@@anonymousnlonely3315 Or just stop shopping at the store. I'd understand more if they had this happening in the middle of the parking lot, but these were not that far from the entrance/exit of the store.
@@BluBlazer Yeah it's just terrible for everyone involved. I remember this was a thing for a few stores we used to go to, but that was yearrsss ago here in Texas. I think they stopped adding those auto lock wheels because it keeps malfunctioning or something.
To whom it may concern, I shop at a store who's had the magnetic cart locking steps for years now. Chances are, those clips were showing people who were trying to maneuver the carts back towards the building AFTER the wheels had locked. You have to have a special device to unlock the wheels even if they're back in range. The locking strips are usually buried around the outer edges of the parking lot, and are usually visible, but still easy to miss if there are no big signs drawing attention to them. It's a "know what to look for" / IYKYK situation most of the time. More often than not, if you can park close to the entrance of the physical store, you should be safe.

It created dangerous situations when oblivious people tried to cross the street and the wheel blocked halfway. Needless to say, they have disappeared from our supermarkets.
Wow. They're meant to set up a digital fence around the boundary of the store and paint it on the concrete. Every store that has used it in the US has done this for like 20 years. Having been in the military myself, it's honestly fascinating to realize how well it works. I got to the point that when the alarms go off in the middle of the night and they play the man-overboard alarm as a drill, I would be up, out of bed, on my feet and in the process of putting my shoes on before I was even aware I was awake.

Basically, it is the military's version of a radio alarm clock that all recruits in basic train get to hear when it is time to start your day, usually at about 4 AM, and very very loudly. It is used to reset your internal alarm clock so that you are awake and ready to get up when it starts playing

@lucasgarcia1741 Have you heard of bans? 💀
I'm so impressed at the way the military program people to wake up ...I know she was so angry at the joke and I was supposed to find it funny. I just found myself weirdly in absolute awe at how alert and ready to get prepared she was, like I felt like I could see it in her eyes for a second before she realized, this whole time the guy next to her is still fast asleep. I know it's just conditioning at the end of the day. I just never see anyone that conditioned, My phone rang the other day and woke me up ..I started unplugging things and switching sockets on and off trying to find the source of the sound before my brain caught up ...I was doing this so long I missed the call...
You can program your brain to wake up to anything. I have an alarm clock across my room that wakes me up with the radio. Works every time and I don't use snooze ever.
Such a lovely sound coming from that little wind instrument. I love that clip!!
My man's blowing on the cosmic key lmao
Yeah, I actually thought that was a cool device. Wouldn't mind owning one.
That transition from the musical instrument to the B roll footage was impeccable
Think about it guys... This man's channel is an online time capsule for future generations to see the best/funny times of our century
These bots are also part of this time capsule generation because they appear on every UA-cam channels. In 2013, there were no bots on UA-cam until 2017
wtf are these bots
Mostly stupid times lol
Yes, this is the optimistic channel and in the other side I have "Jason A" with global events.
A time capsule is meant to last for almost forever. UA-cam will unfortunately only last for about as long as it takes before a billionaire purchases it for insane amounts of money, then wrecks the entire thing.
imagine the wind thing in a hurricane “WIHHHHHHHHHHHHHH”!!! 😂
1:00 what sucks is that the locking zone is smaller than their parking lot. One time we went to Target and helped a lady carry her purchases because the wheels had locked up on her
Yeah cuz many people purposely left them in parking lot
@@basantatamang2249 that's not what the locks are for.

And then he turned into Heihachi Mishima.
I like how the eggplant guy recognizes the stupidity after the event. And not when he was planning it, fetching the eggplant, going to his buddy's and asking his friend to film.
I can only assume he thought it would do the same thing as an egg, based on its name.
