Wow. Jim Ott would be proud of this group. You don't need an organization to give you the trophy. Being the best is just something you always do. It is inside of all of you. You don't need someone else to tell you it's so. With that, I am still upset you all didn't take the Ott. What a season. And you all peaked last night at finals.
Simply the best… no words. This 2022 season, no other DCI corps attempted on brass what Crown does routinely… let alone doing it simultaneously with the extremely demanding drill. If Crown stood still while playing this stuff like the other corps you wouldn’t even be able to compare them. Here standing alone, you can really appreciate just how other worldly this hornline is…
I agree that they are incredible, but you cannot say their drill is extremely demanding anymore. I was sad to see that their drill is no where near as good or demanding compared to years past.
@@jamesplunkett8154 Also people fail to realize that the lots can sound a lot different from what happens on the field even in simple visual moments the had errors and moments that were dirty that got pointed out.
This was the 19.8 that we knew they were capable of. Wish they were given it much earlier in the weekend. But we cannot control numbers. We just sit back and enjoy the hornline of the season once again.
I was there for this. It was lot's of fun watching this in person. I barely even saw them "drop the hammer". I ran across the park to be at least be close by. It was still awesome though.
this corps embodies everything that serious musicians strive for. if this line doesn't deserve top brass placement i don't know what will and quite frankly i dont care either
Best their brass has been in about 5 years. If the drill was more demanding there could've been a medal involved, but I did like the music and the crowd interaction.

Wow…. I hear every bit of that 19.8 👑
I dont know, to my ears I hear an additional 0.10
This is one of the best ensemble sounds Crown has ever put out. And that’s a pretty high bar. The blend is just incredible
Triple tonguing is cool, but that double tonguing feature is total fun!

The problem is that crown had a bit of dirt in context on the field, that’s why they placed lower
Damn! That was hot!
0:58 this is so good
What is the name of the first song they play?
Holy mother of God.
Are the basses really doing all those runs or is this really clever arranging that just sounds like it? Either way is impressive actually.
We actually played them!!
@@davisneff4676 Awesome. Thanks.

So we’ll balanced… best the brass has been since 2013…no shade to 12’ 15’ or 16’
2017 would like a word, and 12 was before 13 anyways 🤣
@@the1aj39 I was about to put 17’ too hahaha
But 13 was just an absolutely amazing year for there brass
Finals night was the 3rd highest brass score Crown has gotten. Behind 2013 and 2012
ooooo idk - personally I think 16' was the best hornline ever put on a field (the only one that might take it would have been 13' though lol)
@@the1aj39 2017 stays on top
No ballad hit 🥹
