A good villain was streetflyer. The reveal where he actually caused the meltdown that killed solder boy was amazing.

It's been hard to forgive the Deep after all the things he did to Starlight, but since Starlight forgave him I'm definitely willing to give this show a watch. Hopefully it helps put things into context and explain how the Deep redeemed himself to join the Seven.

I just saw this movie. When Deep said, "It's Deepin' time!" I cried from the sheer emotion.
You can tell Billy zane has alot of fun with this. This show is as enjoyable for the cast as it is for the viewers.

I might get thrown stones at, but I think the Deep deserves a second chance. He is so sincere, honest and truthful about himself. Cassandra gave him what he needed and not what he wanted. This is the perfect match. Deep is an oyster and Cassandra his pearl.

This really explains his side of the story and give him chance at redemption. Everyone deserves a 2nd chance. Can't wait to see this one. The book was so moving and this just gives it more context. Glad the deep got of that prison masquerading as a haven. So proud of the deep and how far he's come.

The guy could really use an acting coach. Maybe take some classes from homelander. I just rewatched the Dawn of the Seven for like the sixth time. Homelander kills it. Both him and the deep are playing themselves but maybe deep is just to self conscious infront of cameras after the starlight thing.
I don't remember him being nearly this bad an actor in the old Phase 1 VCU movies.

This story is the comeback story of the year. I, as were many, was initially disgusted by The Deep and his actions.
After reading the novel, I realize how wrong and ignorant I was being. I realized that I was being a toxic personality.
To any parents who shame and judge The Deep for his actions, maybe you should encourage your children to use The Deep's story. To inspire. To learn from. No matter how far in the deep end you may be, everyone is worthy of a second chance. #Inspirational

This Deep movie had been such a phenomenal experience, my goldfish and I cried at the ending. What a masterpiece!!
So excited for this. I already finished his book and it was a masterpiece that showed so much insight about the amazing hero and person The Deep actually is. So brave of him to share his personal journey of personal growth and accomplishments. I'm proud of how far he's come and that Starlight forgave him. Glad they work as a team again.

my cousin worked on the set, he was on the snaks... he told me that The Deep really commited for the role...
Every morning The Deep's trailer moved back and forward for 25 minutes, then he camed out with his personal trainer... i didn't even know a Superhero needed to fit their body, but they do!!! they do a lot!!!! in fact my cousin told me he changed 6 personal trainers (including a transgender personal trainer prooving he is on equalty) during the 3 week period recording time!!!
Now, thanks to The Deep, i know that in order to become a hero myself, i need to form a healthy family and keep focused everytime!!!

His fight scene with the stalks of the church were insanely good.
Him throwing the last punch making all the sweats fall off the final boss is probably foreshadowing that his abilities will awaken someday like bending water just like a devil fruit.
Wow, Zane is gearing up to be a fantastic antagonist for The Deep. I'm still a little iffy on the deep himself after all the controversies, but if Starlight is willing to give him another chance, I guess I will too.
Love the commitment to the iconicity of the Supes by having them stay in costume, appearance after appearance, movie after movie!
I like how when you watch this trailer, you think it’s giving away the whole plot, but really every single frame of the film is developing the storyline at all times. Really a mark of one of the films of all time. I dolphed hard!

2 Years ago, i went to this movie in the theaters. I was with my lover back then. Sadly she was run through by a random natural event. Since then, life is not the same and i appreciate this movie even more. I really hope for Deep to be here to teach true love againts those dirty starlighters.

I love how this movie has so many elaborate metaphors. For example, the scene where Alastair Adana attacks the Deep using a pair of high-tech gauntlets that grant him (Adana) super-strength, a great metaphor for how Adana rules the Church of the Collective with an iron fist.

a lil bit late but damn Vought+ has brought us so many contenders to balance the MCU, and to be honest MCU has been in decline while VCU is just getting better with each stories. Deep is a phenomenal actor and also a real life hero. truly remarkable
The best part is how the actor's really do the "bad at acting" stick during this.
Imagine trying to act like your character, who is trying to act, but is bad at it.

This show is nothing short of a masterpiece, yes the budget isn’t as impressive as Dawn of the Seven, but the writing is masterful and what a beautiful performance from both Billy Zane and the Deep.
The Deep’s breakdown scene in his wife’s arms really brought me to tears, you can see he has been through a lot and pours his heart out on screen, truly masterful, if you haven’t watched it, please do, vought+ is worth every penny just for this show.
Can’t wait to see him in next VCU big budget movie, really missed him in dawn of the seven…

We all make mistakes, he might be a superhero but he's also just a man who fell for the wrong pseudo-religious cult.
This truly touched me, after hearing about the horrific and gross misconduct by the Deep, it is amazing to see how the Church is able to provide a way for all members. Although he is a supe, he is truly still a man with natural urges. I can't wait to see his redemption and to see how much the Church can change someone's life for the better.

Let's just say that he 's passionate about them, yes, and he wouldn't allow one of them to be hurt....willingly, but often by mistake, miscalculation, lack of character, etc they do, and in terrible, fucked-up ways on top of that.

Just got out of prison and this was the first movie I saw. The deep and enriching plot line combined with the amazing take on the Faustian deal Deep signs with Zane truly changed my life for the better. Never before have I been so appreciative of the life I've been given and related so much to the Deep. We've both made mistakes, but now it's time to move on

Honestly, Deeper was one of the most compelling books I've read this year. I couldn't put it down. I'm hoping this does the book, and The Deep some real justice. Love you Deep! Just keep Swimming!!!!!
