TINA LANDON
ABOUT TINA LANDON: The architect behind Janet Jackson's legendary moves - from the unforgettable video for "If" to the celebrated tour for "The Velvet Rope" - Tina Landon is one of the most iconic choreographers ever to make a mark on the industry. After getting her start as a featured dancer in Michael Jackson's video for "Smooth Criminal", she quickly became a choreographer who is a brand unto herself. Winner of two MTV VMA's for Best Choreography and nominated for seven more, she's collaborated with an incredible array of artists - Aerosmith to Willow Smith and everyone in-between. Joining host Galen Hooks in the Masterclass studio, she talks about how she got her start, reflects on her impressive body of work and reveals what she loves most about dance.

Tina is amazing. Loved when she was working with queen Janet Jackson
She was my dance teacher, we went to the fairgrounds she rocks!
What an incredibly talented artist!! Tina Landon is just an amazing woman, love her work!!
TINA LANDON IS THE SHIT. I DONT KNOW HER PERSONALLY, BUT I HAVE BEEN WATCHING HER WORK SINCE I WAS A TEENAGER, BECAUSE JANET JACKSON IS MY FAVORITE ARTIST. KEEP IT UP. I LOVE TOO DANCE TOO, I CAN FEEL WHAT YOU SAYING. ALL OF JANET VIDEOS AND CONCERTS. I LEARN all THE MOVES. GOD BLESS YOU AND KEEP IT UP.
I think "If" is the ultimate way to define Tina.
tina is the bomb i still remember the entire velvet rope choreography lol.... love her n janet
This woman is priceless... Its always a pleasure working with her. She continues to inspire! Do that shit Tina Landon!!!!!
I took a class from her last year and I will never forget it. She is one of my biggest inspirations :)
Is so weird seeing this side of Tina!!! She just stopped by my house a a couple weeks ago
Julian Green whaaaat??!! Lucky you😍😍. I wanna dance for her one day
had the honor to work with her. What a great woman
NO WAY!!!! What did you work on???
@@cbdances4god wauw thats a long time ago. She was in The Netherlands for a seminar and I was recording it on film.
@@RachidPardoTV Awesome! I had the honor of meeting her at Kelky Konno's Triple Threat Dance Convention! Kelly is from my hometown, and she worked with Janet from 1993-2002 or 2003. Kelly was Jennifer's replacement for the If era, and became a very close friend of Janet's. I also had the honor of meeting Ms. Jackson! She was the sweetest, most humble celebrity I've ever met! (So was Aaliyah!)
I'll never forget when I auditioned for a dance team for sports we did the iconic move from if they do with the arms in the middle of the song. I have always admired you Tina
Tina has played such a key role in choreography I have utmost respect for her. I have always enjoyed Janet's dance videos although I know Tina's portfolio of clients extends way beyond Janet. I like the way she articulates her views and she seems really down to earth and approachable.
I love this über talented lady! So funny, all my favorite videos turn out to be choreographed by her. She is amazing!
It's great to hear from The Great Tina Landon.
Tina Landon sis my favorite choreographer ever!!
She truly is a legend!
The interviewer is the lady from NeYo's "One in A Million" video.
Yeah and she danced with JJ too
Thats just so amazing to listing to u Tina.... i remember when i met u in Monte Carla .. in World Muisc Award in hotel Elevator ....and we had a short talking ...such A energy u have ...
I Just want to say , that i grow up with janet Jackson Velvet Rope..back in the time ,.NO UA-cam ,No Information from outside...only thing that i had was this Dvd velvet Rope Tout Concert, I really learn all the Choreographys from this tour ,really Incredible Work u did on the Tour ,hope to meet u again...
I would love a picture for my students who now admire her, because I speak of her talent at work all the time.
I think Tina is one of the best choreographer is that ever..💋❤️ I love her dance moves I'll be doing them in my living room and my mirrors
L-O-V-E Tina for everything she's contributed to dance & pop culture! (going into "If" breakdown" ;-)
Wil O. She may did the IF routine , but she didn't choreographed the Breakdown, It was Omar Lopez who came up with that iconic Breakdown
cool interview I've always admired Tina London
Such a true legend. Thanks DS2DIO for doing this. Loved it. Love looooove you T! *hugs* Much respect to you.
funny, both worked with Janet. I love Tina!
Still AMAZING !!
Nice personaltiy
LEGEND!!!! I had the honor of meeting this iconic choreographer!!! What was her showshe talked about in this video???
What an inspiring woman!! thanks
Much Love & Respect from MYA & I! Call us Tina! :)
gosh I wish Tina can teach me the Runaway janet choreo. and Oops I did it again by Britney Spears.
dancing is very fun I miss it
Tina is amazing!! But l think her work with Janet is the pinnacle for her. Only because of the chemistry between the two of them, and Janet's ability to give life to her choreography the way no other artist can.
Tinaaaaaa! No choreographer compares
I wonder if Janet and Tina still keep in touch.
Yolandaz NostalgicTv Actually, all Janet's Dancers from all her Eras reunited back in October at the Hollywood Bowl especially Tina
I don't think so, Tina Landon went on to support Wade Robson againt Michael Jackson.
Florentina Islami proof?
Uh no
@@curleddoughnuts6857 Really???
Coming from Oops I Did It Again tutorial :D
She must love the Tiktok choreo era lmao
Jakartaaaaaaa
Pero ella quien era en el vídeo de smooth criminal ?
Wish this was my vocation/life.
And this how I know Tina is my secret soulmate. Everything she says about listening to music to give you the story to people not understanding that not dancing is not an option... That is me exactly. Love you Tina, Always... (hurry up and get divorced) 😍😍😅😅
cool
What do I need to do to get guidance from you?? Real talk!
I need you to start working again with Christina Aguilera! ASAP ever since she stopped working with you it has never been the same!
"Unfortunately, I think people are getting used to seeing crap." YES! I wish we could go back to quality work being the norm. It's so hard to explain to the latest generation why it's important. Who wants to be the creator of a 5-minute fad, when they can be a legendary icon?
Tina was on Smooth Criminal? I can't find confirmation of this anywhere.
she was a small extra.

I had many fantasies about her when I was young and the Rythm Nation Tour was on HBO. Of course I had never been with a girl or kissed a girl at that age so the kiss scene in my dreams was like Dumb and Dumber.
