What a journey this drama gave me! This has been by far one of the best that I've seen. Its focus on family & friendship was more than enough for me to even care who Deok Sun ends up with. I've been heartbroken during Jung Hwan's confession in Ep 18, & felt sorry for him too. But I think that time he already felt that Deok Sun was falling for Taek. I think Taek has really been the end game from the beginning though. Deok sun started to like Sunwoo just after her friends told her they notice him liking her, then shifted to Junghwan when they said the same. Like what Dongryong advised her, it's not really an issue of who likes her, rather, who SHE likes & she has always been taking care of Taek since the start without anyone telling her he likes her not just as a friend. =) Thank you for the wonderful rollercoaster ride show!
exactly..That's the exact point that alot of JH shipper or the others missed out on...from that part dong ryong told her that, the clue is already obvious

Finally i found someone who has the same thought as me! Right from the beginning, the writer been hinting a lot that it was taek, apart from what u have said, the husband was a left hander, he smoked, he wore thin clothes etc. Anyway, i agree that the main focus point was not the love story. It was the close family bond and the beautiful friendship that made me cried so much. I'm glad that i watched this drama, missing it badly now..

what amazes me is how Deokseon doesn't know what Taek's got for her. I mean, the whole series, he does nothing but to show his love in the little things he does. The best was, when he accompany Deok in the "flasher" scene . 😍👏
I watched the drama again and I finished last night. After watching, I can't help but reminisce my childhood memories. Gosh, this drama made me so emotional. It made me remember my childhood friends, my days in high school and my high school friends. I miss those days where we spent our time playing and having knee scars hahaha! Even though I was not born in 1980s (I'm a '98 liner), It made me want to back again to the past. This drama made me experience a Rollercoaster of emotions. Damn. This drama is truly a masterpiece.
The best drama ever. Very realistic and hearthwarming! I feel sorry for Junghwan! Please give us closure for Junghwan's lovelife, still I can't move on until now! 😢😭😭😢
JUST MY OPINION: If you look carefully duk seon cared for taek from the beginning until her friends told her that sunwoo also likes her. She was confused abt her feelings and started liking sunwoo and later same happened with jung pal. She was confused bc that was her first time hearing that someone actually likes her so she was confused. We all know jung pal and duk seon moments were more than taek and duk seon. But only if taek was not so busy and was a normal students like the rest of his friends we could have seen duk seon and taek moments more. Jung pal actually had a huge chance since taek was always busy and when duk seon gave him pink shirt on his bday he could have directly confessed her and also when they had a movie date and yes,they would have become a couple. Though,Jung pal cared her he hesitated it from the begining and later even more when he knows that taek also like duk seon. But taek was unaware of it and kept on liking duk seon endlessly until he finds out that jung pal also likes her. Taek took a step back bc he didn't want to lose his friend. This sweet boy was so excited for his 1st movie date with duk seon but he cancelled only for jung pal sake. Taek waited her for 5 YEARS. Unlike jung pal who had all the time with duk seon there was actually no WAITING GAME for him. Still he was hesitating. Can't you guys see taek deserve her more than jung pal. If you hesitate to share wht you feel for someone you love what's the point? When dong hwi told duk seon that it doesn't matter who likes her what matters the most is who actually she likes. She realized that she had feelings for taek. Otherwise why would she make food for taek and take care of him when they went to China? Why would she go to taek room when her leg was injured before they had 1st kiss? Why would she stay at taek's room and watch him sleep? Till then taek didn't even confessed her. It didn't happen like sun woo and jung pal like if they like her she also developed feelings for her. Duk seon had genuine feelings for taek so did taek. We were shown in epi 18 how jung pal ran towards duk seon to watch concert everyone's heart breaked watching that we were shown only jung pal side story but can we see how taek ran superfast towards her he didn't even came in a car. He was in the middle of the game he ran towards her right after he heard that dukseon was waiting alone just not be late and yes he reached just before jung pal. Where as jung pal knew it before the movie started he had enough time. He would have reached before taek but still he hesitated and finally he build up courage and ran towards her and yes he was late. Jungpal even said that taek needed her more than he need.Taek even went to see jung pal and asked his permission ( aww this sweet guy
and Taek loves her like from 1978, that's way too long my friend... and Taek is so irresponsible in other things but boldy shows his love for Deokseon. He is gentle with her, he made sure to talk to her with respect too. Taek's the real gentleman in here. I mean, yes, JH loves her, but Taek's much more evident and pure. While Deoksun is so busy looking for someone who likes her, Taek's want nothing else in the world but her.
@@sprashuna after watching it for the first time, I don't have the idea of who's ending with who... and I am really surprised when Taek's confessed. I re-watch the series and tried to observe details for them, I can clearly see that they really were meant for each other. Taek's not the typical prince charming material, you know, he has a lot of weakness as a man, but whenever he is with Deokseon, he clearly stand up and protected her with all he can. That for me is something special. And I am so proud of how he is not shy of telling the world that he love Deokseon. 👏👏👏👏❤❤❤ , like many are saying, "you can marry a Taek anytime" 😊😊😊😊

Actually we were only shown the jungpal side ho story everytime so many of them actually support jungpal rather than taek. I don't have problem with that I find him cool yk. But if we see taek's point of view i think people will change their mind. He had to end up with deokseon. ❤ So glad that we share the same point of view 😊
same thought too about your opinion in the concert scene... sometimes I feel bad because JH has a lot of scenes with Deokseon, it feels unfair for us team Taek, but I think, it is not of how many moments you got, it's how special the moment counts. :) I feel bad for all those people who discredit Taek's effort. It is not only JH's heart was broken. Even though in Taek's competitive nature, he gave up confessing his feelings because he respect JH feelings, and about JH's loss, I think everybody has its share of a broken heart. It doesn't mean that the one who has been hurt the most has the greatest love. Sometimes, you love the person but the person you love loves someone else. To add, when JH finally confessed and gave his ring, Deokseon didn't accept it and in the scene, someone opened the door and Deoksun immediately look at the door and kinda hoping it's Taek. I guess it is what it is in life too. If I know, if this happened in real life, you will definitely choose Taek. 😊😊😊

If you hesitate to share wht you feel for someone you love what's the point? When dong hwi told duk seon that it doesn't matter who likes her what matters the most is who actually she likes. She realized that she had feelings for taek. Otherwise why would she make food for taek and take care of him when they went to China? Why would she go to taek room when her leg was injured before they had 1st kiss? Why would she stay at taek's room and watch him sleep? Till then taek didn't even confessed her. It didn't happen like sun woo and jung pal like if they like her she also developed feelings for her. Duk seon had genuine feelings for taek so did taek. We were shown in epi 18 how jung pal ran towards duk seon to watch concert everyone's heart breaked watching that we were shown only jung pal side story but can we see how taek ran superfast towards her he didn't even came in a car. He was in the middle of the game he ran towards her right after he heard that dukseon was waiting alone just not be late and yes he reached just before jung pal. Where as jung pal knew it before the movie started he had enough time. He would have reached before taek but still he hesitated and finally he build up courage and ran towards her and yes he was late. Jungpal even said that taek needed her more than he need.Taek even went to see jung pal and asked his permission ( aww this sweet guy
and Taek loves her like from 1978, that's way too long my friend... and Taek is so irresponsible in other things but boldy shows his love for Deokseon. He is gentle with her, he made sure to talk to her with respect too. Taek's the real gentleman in here. I mean, yes, JH loves her, but Taek's much more evident and pure. While Deoksun is so busy looking for someone who likes her, Taek's want nothing else in the world but her.

@@sprashuna after watching it for the first time, I don't have the idea of who's ending with who... and I am really surprised when Taek's confessed. I re-watch the series and tried to observe details for them, I can clearly see that they really were meant for each other. Taek's not the typical prince charming material, you know, he has a lot of weakness as a man, but whenever he is with Deokseon, he clearly stand up and protected her with all he can. That for me is something special. And I am so proud of how he is not shy of telling the world that he love Deokseon. 👏👏👏👏❤❤❤ ,

@@sherylmaecarbonell4611 ikr. I was so shocked and happy at the same time when taek called her in the 1st snow to go watch a movie with him. Actually we were only shown the jungpal side ho story everytime so many of them actually support jungpal rather than taek. I don't have problem with that I find him cool yk. But if we see taek's point of view i think people will change their mind. He had to end up with deokseon. ❤ So glad that we share the same point of view 😊
same thought too about your opinion in the concert scene... sometimes I feel bad because JH has a lot of scenes with Deokseon, it feels unfair for us team Taek, but I think, it is not of how many moments you got, it's how special the moment counts. :) I feel bad for all those people who discredit Taek's effort. It is not only JH's heart was broken. Even though in Taek's competitive nature, he gave up confessing his feelings because he respect JH feelings, and about JH's loss, I think everybody has its share of a broken heart. It doesn't mean that the one who has been hurt the most has the greatest love. Sometimes, you love the person but the person you love loves someone else. To add, when JH finally confessed and gave his ring, Deokseon didn't accept it and in the scene, someone opened the door and Deoksun immediately look at the door and kinda hoping it's Taek.
I guess it is what it is in life too.
If I know, if this happened in real life, you will definitely choose Taek. 😊😊😊
