I really hoped they would’ve made it reusable, so I could use it for other hand creams, but unfortunately they didn’t. Hopefully they will change it to become reusable soon, but at least it’s recyclable.
@@ciaraharrison4783 Oh, it is reusable! You can open it somehow, check out r/glossier, someone on there did it and detailed how she did it! (A part pops off or something)
I wiped off the excess in between each section! Filming would have been a slippery mess if I was layering that many hand creams 😂 and I was trying to avoid getting any on my laptop and camera! x
I know this is an old comment, but one thing I always do with moisturizer is only apply it to the backs of my hands. My palms don’t dry out like the backs, and I everything I touch stays moisturizer free!
I was wishing for a hand cream from them! I'd been meaning to film this for a long time and had already finished planning the video, but decided to include that little clip after it launched otherwise there would be hundreds of 'have you seen their hand cream?!' comments 😄 x
could you do a video of you reviewing L’Occitane products? (lip balms, hans creams, perfumes, etc.) i use a lot of them in my everyday routine and would love to hear your critiques!
I don't own any L’Occitane products unfortunately Sofia! But I might have to give their hand cream a try in future after many people raved about it here 👍 x
Matilda, I've been watching your videos for a while and I'm a huge fan! I was wondering if you can come out a "What's in my bag" video. I'm so curious as to what you carry from day to day, I can't be the only one!
I've been on a quest to empty out my beauty closet so I've been using face creams, body moisturisers, even eye creams as hand creams. This way a cream that is perhaps to rich for my face ends up getting used instead of getting thrown out :) in terms of actual hand creams I've always loved the l'occitane ones (esp the rose scented one)
I’ve found weleda skin food to be a perfect hand cream! I usually mix a tiny bit with my moisturizer only if I need extra hydration because it’s a bit heavy, but that makes it perfect for night 😍 (and it’s great on lips too!)
@@ginamiller6754 I always have a bottle of La Roche Posay Lipikar AP+ balm laying around for when my hands are very dry. It's a heavier formula but sinks in quickly and my hands stay hydrated for a long time. If I just need extra help around my nails, I'll put some cuticle oil on and then use either the Dionis goat's milk cream or original CeraVe, both of which are great for dry skin but aren't as heavy as the Lipikar balm.
I cant wait to see your vid on the glossier hand cream looks amazing and i hope you like it! I love you so much your vids are amazing!!!!!!!!! i cant believe im so early !
I'm honestly so glad I discovered you, your videos are relaxing, aesthetically pleasing, and informative. I'm always waiting for a new video, love you!
Need to try the Aesop hand cream! I’ve always loved the body shop hemp hand cream as it actually helped heal some cuts I got on my hands but I always love trying a new hand cream.

Olive & June's cuticle serum is AMAZING! I find hand creams and cuticle oils/balms too greasy for day-to-day most of the time but that one is amazing. I also use the Kiehl's Ultimate Strength Hand Salve every night before bed and it's been a game changer for me! Highly recommend it!

I saw many of my favourites in your video and a few more that I want to try. There are some brands that are unavailable in Europe and I stock up when I’m home in Canada. That being said, I’m fortunate to have many European brands to choose from. My winter favourite is from Weleda called “Skin Food” - I use both the light version and the richer cream version in a pot. Such instant relief from tight, itchy and uncomfortable dry skin 😊

I have the driest skin! For years, I’ve been loving both the Baume Mains Intense Karité by L’occitane (I have the crème pieds too) and the Aēsop Resurrection Aromatique hand balm✨
one of my favorite creams is from loccitane! especially the shea butter its just so smooth and it leaves my skin soft edit: ohh my gosh thank you matilda for replying me 😍😭
Hey! I really like the Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream. I like to moisturize my hands several times a day as they get quite dry but I hate the feeling of slipperiness that some creams leave. This one absorbs instantly and smells lovely
I ran out of my CerVe hand cream so I've been covering my hands in thick layers Kiehl's creme de corps and its been helping my eczema. I really want to get that Glossier hand cream that smells like You--they hurt my feelings when they discontinued the solid perfume 😩 I love layering fragrance.
I am obsessed with Caudalíe hand creme and the Jo Malone hand creme in honeysuckle and davana!!! But the go to hand creme that you can find in all my bags is the L'Occitane hand creme in Lavender!!!! But lately Caudalíe is my favorite night hand routine especially as long shifts at the hospital and all the handwashing and the gloves wearing is making my hands terribly dry and crying for some tlc! Loved the video will definitely grab a chanel hand creme when all this mayhem is over!!! Cheers! Keep the videos coming!
i love your videos so much it’s almost like the only bit of calm in my life right now haha!! i was wondering if maybe you are thinking about doing a more in depth review over all of your favorite perfumes (like wear time, price etc)
Thank you Ellie, so nice to hear! ☺️ Definitely planning a video on perfumes in future, but it will be more nostalgic as this is the only scent I've worn for many years x
It's listed in the description box! I like the scent a lot, the mango definitely wins out 🥭 It's a French company but I bought it in desperation in Spain on a day out a couple of years ago when my hands were painfully dry. It worked a treat! Very light but moisturising. It's a nice little size so I've kept it for future travels x
Matilda oops my bad! 🙈 thank you so much for the info! Haha it‘s funny because I am Spanish and that‘s true, although Yves Rocher is a french company, they have so many stores in Spain, even in small cities! I‘ll definitely try this scent :)
Neutrogena Norwegian Formula is my holy grail! My hands get super dry and cracked in the colder months, so I apply it nightly and as needed, and my hands are back to normal the next morning. My mom has sworn by it for years, and now I do as well. That said, watching your video has made me want to try out Aesop or Chanel for a bit of a luxury splurge. :)
During the day, normally any body lotion I have around works well for my hands. But as I'm having to wash my hands so frequently, I had to repurchase the Cicaplast Balm from La Roche Posay I save for my face redness in winter, because I discovered it's great repairing my hands when I sleep and relieves the itching
Another favorite video!! I must always have hand cream with me!! One of my faves is L’Occitane in the regular scent!! Part of my love, I confess is the dreamy scent!
Hi Matilda, LOVED this video! Are you planning on trying out the Fenty Beauty cream blushes. Some of the colours are definitely out there but my personal favourites are 'Petal Poppin' and "Rose Latte'. I think you would like them too.
Thank you Bethany! I've had hundreds of messages about the new Fenty cream products in the last couple of months but I'm not planning to purchase them at this stage - trying to stick to a low buy 👍 x

Matilda LOL! the clip was so quick i literally didn’t even notice. hope you can get you’re hands on it soon matilda. 💖
Hand cream is very touch
Hey! I really like the Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream. I like to moisturize my hands several times a day as they get quite dry but I hate the feeling of slipperiness that some creams leave. This one absorbs instantly and smells lovely
Sounds lovely Anna! 👏 x
Plz give a review of necessaire hand cream
Aveda Hand Relief is a forever favorite hand cream for me.
Thanks for sharing Sarah! 👍 x
There's nothing I dislike more than a feeling of a hand cream on, but your video was so relaxing and interesting to watch 💕💕💕💕
Thank you! All about massaging it in thoroughly so it's mostly all gone ☺️👍 x
My favourite at the moment is byredo Gypsy water~Wanna try the Chanel you recommended❤️
Ooh I bet that's a lovely hand cream! 👏 x
Glad you've found something that helps Grace! ☺️👍 x
Thanks for sharing Subarna! Glad you're a hand cream lover too ☺️ x
i love your videos so much it’s almost like the only bit of calm in my life right now haha!! i was wondering if maybe you are thinking about doing a more in depth review over all of your favorite perfumes (like wear time, price etc)
Thank you Ellie, so nice to hear! ☺️ Definitely planning a video on perfumes in future, but it will be more nostalgic as this is the only scent I've worn for many years x
Matilda aw that would be amazing
you HAVE to get the glossier hand cream! It is amazing!!! It smells like glossier you and has a non greasy feel
You'll see it on my channel soon Chelsea 😉 x
Thanks for the video, I am loving the Go To cream. Looking to find some new faces in this video 🥰
Thank you Stephanie, glad you enjoy that one too! 😄 x
What about the Yves Rocher Mango Coriander hand cream you show at the beginning?
Ooh that one sounds great Rachel! 👏 x
please review the fenty cream blushes
Hope to try them one day Joan, but I'm trying to stick to a low buy. My friend Amanda Z has a detailed review over on her channel! 👍 x
Glad it's working well for you! 👍 x
With all of the extra hand washing. I been applying hand lotion more often than usual. I would love to the Chanel line.
Likewise Vicky, definitely trying to apply hand cream more often to make up for the hand washing! 🧼 x
Your nail color is so shiny today! 💖
Thank you! I think this at-home mani was about 6 days old when I filmed this 😂💅 It's holding up well! x
Love Chanel cream and Caudalie! My Glossier hand cream will arrive in three days, can't wait to try😻😻😻
Hope you enjoy it! 😄 x
I was waiting for this video especially since you reminded me about hand cream on your instagram!!!
Thank you! 😄 It's been on my list for a long time x
the packaging alone of the chanel hand cream would be reason enough for me to buy it, what a cute little egg
I haven't seen anything quite like it! 👏 x
Omg yes I'm obsessed with hand cream it makes me feel fancy
Glad you like it too! 😄 x
Another favorite video!! I must always have hand cream with me!! One of my faves is L’Occitane in the regular scent!! Part of my love, I confess is the dreamy scent!
Definitely need to try it Gina! L’Occitane is getting lots of votes in the comments 👍 x
I love hearing you say „ointment” and i don’t know why lol, it just sounds so nice in that accent!!
Haha thank you! 😄🇦🇺 x
Love your vids can’t get enough 😊❤️
Thank you! 😄 x
