  • This video was filmed prior to Lucky checking into the detox program. And in this video, we get the opportunity to introduce Lucky's homeless friend "Kurt." Kurt is just as interesting and articulate as Lucky is and it is very unfortunate the lifestyle that he is living. But it seems a lifestyle that he is very comfortable with. Hope you enjoy this video. And for more information, check out the links below.

    Good morning. Figured I would share this video with the members of APS first. Might be the video I share publicly today. I want to thank everyone who is a channel member of APS as your support truly means a lot and will help us even more. There is so much more to come. So much, already filmed. So much bonus content including audio that didn't make the lucky detox video of the ride to the detox center which I haven't gotten to look at yet. There is also other content already filmed including an old school style APS prison cooking video that is pretty awesome. Thank you all again for your support. And I hope you enjoy meeting Luckys friend Kurt.

      Thank you for your service! Every male in my family was in the service. All recovered but one. He died years later after nomad living and drugs after coming from home from the Vietnam war. I remember seeing him walk down the road. He had times in homes with women and times where I imagine he lived like these guys. He was a very good looking man and women loved him..blonde hair, blue eyes, tan. I remember he hitchhiked so I guess that is a good indicator that he was probably living like these guys. Anyhoo I just wanted to tell you thank you for your service and I agree with everything you said.

    • @Dana_Rose_
      @Dana_Rose_ 25 днів тому +2

      This is a 1000% true. Those that society looks down upon are so valuable to us, but we (as a society) don't see it! I work a lot with housing and the homeless population. They will risk everything to help a person out. In Houston there are "rules" for housing that say that NO ONE is allowed in the occupant's home, but they will let others in to shower, eat, sleep, even if it means they could get kicked out of their place. It's so incredible to see some of these folks give a helping hand when they have nothing for themselves.

    Joe, I been rockin the show with you for many years now. I have been on your team through does stuff and still here. I love to see you back at this. Screw the drama and haters. They will always be there but facts are facts. you have provided a platform for many people and support that they never had. You should for sure make a living and anyone who has an issue with that just doesn't understand life. You're why there are thousands of after prison social medias. Joe, you're agenda is help, that is ok and not to be ashamed of. you're a positive member of society who still has real life issues as well. Anyone out here hating or crying because you will make a living while helping people is ignorant and part of the problem, you are part of the solution! Who cares what the haters think while they watch your video's thats all that matters! Give them something to click and hate. Ride it to the bank and still enjoy helping people along the way... Solid Example of a solid dude.

    That's good about the extra acrylic paints 🎨 They go fast depending on the size of the canvas. Kurt has a point, "the response out of life" is a huge factor of mental health. It doesn't only matter how you live it's if you can deal/cope with life. Real life can hit hard and not everyone can make it. Kurt, if you read this, I hope that you know that many of us agree with you and how you think. I think you may have a lot of unresolved pain that is tamed and kept at bay with drugs. Although you may be okay with drug use, it is ultimately an addiction that if you quit, your body would respond abnormally (withdrawals). If you gave yourself the chance to detox, I think you'd reach so many heights and feel more at ease and at peace. I hope that you will give yourself that chance because you seem like a genuinely AMAZING dude. You know how I know? It shows in your persona AND Lucky wouldn't talk to you if you weren't a straight up guy. Blessing to you, please give e yourself a chance 🙏 💛

    I had a high school history teacher who had a big project. He gave all of us one of those old one time use photograph camera. Our assignment was to go out in the community and talk to someone on the street and listen to their story. We took a picture of the person and used that as part of our poster. There were a lot of homeless people in my area who were willing to help us. That project meant more and more impact than anything else I’ve done like building a bridge.

    Glad to be back in the army. Went on an aps bender last night. Even watched some M.A.D. Gelico for some laughs. Would love to see everything come full circle and see APS back on top again. Thanks Joe

    They weren't wrong that criminalizing addiction is a big reason people are homeless and can't get work and end up back in the system. You can argue and say that's BS, but it is literally proven in other countries that decriminalized all drug use.
