern US diaspora - which skews rural Sicilian/Neapolitan. American comedians from the Western US tend to stereotype further up north, portraying Italians almost like a warmer version of the French
@@zandaroos553i know this is an old comment but i very much appreciated it because it is the best succinct explanation of a phenomena i have been conscious of but unable to put into words for my whole life as a bicoastal american (ive been going between new york city and oregon/california consistently throughout my life). like these are things i’ve kind of been aware of but never truly understood, so for real thank you
@@sarahbearbabygirlOh, my gawd! Kill me now, youse twos!!
I love how Will just sits there and eats spaghetti the whole time :)
Best job ever :D
Bill Hader is just a goddamn treasure; he's insanely hot and extremely hilarious
It was absolutely brilliant switching to a shot of the guy holding the ACTUAL cue cards
That was Wally! With a fake mustache!
@@jenniferpatterson4964 so excited to see Wally
Fred Armisen's italian is way better than his skill in twirling spaghetti. lol
Fred is one of my absolute FAVORITE people!
You have to forgive him, he’s using a knife and a cigarette.
quanti fagioli ci sono nel bicchiere!
Mi scuuuzi!
He always says biatch in his made up Italian
I blew a half hour of my life rewatching this sketch over and over. Totally worth it.
I'd like but it's at 69
Watch it again in 2023
Lord have mercy on my soul, Bill speaking in fake Italian with THAT vocal range... does things to me.
Never in my life would I have expected this - Bill Hader's Italian impression is killing me it's so funny!
Bill getting mad at the delayed snake thing is hot af
Huh?
How so
Okay
Yes he’s so annoyingly hot as Vinny 😂
Yes.
The whole sketch made me laugh really hard - two seconds of Andy Samberg as a snake guy made me CRY in laughter )))
That "hey" at 2:10 kills me. God, Hader is just the best.
Vinny Vedecci skits are some of my all time favorites! Thank god they are online now!
Having lived in Italy for 4 months last year, I can say these caricatures (the constant smoking, yelling, mumbling to oneself, and fast talking) are pretty accurate!
I don't know where could you have been... Brooklyn?
No , maybe the italian americans
Totally inaccurate. Having lived in Italy for 6yrs....I've never once encountered a cliche American-Italian like here or the one you'll find in NJ
@@winterramos4527 ben detto zio!
Oh come on 😂
Seeing shia 9 years before the full breakdown is a whiplash
I wouldn't call it a breakdown. He's much better off not being a fake celebrity
Watch him in the peanut butter falcon, he is great
Shia found his way out of the occult industry.
I hope he lives a long and joyous life, even if that means he has to fake it through the BS since he was indoctrinated as a child.
Stay frosty bro!
I'd say rebirth.
Things are bleak for this guy now
That cut to Wally and then Lorne smoking was hilarious 😂
I just scrolled for five minutes till I found a Wally reference
Any Wally cameo is automatically golden.
Hader is right up there with the SNL greats.
Fred Armisen too, Bill and Fred have an insanely good comedic chemistry
Bill knows funny, every sketch he makes is gold
Does anyone else find Bill insanely attractive?
Yup he's so cute :)) ❤
I do!!!!!
He's my Hollywood crush.
Yes, fuck.
Blade Runner I’m a straight dude who’s also attracted to Rihanna and I say ‘yes’!
"MI DISPIACE, SIETE TUTTE BELLE RAGAZZE, QUANTI FAGIOLI CI SONO NEL BICCHIERE???!!!" I'm italian, and I literally can't stop laughing
In un documentario sui retroscena di snl, durante le prove di uno di questi sketch, Armisen in mezzo a sproloqui random lancia una madonna tonante ahahah
What Armisen is actually saying is the funniest part! Thanks for the translation! 😄😄
che stupidata....no meaning.
“In the film “Disturbia”...” One of my all time favorite SNL moments
this is certified GOLD segment by Bill , amazing , cant get enough of watching it.
That ashtray though!
Well, I bet nobody noticed except you. 👍
That's a lot of smokes!
Right Holy smokes,
Honestly I didn't know that a stereotype about italian people was that they all smoke a lot! Maybe it was true in the past, but nowdays only a small percentage still smokes. :)
"Just for smoking?"
/that ashtray
🤣
The word "fazhina" (1:36) alone is worth the price of admission.
I want Will Forte's job.
Roman K or rather hook one up in you i guess
I'm Italian! I'm laughing a lot! The Tv host is dressed like my uncles in the 70's! I just want to explain that he is not speaking italian at all! Just funny meaningless sounds! Bye
+Koutetsu Jeeg Sono italiana anche io! :D E' fantastico! "Quanti fagioli ci sono nel bicchiere?"
+Maria Casamonti sono morta ahahahahahahah
+Koutetsu Jeeg Comunque molto meglio di Rai 2...
+Koutetsu Jeeg Sounds so real tho' :P
+Koutetsu Jeeg Quanti fagioli!
Bravo! Shia kept a straight face through the entire skit!😂😄
It's like saying "Bravo plumber, you did plumbing!"
This was one of the best Vinny’s interviews. Shia’s faces cracked me up! 😂
Bill Hader seems like an American version of Rowan Atkinson.
I thought the same! XD
Nah bill is far more talented
Far more talented? Please!
Django CS GO how can you even argue this point? Hader is such a good comedian and actor and has perfect timing and voices. Atkinson knows how to fall over and make illegible noises.
Scottish Gamer42
Come talk to me when Bill has created a character that's a franchise in itself and loved by adults and kids alike.
Hader is gold, I agree, but shitting on Rowan Atkinson is just silly and unnecessary.
I love just how confused shia looks at the end. He's just all like.. W.T.F?
Unpopular opinion, but these Italian tv show segments are some of my absolute favorite SNL skits
“So sorry to the other transformers” I DIED!!!!
Man shia is so spot on!! Awesome expressions!!!
That was hilarious!! This deserves waaaaay more views!
A comedic work of art!!! Love all of the little details--the ashtray overflowing!!!
i love when they put Lorne in the sketches
This is not comedy, it's a documentary!
5:01 Samberg's face is hilarious here, but the sign above the switch cracks me TF up for some reason 😂
This is art.
Seriousely, every single detail they thought about.
Perfect.
I would watch two hours of this
This is such an underrated sketch, one of the best of all time. Bill is the best.
I love how Will is sat there silently eating.
I am halfway through this video rn and haven't laughed this hard in months.
Forte just casually eating like it's break time...
omg the snake part was hilarious :)))))) shia looks so lost :)))))
So far this is the best funniest episode of Vinny Vedecce
This is my favourite time of SNL. Everything in here is perfect
Man, Fred Armisen and Bill Hader are sooo funny! and Shia laBeouf is so handsome and such an underated actor, I hope he gets to star as he deserves.
it's impossible to overstate how brilliant this skit is.
It took me a while to realize it but Bill Hader is one of the all time great SNL Goats.
At least #3. Tied for #2 maybe.
This skit is a masterpiece 👏. I have to admit though that I was waiting for his son to come out like in the other skits.
I always liked Shia. He is a very natural actor.
She*
He’s become a method actor. It can get annoying for other actors.
Therefore no job offers for some.
He’s also a huge tool.
He’s a great guest host. But until he gets back in the big movies, they probably won’t have him back.
@@miguelBT2809 He has an Irish bar average guy's personality. This is why he can't get along with other Irish assholes like Alek Boldwin. So he made himselves enemies really quickly
Kristen Wiig at the end of the scene killed me.
Mindaugas Dargis
RIP
@@bobbybobbinson Now you have to reply in 4 more years... i'm gonna be waiting....
Bill had cigarettes in both hands. Hahahahahaha
having will forte in these is such a brilliant touch. he is such a bombastic actor and here he is just calmly eating spaghetti. he is as important to the show at the completely overflowing ashtray that's on fire. genius.
Hahaha this is the best one of all the Vinny Talks.
Love how they go out in the "italianized" Indy theme :D
4:49 between the words "film" and "Disturbia", you can hear the click of the mechanism (solenoid?) that drops the snakes.
This impression is fantastic and so funny. I am Italian and it is hilarious!!! Love it
It's the guy quietly eating pasta in the back that gets me :D
+Ella Chinaza Will Forte is awesome.
Will Forte can have ZERO lines and still be hilarious. lol
its fuckin lunchtime
i'm hungry for pasta now.
Hell yeah. Spaghetti Marinara with homemade meatballs...
Haamish Mcgarry But Mrs Mcgarry said she liked it???
Haamish Mcgarry
You already lost.
+brottarnacke im not sure that's how it works
varškėsapkepas did both of you change your name or something
A few things make me laugh all alone like a fool these days watching videos. This sketch and some others from Vinny are so good that I can't help it.
Hader is such an incredible talent. I love his low, buttery voice here.
I love it when Lorne Michaels appears.
Shia is so cute, i met him once in london but i only realized it was him when i read the papers the day after LOL. he's very sweet
Bitch quit lying
The ability of Will Forte to eat spaghetti without breaking character is rematkble.
Absolument excellents ces sketchs ! Quel talent!
Bill looks very Italian in this skit
This is my new favorite SNL skit. I teared laughing haha
Hysterical! My grandparents came here from Sicily. I always picture them talking like this when they lived in italy. It's so funny!
the cutaway to Andy with the snake lever just staring gets me everytime
i just love how will forte just keep eating in these sketches
Vinny is one of the top 5 SNL characters of all time. Bill's Herb Welch character is another top 5 as well. Pretty much everything Bill Hader touches is freakin' gold (except maybe Stephon, that's the one character I thought got boring real fast). His Vincent Price, James Carville and Keith Morrison parodies were falling down funny. When he wrote and did sketches with Fred Armisen and Cecily Strong, wow!
I actually liked Stephan…
I love everything about this skit, period!
Bill and Fred shouting at eachother in fake Italian is my favorite thing in the world ( 1:55 )
Kristen does the best italian impression in this scene
