@@EJSS96 Lee Sin deck typically can't develop early game because the deck is mainly coming from spells. If they run the Zed/Lee Sin, which is a bit more aggro, then you have avalanche as the answer. And you can also use the ramp stone to start blocking if you really have to. You probably have to trade your health a bit in the early game as this is the down side of a ramp deck, but you can easily gain it back with starshaping and the 7-cost reveal card. Once you reach 8 mana you should start gaining control back with Trundle and Mindsplitter.
To me what's really frustrating about this deck isn't how buffed Lee Sing is now, it's how ridiculous Targon can be as a region. I agree that Lee was overbuffed. I really like that he is cheaper now. Being at 4 mana means that you see him level 1 much more often. Before it didn't really justify playing him before leveling him. I think he could use a bit of a redesign. The barrier means he is too safe. It's also awkward that he can gain challenger on non attacking turns and his sonic wave gives challenge (which he already gains). Maybe giving him challenger and quick attack on attacking turns and lifesteal and tough on defending turns
Though how would you word that, and how would it work with rally. You dont want the card to be only text. It sounds cool, and i like it but it doesnt sound elegant and beginner unfriendly.
There are ways and decks to win against lee shin decks. From your angle, I get that a levelled up Zenith Bladed Lee Shin is almost unstoppable but just like you said his Level 1 card is still weak and people avoid playing him unless they have spells or an overwhelm mechanisms on board. For me, he is really good place in the current patch. If you really want to see a Lee Shin nerf, you can expect a "I have seen you play 8+ spells this game" text rework, just like TF. Same cost, useless level 1 stats and level up requirements resets upon death.

Mogwai would you ever consider revisiting your TF Lee Sin spell combo deck "Outplayed" now that Lee's been buffed? I've basically been on a solo mission to keep that deck alive through every patch because its playstyle is so fun, and I'd love to see how your modern take on it compares to mine.
Would you try something wacky like Heimer/ASol? I'm trying to make that concept work because the idea of mad creation seems so appealing to me, but I fail constantly.
Biggest problem I can see with this combination is a weak early game with not very good ways to stall the game til later. With no ramp you may want to try to use as many targon healing effects.
maybe do a heimer vi purrfection deck if you want something spicy. Vi kinda helps you to stabilize mid game and invoke with heimer turrets allows an easy purrfection

"a bit too strong", dude, he have to do a single thing with it and he win, it have very little counter interaction, making fight it really bad. Lee sin was a really interesting champ, but the buff was just too much for a late game ender as Lee sin's dragon kick
This current iteration of him, especially with the buff basically makes him another Fiora in a way; get 10 power on him and overwhelm when attacking and you win the game, which honestly makes it really stressful to play against. Same weaknesses she has as well with frostbite hard counter them but has the advantage of more safety with spellshields and deny keeping Lee Sin on the board. Just remove the Overwhelm interaction in some way. Make Lee Sin deal his attack damage, destroy a unit *and remove himself from combat* Still a very strong champion, good for tempo, his abilities protect him just as well as usual, no more OTK.
What about 1 mana gift giver instead of spacey sketcher? It helps with lee sin and you dont have to resort to throwing away a card in a good hand. Ive tried them both but it seems like preference.

I think they should just remove the interaction of lee sin with overwhelm. The buff they suggested really helps the card's tempo but the overwhelm otk combo is just stupid now because it is too easy to get access to. I like the game having very specific win conditions, but just compare this combo to ezreal's to see how much overpowered this is.
I think he could also do without the barrier. Thematically, Lee is casting Q to jump to his target (challenger) and then using W for shield and lifesteal (barrier). Barrier with deny/bastion makes him practically untouchable though. Maybe give him tough and/or temporary +2 health instead
it's really not that difficult to outpressure the lee deck and have enough answers to stop him when he comes down. Like, it's a good deck, but it's not nearly as unstoppable as people make it out to be. There's plenty of opportunities to stop lee before your opponent assembles the whole combo.

The Lee/Draven deck you made is a bit inconsistent. Ran into a lot of games where I get a full hand of spells, however, when you get the mulligan/draw you need, the opponent has a very bad day.
So if you are considerig otk decks what do you think about ledros with revitalizing roar and atrocity? Exactly 13mana and 19nexus dmg without even attacking...
They should make Dragon’s rage no longer deal damage to the nexus but reduce the cost of the card. So basically Lee sin’s level up should no longer deal double damage with overwhelm but instead just recall/destroy the unit as well as make the actual Dragons rage card more viable.
this will completely kill the champion, he finaly going to see some play but its not a reason for doing that, jesus christ. I think he will go for 5 mana
Or keep the double trike but instead make the nexus damage equal to the target's power/base endurance. That way a 10 power Lee Seen won't be doing 20 damage unless the opponent also has a 10 power creature. It would still be a powerful spell but hardly an OTK enabler
Like the Gem/Invoke package is making lee so much powerful, as he becomes to powerful, but if you run him with noxus there is way less things he can do in there compared to Targon.
@@mikazakhaev5011 The Targon version can draw the lee sin too well sometimes tho, Tbh whats the point of playing the noxus lee sin deck if not feeling the satisfaction opf one shotting the enemy nexus with his kick? Some mad man exists out there who plays Draven OTK decks probably
Dont think it will change anything. I think that the main problem is that his challenger and barrier is enabled too easily easily with targon, and ofc how easy it is to put overwhelm on him. I think they might have to change how overwhelm interacts with lee sin, and maybe change his barrier to something like a temporary health boost e.g +2 health (sorry for long reply lol)
@@brosnan2406 At 6 Mana, Lee sin was barely playable, at 4 Mana, he is too strong, but you still lose some games because sometimes you get clunky hands with only one win condition. (Only 3 Champs).
Lee sin com 4 de mana??????????
Holy shit when he said “how do i reach these keeeds”
waited for this ❤❤❤
They should make Dragon’s rage no longer deal damage to the nexus but reduce the cost of the card.
What about Lee's kick dose half of his power so 2 damage to face from an unbuffed Lee and perhaps make his kick no longer recall.
im happy about otk decks bcs of aurelion soul ramp
So, meta monday and methursday? Anyway, try a lucian Darius rally overwhelm!
not even a credit to alanq?
amazing review :)
R u brasilian?
It feels like he should lose Barrier when he levels up. There are so many champions that lose abilities when they level up.
like?
@@tanmapoy6687 Katarina and Karma to name a few.
Elise also can't generate more spiders when she levels, TF cant cast a card when you summon him leveled
@@tanmapoy6687 Elise doesn't generate spiders when she lvls up
Couldn't they just change Dragon's rage to deal damage equal to the enemy's health instead making it harder to achieve the otk?
Like the Gem/Invoke package is making lee so much powerful, as he becomes to powerful, but if you run him with noxus there is way less things he can do in there compared to Targon.
On the other hand, Noxus version can win without drawing Lee Sin.
@@mikazakhaev5011 The Targon version can draw the lee sin too well sometimes tho,
Tbh whats the point of playing the noxus lee sin deck if not feeling the satisfaction opf one shotting the enemy nexus with his kick?
Some mad man exists out there who plays Draven OTK decks probably
@@veilsteel6118 Yeah, the card draws and sustain in this deck is disgusting. It's like old Karma Ezreal all over again.
25:51 just saying the opponent could've won at least one more turn if we used the 3/2 lifesteal
So true, he didn't expect this was a otk deck
In my Opinion, Lee sin should be a 5 Mana card. Then he would be balanced imo
If mentor of the stone also gets nerved a little bit (perhaps only gives 2 gems) alongside with hush (perhaps don't create the fleeting spell), then leveling up Lee sin would take longer and would therefore be difficult to play. Don't forget that 1 Mana is a huge difference (remember Karma Nerf, or Anivia Buff)
