I'm looking at getting a Metris (Vito), it looks evident in the videos that you are cautious in picking your lines on the road, did you ever wish you had 4wd? Or may be a lift? I'm interested to know your opinion as I see in the other videos you have driven extensively to different countries on various road conditions.
Metris owner here. I'm curious to whether he has AWD. We only get RWD in NA (so far). The van in the video appears to have been de-badged or ordered without badges ...

They absolutely exist with Right Hand Drive for the UK and other RHD countries. Plus the US postal service ordered 17000 of them for mail delivery vehicles in North America, where they use RHD vehicles to pull to people's mailboxes.
Perhaps have a look at the products of terranger from Germany. They do lift kits and nice underbody & sill protection.
They are expensive though.

PS: Looking through the comments, there is a reply to a question from a year ago, where attiva states 2WD.
@@icerabbit8605 they do come in 4wd (Vito). Not sure about the US market tho. But I’ve driven one in Europe. Hope that helps

BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 very soft, very durable!
