There is a lot of references in this. "Fred vom Jupiter" for example is an 80s Neue Deutsche Welle (New German Wave) song by Andreas Dorau (v=57e3ht31S8Y)
Anyone know if Finch is actually espousing "flat earther" viewpoint in the first verse or is there humor/irony in this that doesn't come across in the translation?
Fun fact: This sound Finch does that make you laughing your ass of, is a homage to a old french movie with the actor Louis de Funés. The name of the Movie is „La soupe aux choux“ and the extraterrestrial in this movie makes this sond constantly Greetings from Germany and thank you for your great reactions 🤘
Small addition: The movie is called "Louis und die außerirdischen Kohlköpfe" in German dubbing, as a little hint especially for the younger follwers. 😉 This way, the line "Jetzt sind die Kohlköpfe da/Now the cabbageheads are here", combined with the "blblblblblb"-Sound, makes more sense. Great movie, btw.

I think the Blblblblblblbl is a reference to the alien language from an old Louis de Funès film about aliens and cabbage soup. You should be able to find an appropriate clip when looking for "la soupe aux choux". One of the many cool little gags EC hide in their videos. Those films were fairly popular in Germany, or at least I remember them fondly from childhood :)
LOL, your uncontrollable laughter after the "blllablbalblblablablalb" thing was great. FYI, it's a reference to a classic film about a farmer that is visited by aliens. They become addicted to the farmer's cabbage soup, and when they want more they make that sound. Most of the Finch's lyrics are references to various sci-fi shows/films.
If you want hear more of Nico's intensity, I advise Love / Hate, he also belts on the chorus, although I must warn you that contrarily to all the other songs from Electric Callboy, Love/Hate is more on a serious register and you won't really have the wtf factor. Great video! Cheers
After that tongue thing, Finch rapped "Now the cabbages are here" - this refers to a classic comedy movie from Louis de Funes where he meets aliens from mars. ua-cam.com/video/ZgQPKzb-Xvc/v-deo.html
My god woman... You really had fun doing this. Giggled like little girl. Loved it. I was missing you when you had that little break. You are usually constant streamer, like Elizabeth too. So you 2 ladies make my week when you both have reaction to music tyat is for my taste. Have found some new talents too. Keep up the good work. Lots of love from Finland
I copied you some Information from other comments so you can get a glimps of the overall lyrics and meanings: First verse mentions Yuri Gagarin, and white stripes in the sky proving that the Earth is flat, second verse about how Fred from Jupiter (1981 song) is in the supermarket and he's stealing his spaceship. Also there's a reference to the 1981 Louis de Funes movie La soupe aux choux (Cabbage Soup) about aliens in the French countryside going nuts for cabbage soup. Third verse mentions Jedi knights, Martians and Klingons, a German comedienne being shot through space on a Leberwurst (German liver sausage), and of course the rocketman himself, Elton John. The Lölölölö - wir sind die Kohlköpfe (We are the cabbages) in the Original Video 1:23 is a honor to Louis de Funes movie „Louis und die Außerirdischen Kohlköpfe“ from 1981. OK this is a very hasty translation of finches parts with some context: Finch: Part 1: Finchy Gagarin (Yuri Gagarin was the first man in space) turn the speakers up yesterday still in drywall constructions (in germany drywall is viewed as subpar walling) today i'm (a) cosmonaut yes yes everybody can see them in the sky, white stripes who of you still needs proof yes earth is a disk (Terry Pratchett - Discworld - reference) Part 2: Fred from the jupiter ('Fred vom Jupiter' is a famous song from the 80's in germany) stands in front of the supermarket turns on the boombox and goes off to scooter (scooter is a german techno band/artist) steal his spaceship fly up towards mars plllllplplplllll we are the cabbageheads yeah (Louis de Funes - Cabbage Soup) Part 3: where are the jedi knights? where are the marsians? where are the klingons? i'll do it like with my ex i'll shoot all of you on the moon strapped onto a liverwurst (liverwurst is a german sausage) flies the kebekus through space (Carolin Kebekus is a german comedian) ever further away from us thanks to zero-gravity ungratefullness is the thanks of the worlds ( a common german proverb) here comes the rocketman viva la elton john! Credits to them, not to me...i summerized it only :))

All German Kids - at least growing up in the 80s and 90s know a specific Franch movie starring the legendary Louis de Funes. It played in the french countryside. The character he plays and his friend eventually get drunk in the evenings. One day he cooks some cabbage soup. Long story short: Aliens thought his farts are some kind of beacon or signal and he calls them on purpose. The aliens look like people in big chicken costumes and they communicate by BLBLBLBLBBLBLBLLLLLBLBLBL
Can't get over how much these guys are obviously just having a great time making these songs and videos. Its ridiculously contageous. For as long as they continue this jam they've got going, I'm never gonna stop enjoying everything they put out
I'd say both "Hate/Love" and the more silly "Castrop X Spandau" (where Eskimo Callboy are guest artists in a song with Kalle Koschinsky, who in return has been featured in a couple of their videos) are good examples of Nico's range. With that said, great reaction as always! Your giggle fit at the "blblblblblbl" part was contagious lol.
This "Lulululu Wir sind die Kohlköpfe" were u laughed is a reference to and old Louis de Funes movie "La soupe aux choux" from France. He was an french actor and well known in Germany.
I enjoy Hate/Love, and I think the Prism cover done by Nico for the audition is incredible, in terms of his singing. Both of those might interest you :)
Thank you for this wonderful and knowledgeable response. Nico has a really great voice and I really recommend Love/Hate to go with it - a serious piece that clearly shows his vocal qualities.
For everybody not understanding german but interested in that parts of the lyrics i tried to do a little translation with some explanations: First Part: Finchi Gagarin (Finch + Soviet cosmonaut Juri Gagarin), Turn up the volume of the music box. Yesterday working as a craftsman, today I am a cosmonaut. Yes everyone can see them, the white stripes in the sky. How of you still need a proof, yes the earth is a disc. Second Part: Fred from planet jupiter, is standing in front of the grocery store, turning on the boombox (music box), and partying to Scooter(german techno/edm band). I am stealing his spaceship, flying up in the direction of planet mars. Blblblblb, - no translation needed :P Now the heads of cabbages are here. Third Part: Where are the jedi knights? Where are the people from planet mars? Where are the klingons? Do what did with my ex(girlfriend), I am launching/shooting erverbody up to the moon. (german saying for breaking up with somebody) Strapped to a liverwurst (german type of sausage), Kebekus (female german standup comedian) is flying through the space, continually further away from us , thanks to the weightlessness. Nothing is so hard as man's ingratitude (old German saying). Here comes the rocket man. VIVA LA ELTON JOHN
Someone in the comments has already noticed this but I think theres 2 sound sources with a slight delay between them coming from the computer or there were speakers on when the video was playing and the mic picked it up, creating the delay we hear in the reaction video, but not when you speak
It will unfortunately be the case for the rest of the recordings from this particular filming batch but I’ll make sure this doesn’t happen again in future videos. Thanks for letting me know guys!
Electric Callboy breaks Julia Again :D Great one again Julia. You should listen to "Hate/Love" live for one of their more "serious" songs and more of Nico's brilliant clean singing ^^
Hate/Love is an awesome song, I agree. Totally worth to check it out simply to see that they CAN do different style while still producing really high quality music. I do think that the current style of songs really fit their humor, it feels like they found their niche for now
So many references in this song and video. One thing that stood out to me but Julia missed is the Total Recall (1990) reference. She was sitting there with the three-breasted alien on screen for so long, but I guess that she just haven't seen the classic that is Total Recall.
I’ve been to one of their last shows. And because of illness Kevin couldn’t do the show, so Nico had to do both parts somehow. But no doubts he managed to make such a great compromise between shouting and singing which also shows his true genius as a performer and singer. Just such a awesome band!
Amazing reaction. Much love from Germany 8:58 the noise he makes is a reference to an old french slpastick movie from 1981 with french actor Louis de Funès called Louis und seine außerirdischen Kohlköpfe (english title: The Cabbage Soup). He is a cabbage farmer and one night an alien comes down to planet earth and is a huge fan of his cabbage soup. The alien can't talk, but always makes this noise, especially to get more soup. :) Louis de Funès movies were and still are very popular.
You laughing at that part with Finch is everything, I was laughing as well it totally caught me off guard 🤣. I love it how you appreciate all of them individually, very nice reaction 😁
Julia, apart from the insight and expertise you give us, the "child" in you and your ability to not take everything so serious and just crack up when confronted with hilarious/suggestive jokes just adds to the overall enjoyment and rewatch value 😀 During a dull day, just a dose of Julia can light everything up.Thanks for your effort, stay safe and keep it up! (And don't you dare to arrive ahead of schedule :-)
I saw this video in my recommended list while watching other stuff, instantly clicked it! I didn't even start the video and liked it, because I already know it's going to be another amazing video :))
Wow they don't disappoint. Laughed when the helmet went off. The German parts were awesome with the kind of Rock me Amadeus vibe. Tape on the glasses. Then the mustache on the rocket. I cracked up on the mini Hypa Hypa bounce in the rocket and the rear view mirror. The Twi'lek drinking beer was the final straw, god I want to see that on the Mandalorean now. I must have paused and rewound the video twenty times.
Hun, don’t feel bad: we all turn into idiots when we listen to them and that’s why there is such a dedicated group of people who watch their reaction/whatever videos. It’s one big, silly family and it’s comforting to see others smile in what can be a dark world…and your giggle fit was epic.🤣🤘🏻
I honestly don't have a clue what you're talking about, but I love listening to you. You talking so excitedly about stuff like that is very relatable and entertaining :D Pls keep up the good work!
I've laughed at the spot of the song! I like your technical approach to your reaction. Unlike other reactors who would only listen and meybe tell in the end what they think of a song, you deliver some extra!
This is quite possibly the best bday present Ive ever had. Hot red head reacts to one of my favorite bands. Cant wait till I get to see them live in October
This band, no matter what they call themselves, never fails to put me in a good mood. Julia, please, please react to Ningen Isu's Heartless Scat. Great reaction and badass pedagogy as always.
I don't speak German either, but when I looked, you can see some of what Finch is rapping about - Jedi Knights, Marsmen and Klingons. A really fun song. Wo sind die Jedi-Ritter? Wo sind die Marsmenschen? Wo sind die Klingon’n?
Julia losing it at Finch's "blblblblb" and hearing her crack up, made me crack up. So everyone here at Starbucks is looking at me like I am some kind crazy person... totally worth it though haha 🤣
3:48 "It is so Fun - It Turns me into an idiot" - That is the thing about their music i was not able to put into words. Thanks - i might gone steal that :D
The two layers of audio out of sync gives me a headache so I don't think I can watch this in full unfortunately, but I am glad to see it looks like you enjoyed the song. This band's great.
Electric Callboy and their new album, revolutionary, at least for me. Its fun, its metal. The way you just naturally laughed at Finch's impression is just proof. Also you should check and react to Lorna Shore - Pain Remains 1(or all 3) in case you haven't already Great reaction videos btw :)
Hey Julia, great reaction again, so good to see someone to not only take it all serious and still can break down laughing ;) Is there any chance you give "Secrests of the American Gods" by Blind Guardian or the Warriors of the World United"-Cover by Feuerschwanz a go? :)
So the holographic dancing woman on your first pause was also in the film clip for We Got The Moves, in that she first shows up at the 1:26 mark, being the woman with the black and white umbrella.
I don't see any "Blade Runner" hommage in this music video. The green skinned woman is a Twi'lek from the "Star Wars" universe. Another notable female appearance, the hologram, is a reference to "Total Recall".
Haha.... FiNCH broke Julia. Awesome reaction, as usual. My only complaint is the echo, but I've done that myself when live streaming at work cause of one setting I missed, so I really can't complain. Keep up the good work, cause it's great seeing a fellow Aussie making a mark on here.
EC just released a recording of an accapella Version of prism from there Current Tour. You need to check it out!! Cant wait to see those guys in Berlin in 2 weeks 🥰
Pretty cool reaction! Do you also heard from the song Castrop X Spandau featuring Kalle Koschinski? The guys created a pretty track in german but Nico sing also a very strong hook. Best regards from Germany
Fun song and video. And nice to see that Oola Bint survived Jabba's rancor pit! (Is it sad that I know the name of a bit-part alien lady whose name isn't even mentioned in Return of the Jedi. My own nerdiness shocks me sometimes.)
So there are at least two ways to generate the sound of harsh vocals, you can either breathe out or you can inhale. To me (and I'm not an expert, I just enjoy making weird sounds) it sounds like an inhalation when you are talking about how he goes up at around 20:06 in your video). It's not difficult for someone really skilled to switch harsh vocals from exhaling to inhaling and it doesn't harm your breath control if you go from exhale to inhale for tonal shifts but holding the sound while inhaling is really hard. With the inhaled sound you can go really low and tunnel throat the shit out of the sound or you can get up in the ranges of like a wolf howl or a baby crying or potentially higher (that's how I learned to wolf howl on the inhale by emulating a baby crying.) I don't know what's going on in the throat or true folds vs false folds but it is something else to think about in your ongoing look at harsh vocals. When you look at beatbox vocals from the top guys your world will get even muddier because some of the sounds those guys can make are beyond unreal.
Great video as Always. A Few things regarding diffrent Electric Callboy songs in regards to checking out some of their Skills. There are two accoustic versions i really Love. On is of the Song prism which is originally of the Time before Nico joined but the Accoustic version is Performed by Nico. Additionally the version of Prism Nico created to Audition for his spot as Vocalist for Electric Callboy is also a great One. (thats available on Nicos UA-cam Channel "Nico EC") The Second Accoustic is from Pump IT that is really nice aswell. And there are several Live version from theire Songs, i like the Live version of Hypa Hypa from Wacken World Wide. It great to see the Live vocals from Nico and Kevin. One thing, maybe it is on purpose, The Audio of the Original Music was a little off. Maybe somehting with the Capturing of the Desktop Audio?
The Reference to the "blblblblblblbl"-Thing is the movie "La soupe aux choux" ("The_Cabbage_Soup") with Louis de Funès. 'Cabbage' means 'Kohl' in german. in german the movie is called "Louis und seine außerirdischen Kohlköpfe", which means "Louis and his extraterrestrial Cabbage-Heads". 'Cabbagehead' can also be used as a swear word in german, meaning with a sense of humour. So after Finch is doing his "blblblblblb" he says "Hier sind die Kohlköpfe, ja" ("Here are the cabbageheads").
By the power of epic pompadours, we will break through the FIFTH. OCTAVE! AVE. Ave. ave..... (I had such flashbacks to those old cheesy scifi shows when you said that)
Your joy when watching it is so infectious and fun, thank you. If you want another group that does the contrasting growling-vocalist-and-a-clean-vocalist but even more extreme, have you heard Hatari? Imagine industrial/techno/metal mashed-up with Sigur Ros and it somehow just works... I would *love* to hear your take on their vocals ua-cam.com/video/eVbShUW6QBM/v-deo.html
Yes please check out "Hate/Love" ! Also They got some nice acoustic performances that really showcase their vocal abilities. "Pump it" acoustic: ua-cam.com/video/e3Gy9bylFOo/v-deo.html "Prism" acoustic: ua-cam.com/video/0IGuVuQrh-Y/v-deo.html
This was a great reaction, I could tell you loved it. Though when you get talking about false folds and fry and the technical things, I understand it almost as much as I do the German. :p
"It's so fun it turns me in to an idiot" - describes Electric Callboy perfectly!
I too resonated with this statement
I agree, but I don`t think having fun with music makes you an idiot.
Thats what music is all about in my opinion.
This will be my new excuse everytime I have fun and others ask me what's going on with me
came to the comments for this

Behind the "Where are the Marsians" line, you can hear the "nag nag nag" sounds the marsians in Mars Attacks made! :D
I think the Elton John thing reveals to his song "Rocketman"
I think after “Immer weiter von uns weg…” its “dank DER Schwerelosigkeit” (thanks to the) and not “thank you”
There is a lot of references in this. "Fred vom Jupiter" for example is an 80s Neue Deutsche Welle (New German Wave) song by Andreas Dorau (v=57e3ht31S8Y)

this funny sound is a tribute to an very old Film

the band Finch would like a word in the song Bitemarks and Bloodstains
I think the Blblblblblblbl is a reference to the alien language from an old Louis de Funès film about aliens and cabbage soup. You should be able to find an appropriate clip when looking for "la soupe aux choux". One of the many cool little gags EC hide in their videos.
Those films were fairly popular in Germany, or at least I remember them fondly from childhood :)
LOL, your uncontrollable laughter after the "blllablbalblblablablalb" thing was great.

Louis de Funès!
Yes, the movie : "la soupe aux choux" 😅
How can anybody even try to describe the movie without mentioning the farts?!?!?!
@@ToriTrak the "Cabbage fart competition" between Louis and his neighbor was the reason the alien came to them if i remember correctly...
Thanks Cap! I see the crew is class too!
Julia: "I'm such a child..."
Don't lose it.
If you want hear more of Nico's intensity, I advise Love / Hate, he also belts on the chorus, although I must warn you that contrarily to all the other songs from Electric Callboy, Love/Hate is more on a serious register and you won't really have the wtf factor.
Great video! Cheers
Yep, I was going to recommend the same thing. The acoustic stuff they did was good one too.
I would recommend their live version, Nico's vocal power is really showcased there, you can see his intensity grow throughout the entire song
4th recommendation for the same here. Good track :)
Hate/Love
Got some echo going on in this recording. Otherwise another entertaining video. Keep 'em coming.
You're not wrong, the echo is really bad lol
Technically speaking it's not an echo, but two soundclips out of synch.
@@TEG13 no shit Sherlock, but way to out yourself as that guy.

After that tongue thing, Finch rapped "Now the cabbages are here" - this refers to a classic comedy movie from Louis de Funes where he meets aliens from mars.

I copied you some Information from other comments so you can get a glimps of the overall lyrics and meanings:
First verse mentions Yuri Gagarin, and white stripes in the sky proving that the Earth is flat, second verse about how Fred from Jupiter (1981 song) is in the supermarket and he's stealing his spaceship.
OK this is a very hasty translation of finches parts with some context:
Finch:
Part 1:
Finchy Gagarin (Yuri Gagarin was the first man in space)
turn the speakers up
yesterday still in drywall constructions (in germany drywall is viewed as subpar walling)
today i'm (a) cosmonaut
yes yes everybody can see them
in the sky, white stripes
who of you still needs proof
yes earth is a disk (Terry Pratchett - Discworld - reference)
Part 2:
Fred from the jupiter ('Fred vom Jupiter' is a famous song from the 80's in germany)
stands in front of the supermarket
turns on the boombox
and goes off to scooter (scooter is a german techno band/artist)
steal his spaceship
fly up towards mars
plllllplplplllll
we are the cabbageheads yeah (Louis de Funes - Cabbage Soup)
Part 3:
where are the jedi knights?
where are the marsians?
where are the klingons?
i'll do it like with my ex
i'll shoot all of you on the moon
strapped onto a liverwurst (liverwurst is a german sausage)
flies the kebekus through space (Carolin Kebekus is a german comedian)
ever further away from us
thanks to zero-gravity
ungratefullness
is the thanks of the worlds ( a common german proverb)
here comes the rocketman
viva la elton john!
Credits to them, not to me...i summerized it only :))
Cool, dich findet man unter jedem Reaction-Video ^^
Where are the Klingons? Well obviously off the starboard bow (that's why they're pointing to their right)

Electric Callboy is just a super fun band and you had fun for sure too
All German Kids - at least growing up in the 80s and 90s know a specific Franch movie starring the legendary Louis de Funes.
Ich feier diese Szene jedesmal.
Ich hab so gehofft, den Kommentar dazu zu finden
Can't get over how much these guys are obviously just having a great time making these songs and videos. Its ridiculously contageous. For as long as they continue this jam they've got going, I'm never gonna stop enjoying everything they put out
I'd say both "Hate/Love" and the more silly "Castrop X Spandau" (where Eskimo Callboy are guest artists in a song with Kalle Koschinsky, who in return has been featured in a couple of their videos) are good examples of Nico's range.
With that said, great reaction as always! Your giggle fit at the "blblblblblbl" part was contagious lol.
That’s exactly what I wanted to suggest as well.
@@anni6686 [high five] Great minds think alike!
Aye, one could also give "To the Rats and Wolves" a listen, eg. their song "Down" or their BMTH cover of "Drown".
@OJ The Viking High five back 😁
It's a wonderful song. When Julia watches the song, it might be useful to watch HypaHypa again and possibly HypaHypa by Kalle Koschinsky beforehand.
This "Lulululu Wir sind die Kohlköpfe" were u laughed is a reference to and old Louis de Funes movie "La soupe aux choux" from France. He was an french actor and well known in Germany.
8:56 love seeing you break when they did this! That laugh is Infectious!
Hate/love
Loved that reaction so much. Your giggling literally made me laugh with you crying :D It was awesome, thank you!
the "Blblblblblbl" absolutely killed me
For that comedic part you were talking, you need to see MC Thunder 1&2 from EC.... You'll laugh your ass off :D
For everybody not understanding german but interested in that parts of the lyrics i tried to do a little translation with some explanations:
First Part:
Finchi Gagarin (Finch + Soviet cosmonaut Juri Gagarin),
Turn up the volume of the music box.
Yesterday working as a craftsman,
today I am a cosmonaut.
Yes everyone can see them,
the white stripes in the sky.
How of you still need a proof,
yes the earth is a disc.
Second Part:
Fred from planet jupiter,
is standing in front of the grocery store,
turning on the boombox (music box),
and partying to Scooter(german techno/edm band).
I am stealing his spaceship,
flying up in the direction of planet mars.
Blblblblb, - no translation needed :P
Now the heads of cabbages are here.
Third Part:
Where are the jedi knights?
Where are the people from planet mars?
Where are the klingons?
Do what did with my ex(girlfriend),
I am launching/shooting erverbody up to the moon. (german saying for breaking up with somebody)
Strapped to a liverwurst (german type of sausage),
Kebekus (female german standup comedian) is flying through the space,
continually further away from us ,
thanks to the weightlessness.
Nothing is so hard as man's ingratitude (old German saying).
Here comes the rocket man.
VIVA LA ELTON JOHN
Saw them live in Antwerp couple of days ago, they're just as impressive live as in their clips
Likewise! I went there with a good friend, best party we've had in ages and a really good start of going to concerts again!
I think this is your best reaction video!!!! I lost it when your laughter went out of control! Keep it up Julia
The blblblblblblblbl is from the french movie The Cabbage Soup by Louis de Funes (a pretty famous "oldschool" sci fi movie in germany)
Hello Julia, a new song from Electric Callboy is Out. you must react to that... it calls Hurrikan
I am still convinced the hair was a Leningrad Cowboys reference.
Hey Julia, There is an acoustic Version of "prism " and " pump it" you will love 😆
Damn Finch got her good. So cute. Lovely greetings from Germany.
Electric Callboy breaks Julia Again :D
Great one again Julia. You should listen to "Hate/Love" live for one of their more "serious" songs and more of Nico's brilliant clean singing ^^
Hate/Love is an awesome song, I agree. Totally worth to check it out simply to see that they CAN do different style while still producing really high quality music.
I do think that the current style of songs really fit their humor, it feels like they found their niche for now
Love it! Hopefully these guys have an album coming soon!
They do!!
This year they are going on Tour in germany and also announced their new album
Should drop late summer probably right before their tour in the states
they announced yesterday that the new album which is called "TEKKNO" will be released at september 9th
So many references in this song and video. One thing that stood out to me but Julia missed is the Total Recall (1990) reference. She was sitting there with the three-breasted alien on screen for so long, but I guess that she just haven't seen the classic that is Total Recall.
Or was it Eccentrica Gallumbits, the triple-breasted wh**e from Eroticon Six in Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy 🤔
Much love from Germany
8:58 the noise he makes is a reference to an old french slpastick movie from 1981 with french actor Louis de Funès called Louis und seine außerirdischen Kohlköpfe (english title: The Cabbage Soup). He is a cabbage farmer and one night an alien comes down to planet earth and is a huge fan of his cabbage soup. The alien can't talk, but always makes this noise, especially to get more soup. :) Louis de Funès movies were and still are very popular.
3 parts of the fun of Julia's reactions is watching her loss her shit 😂❤😂
Viva la Elton John gets me every time! 😂😂🔥
I love the genuine mirth you express sometimes! Also this is the first video I've seen by you where you swear! Somehow very satisfying :)
I love your laughs at Electric Callboy Videos. My mirror neurons kick in hard every time. 😃
Been listening to these guys for several years and finally (hopefully) get to see them live in a month.
I subscibed because of your soothing voice, honest smile and great commentary..
Best reaction ever .. your genuine laughter is absolutely priceless! Almost made me laugh here at work! OOPS! LOL
Charmant wie immer . Und die Outtakes machen es noch menschlicher als es eh schon ist . Vielen Dank.
Thank you for not being a vocal snob and complain about simplicity but rather on how EC builds excitement and fun. That is what the band is about.
Yep. They're masters of the fun/metal/dance/club/scream genre and it's always so slick. Great reaction Julia.
love that towards the end everytime you pause it goes to the twillik screen x)
I've laughed at the spot of the song! I like your technical approach to your reaction. Unlike other reactors who would only listen and meybe tell in the end what they think of a song, you deliver some extra!
This is quite possibly the best bday present Ive ever had. Hot red head reacts to one of my favorite bands. Cant wait till I get to see them live in October
As many others in the comments are saying, Hate/Love is a perfect example of more of this kind of singing from Nico 👍 and great reaction as usual!

Julia has the cutes giggles I swear... We all laugh like that when listening to them too... :D
This band is the light side of a Rammstein coin
The hype is real? Heck yeah it is. I can't wait to see Electric Callboy live in August!
It's Electric Callboy. It's always different, it's always great, it's always fun. What more do you need?
I don't know if my youtube is just messed up, but it seems like you have a slight reverb on the music video, but not your reaction.
Also you should check and react to Lorna Shore - Pain Remains 1(or all 3) in case you haven't already
Great reaction videos btw :)
Lmfao! 🤣 I'm so in love with you! You're reactions are what I live for. Lol... Keep up with the good work, lady! 🖤
Mission goal: Crack Julia up
Electric Callboy: We got you covered! (Every single time!!!)
Fun as always to see how much you enjoy the boys. ;)
that's the joy of EC: we are all kids together, no matter our chronological ages
9:00. Aaaaannd that was the moment I was waiting for. EC delivers, yet again.
Hi, I love Australians! Your great and so delightful! Keep doing this! I would love to hear
you sing !
"VIVA LA ELTON JOHN" ......I just wish I could've seen your reaction when finding out that was in the song ...love your reactions!
Hey Julia, great reaction again, so good to see someone to not only take it all serious and still can break down laughing ;)
Is there any chance you give "Secrests of the American Gods" by Blind Guardian or the Warriors of the World United"-Cover by Feuerschwanz a go? :)
Julia's laugh is so adorable lol
So the holographic dancing woman on your first pause was also in the film clip for We Got The Moves, in that she first shows up at the 1:26 mark, being the woman with the black and white umbrella.
The Lady in "your favourite still" you immediately turned back to is a cute little hommage of the classic movie "Bladerunner" btw :)
I don't see any "Blade Runner" hommage in this music video. The green skinned woman is a Twi'lek from the "Star Wars" universe. Another notable female appearance, the hologram, is a reference to "Total Recall".
Hi Julia, this was a lot of FUN.
Haha.... FiNCH broke Julia. Awesome reaction, as usual. My only complaint is the echo, but I've done that myself when live streaming at work cause of one setting I missed, so I really can't complain. Keep up the good work, cause it's great seeing a fellow Aussie making a mark on here.
Also have to love the hilariously mixed up references to so many SF movies :D
EC just released a recording of an accapella Version of prism from there Current Tour. You need to check it out!! Cant wait to see those guys in Berlin in 2 weeks 🥰
The big hair just reminded me of Johnny Bravo from Cartoon Network, a many many years ago cartoon show.
I was amazed a Total Recall made into this video
8:58 - that sound Fich's making with his tongue is a reference to a film with Louis De Funes, which is quite popular in Germany
I have one thing but to say BLBLBLBL.
Awsome vid 🤣🤣🤣
So there are at least two ways to generate the sound of harsh vocals, you can either breathe out or you can inhale. To me (and I'm not an expert, I just enjoy making weird sounds) it sounds like an inhalation when you are talking about how he goes up at around 20:06 in your video). It's not difficult for someone really skilled to switch harsh vocals from exhaling to inhaling and it doesn't harm your breath control if you go from exhale to inhale for tonal shifts but holding the sound while inhaling is really hard. With the inhaled sound you can go really low and tunnel throat the shit out of the sound or you can get up in the ranges of like a wolf howl or a baby crying or potentially higher (that's how I learned to wolf howl on the inhale by emulating a baby crying.)
I don't know what's going on in the throat or true folds vs false folds but it is something else to think about in your ongoing look at harsh vocals.
(thats available on Nicos UA-cam Channel "Nico EC")
The Second Accoustic is from Pump IT that is really nice aswell.
I love this song... its one I must blast while driving with the bolulululu
8:57 instant serotonin button
OCTAVE! AVE. Ave. ave.....
(I had such flashbacks to those old cheesy scifi shows when you said that)
Yes, please do an analysis of Hate/Love from them as well!
Your joy when watching it is so infectious and fun, thank you.
If you want another group that does the contrasting growling-vocalist-and-a-clean-vocalist but even more extreme, have you heard Hatari? Straight giggle fest up in here, I loved it.
This was a great reaction, I could tell you loved it. Though when you get talking about false folds and fry and the technical things, I understand it almost as much as I do the German. :p
