My great uncle owned a coffee plantation in Brazil and I am so very grateful to have so many and such vivid memories! His passion and pride in the caring for his precious plants and beans was infectious! I remember his white suits and hats, and always a tie! He would taste them in all stages and after roasting. His earned success didn't result in any of us realizing any financial benefits. I wouldn't have traded my memories of staying with him when we visited from the states, the incredibly deep love and affection he had for his niece, who was my mother, and all of us are the riches I carry in my heart! Watching videos like this, as an old lady, make me think of Tio Antonio and his amazing dedication to working so hard at so many details many didn't bother doing. This has become an art form and for me, this workflow completes the circle from when I crouched down in the sum with my uncle and planted coffee beans that years later we picked coffee beans! Yes, he had commercial equipment and a staff, but the one on one time was fabulous! Thank you for reminding me of such beautiful memories! I love this setup!!! Someday I hope to have one and I will make two "cafézinhos!" One for me and one for Tio Antonio! 🙏❤️👵
@@Robdutton91 sure but it is absolutely wildly misrepresented in this video when you compare to the rest of the sounds, ilke magnets slipping into place. which you know.
The espresso maker advertised here is Flair and it's a hand-pull/push espresso maker. They have some others that are cheaper and not nearly as solid and kind of ugly but they go for around $100. There are other ones like leverpresso but those are the 2 that you could get around $100 and have been reviewed. You can get a hand grinder if you don't mind the work so maybe another $100 for a nice one but not top of the line. Optionally, I would get a nice scale, a metal filter, tamper and the water that sprays the beans so the dust doesn't have static cling. For what works, these items are not that expensive.
The press is only $600 and they have others that are cheaper but probably do the same work. The 58 just seems like a prettier version to me. His grinder is like $350 or so and the rest of the equipment can probably be had for $100-200. I'm not talking expensive WDT or scales btw. Pretty cheap for years of hobbying and enjoying drinks every day.

Watching this is so relaxing.
That's the quietest coffee grinder I've ever heard 😳
Correction: The sound was just considerably dimmed for this short. The grinder is actually very high-pitched and whiny.
It sounds like that with noiscanceling headphones on. I have it at home
@@eurapeonit’s known for being quiet, if you think the VS3 is noisy then you would think my ascaso was an A380 taking off in my kitchen

From memory around 80db is a decently quiet grinder which is where things like the timemore 68 and the niche zero sit.
That’s awesome, I wish I had this set up in my office at work! 😮😅😊
Truly great setup. Wish I could have something like that.
I am not a fan of coffee but watching this feel relaxed. I would love to have like this coffee maker. ❤
Darn! Wish I could afford this setup! Looks amazing! Just got some beginner stuff and trying to make do with what I have! 😂
This short puts me in a peaceful trance. I like this setup.
@FlairEspresso how about placing one puck first, then the coffee, then add another puck ? As an experiment 🔬
Thinking of purchasing the VS3. Hoping that it works as good IRL as i see on youtube.
I'm no grinder producer, but I'd wait and save money on a grinder which doesn't have a static release when grinding coffee.
@@Daniel-dj7fh So a grinder with a deioniser?
I meant one which doesn't generate satic polarity because everything is grounded correctly.@@user-oe1nt4pp8n
@@Daniel-dj7fh the spraying is a fun part of the process
The world can be a beautiful place.
Love my varia but I am doing 2 or even 1 size for my light roast...
same, im doing 2. i was surprised he uses 4
It really makes you want to have the same set just to replicate it ;)
I like your temper. What model is it? And where to buy
Normal Dose Tamper (normaldose.com/products/normaltamper)
How much all together ? And why spraying
This is mesmerizing! I would love to win that and have that work flow be part of my afternoon break from work
Looks exquisite and it will taste remarkable 😌👌🏽
Man, I don't even care if the coffee tastes bad (Idk how to tell anyway), I just enjoy watching the process
Es relajante
I just got my VARIA VS3! what's the ideal dial for espresso! 3-4,5?
Does this taste better than La Marzocco?
why you set your grinder to 4? I checked it's medium fine which is not for espresso 🤔
Whats that spray?can you answer pls?
Just water to prevent static when grinding.
Why are you spray the beans?
Great video! One question: Have you experienced dial drift on the Varia while grinding?
So far we have not
@@FlairEspresso Thank you! I've been asking this in a few other videos just to get a picture of the VS3 😂😅 I love the Flair by the way, cheers!! 😉👍
What is the minimum youd need to make espresso?

What's the purpose of spraying the beans? Also are you spraying it with water?
How do you clean all of your equipment.
What tamper is this? Looks like it works nice!
Why the cold start?
So what’s the secret to getting it so creamie? The freshness of the beans? Grind?…. Everything? Lol
crema is it's name and yep everything 😊
This is just freakin amazing. Where can I find that coffee grinder. I'm amazed man lol😂😊
How do you steam milk?
this VS3 is gen 1 or gen 2?
How muchbis this all together
i’ve always wondered, what is that stuff you spritz onto the beans? my first thought was some kind of flavor but that doesn’t seem right
Water, reduces static cling while grinding.
What is that tamper?
how am i suppose to make a milk drink with a lever expresso machine? is there a single wand/steamer by itself out there?
What's with that spray?
Is just water to lessen the statics
What is the spray for? I’m new to this whole coffee thing.
since no one answered you, it's just water, which reduces static in the grinder and allows for less retention!
Looks absolutely awesome
What is this spray?
How much that Varia water container cost? $10.000?
Looks so good!
Which tamper are you using?
I don’t know why but making coffee is so relaxing to me.
Anyone else?

Это для увлажнения зерна, чтобы убрать статику, так смолотый кофе лучше высыпается из кофемолки и не оставляет в ней остатки.
