Kool aid blue works great, but I never used conditioner with it. Just hot water the blue powder and smush it on your hair, cover with cap. The other koolaid colors never stuck in my hair.

I used to use 5 packs of Black Cherry on my dark hair. I'd mix the Kool Aid in boiled water and soak my hair in it.
