I recall from somewhere, and I can't for the life of me remember, a comparison between the Gestapo and the Stasi. Unless you were an undesirable or known to be actively a problem to Nazi rule, the Gestapo didn't care, and would often turn away people who came to blab on one another for the little things that would go on your Stasi file twenty years later in the East, like telling a joke deprecating the state or something. Again, since I can't remember where this is from, take with with a good pinch of salt. Excellent video by the way mate, keep it up.
