im more excited for dragon rulers i dont think they will be crazy or anything but its been 10 years since they existed in any format, and the card pool is massive now with untold synergy
I'm excited to make a pure dragon Ruler deck and meme around with it. Once this comes out I'm going to feel like Thanos with the infinity gauntlet!! Another piece of the puzzle that is DRAGON RULERS!!
Well, now unchained is in the game and haven't seen anyone trying it, I guess people need the space for handtraps or at least the Vice Requiem engine, but there's still chance for some1 to try
Been playing around with Tear Zoo on db via test hands and its tricky to find the best balance for the zoos. In my lists, which run 3 imperm, 3 maxx c, 3 ash, 3 gameciel, 2 fenrir, and a wraithsoth. Its tough to find space for the zoodiacs. I think its mainly competing with Tearlament's Grief for the category of extenders in-case your normal summon (sea mare or reinoheart) get interrupted (You can use the barrage to go into dugares with your normal summon, allowing you to pitch names you can fuse with or dig for extenders). It does feel really nice when it goes off though. The extra body (possibly 2 with chakanine) makes it very easy to get to cross-sheep and the route to drident makes it simple to trigger kaleidoheart. It also makes scenarios where you're able to get the cross-sheep without using fenrir or tear kash more common, which can lead to baronne plays where you revive a milled ash off the cross-sheep, which is cool.
Not playing at least 1 pot of avarice in pure zoo is wrong, it is absolutely NEEDED. Also, 3 ram instead of a bunnyblast, because bunnyblast almost never comes up. I think since day 1 of master duel, I only triggered bunny blasts effect one time. I just replaced it with rat and i definitely do not miss it. And shifter probably isn't the best option because part of what makes the deck good is the ability to recycle resources and force grinds. You should also probably play a Zoodiac combo, most underrated card but has helped me win many games.
I would run a combo before avarice since with ratpier legal, it's searchable now and with the bunnyblast play to add back Raptier turn, you'll always have access to a recycle as early as turn 3 (if you need it which I'm not sure is as necessary with 3 drident). Shifter is also great, I'm more than willing to forgo a Ratpier play for skipping the turn of Dragon/Mathmech/Branded/etc

It turns off everything except Zeus and even more, which is easier to out than drident + draco or megaclops + draco, especially since the deck performs better going second. Drop shifter, they skip their turn, the only thing you can do is Zeus or just a drident and then they out it and your back to square 1 but with less resources than before. This is something I've tested multiple times, and I've been playing zoodiac since day 1 master duel. Avarice > combo because it can recycle Zeus and draw 2. I play 1 of each, but before this banlist 3 avarice was mandatory. Also, like I said before, bunnyblast never comes up.
@@fluffyjofficial I dont think board breakers are correct in zoo. This is not a deck that can otk or even put up a good board (the best is a single Zeus). It doesn't matter if you break board if you can't effectively end the game since your opponent will just re establish their board of just kill you with followup while you have a bunch of board breakers that don't do anything on their turn
@@TheShapestofSnatches I understand what you are saying completely, but the fact is that zoo is about simplifying the game state and forcing the grind. Cards like pank and kaijus preform extremely well in those type of scenarios, and help create them faster. Too many decks can play through a multitude of hand traps

I've just built this and tried it for a few games, and I honestly cannot understand what is good about this deck. I guess I understand the Zeus turbo if you are going second but having 10 cards in my extra deck and like 12 in my main deck to end my turn on a single quick effect pop that doesn't even negate seems very very very bad.
@@TheShapestofSnatches Kind of sad, I was expecting to run Kash+Zoo when the banlist hits, but it does seem underwhelming even running it at very low ranks. I guess it'd work as a blind second deck but I'm probably better off just playing Branded
The video is very, very good! If a little bit of criticism is allowed: Try to work a little on your slight stutter/pausing; if you talk more fluently, the video experience will be elevated by a lot! Something you could do (not professional advice, but might help anyway), you could just force yourself to keep talking if you notice a pause/stutter is coming. Of course this is just for practice sake and might also give you a lot more outtakes when trying it while recording a video, but it might also help in the long run. Up to you though, if you want to try that. It's a good vid nonetheless! (Just to clarify: You don't have to nonstop talk in your actual videos; the amount you talk is good, the sentences sometimes just need a little less pauses at the wrong places) I'm assuming this isn't a medical condition, if it is, then my bad!

Branded being the best deck in the game is a massive issue for Zoo considering that's like an 80/20 matchup for Branded lol.
