@@davidsea1482 Great! That is why we call these elements a Fire Control Triangle - stance, grip, and trigger control. Many shooters think it's just basic skills but we consider them to be the core. Mastery is how well you perfect these core skills!
That’s a CZ P09, polymer frame DA-SA duty gun. I personally love it, that’s one of my carry guns, excellent service pistol. We are open to travel anywhere, if there are shooters interested in our training. We are happy to share!
I do not agree with the comment that it does not matter where to place the finger on the trigger. In my opinion, it depends on the distance you are shooting from. Shooting at 5 yards, you will not see much difference. Even at 10 yards I consistently hit the bull's eye without much focus on trigger control. However, when I shoot my pistol from 15 - 25 yds, any misplacement of the finger throws the shot in a different direction. It gets more significant as the distance increases. The best results, at least for me, occur when I place the pad of the finger, close to the knuckle, on the trigger. Again, just my humble opinion.
It's very individual for every shooter. The precise placement of the finger on the trigger definitely will bring consistent performance. What we are saying is it doesn't matter placement so much than to be able to pull the trigger when - 1. the motion of the trigger finger is isolated from the rest of the fingers. 2. - to finish the actual trigger pull straight back. Triger finger placement can enhance those two principles one way or another.
Much appreciated!!
This dude is the real deal
Thats a great brief for just under 7 minutes.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Will try and apply those principles on my next range visit.

Let us know how you do! 👍🏻
Love it, definitely something I need to work on . Thank you.
You got this!
Great lesson on the isolation of the trigger finger, very important.
I can still hear "prep-press, like a butterfly."

Damn 😮 whoa
Sink more finger. Stronger leverage, less sideways pull, especially for weaker hands.
Well, depends on the trigger weight and the personal biomechanics. It is important to pull the trigger straight back.
