Another version for the fourth place is the cat instead of the rabbit. In this version, the cat, being trick by rat then came to the race explaning what's happen. But since the position has been determined, no animal would willing to give up their position, espectially the rat since he's the first. While in that mess, the moon goddess took the rabbit as a servant and as a result, cat was filled in. That's also explain the origin of rabbit being on the moon.

So basically, Vanguard Zero is operating on a dated anime and an old game format that has been updated fairly recently And I was born in the year of the Tiger

He would be LIGHT attributed, and either a level 12 effect monster, and has “?” ATK and “?” DEF. His effect could be that he can’t be normal or special summoned. He can only be summoned by having 12 “Zoodiac” monsters with different names on the field or in your graveyard. (Yes I know this is the effect rainbow dragon has, but I thought it’d be cool and or interesting). He gains 500 or 600 ATK and DEF x number of Zoodiac monsters on the field. He could have a quick effect were during either player’s turn if a Zoodiac monster you control would be targeted for an attack or by a card effect, change the target to him. And he could also have a once per turn where if you discard or tribute a Zoodiac monster or card, all Zoodiac XYZ’s monsters gain immunity until the end of the turn. And finally if it was sent to the graveyard, you can tribute a Zoodiac monster on your field to special summon it back to the field. Tell me what do you guys think or what could I change. I like this idea and think it’d be a good and prolly broken addition to the archetype.

This might be because the cat is more failiar to the vietnamese then the rabbit. As the rest of the zzodiac, they are pretty much the same, like the rat rode on the back of the buffalo and reach first place as they reach the heavenly gate.
A correction... the elements has its own cycle... it consists of fire, water, wood and metal... you can born on Rat year for example, but every rat year has their own elements... for example 1996 is a Rat year and fire element... one zodiac doesn't hold for one element only...
