This video prob wont get lot attention but if i do hardmode it prob bit difficult cause the only way you beat is: 1. enemy will start attack so defend first 2. the enemy will do 2 turn so make sure focus and then defend repeatly until you got sword energy 3. after you got sword energy just use it on venom dagger/sword idk and then def (keep repeat) 4. komodo dragon has ability roar that make it double turn, dont worry it has same effect they do 2 turn to start attacking so keep repeat number 2 5. if low just use use cure / anything that heal 6. that's it (to be fair this floor 29 isnt hard, if you good at counter/block. Anyways goodluck!)
For anyone wondering how to beat it here are some tips [SOLO] Have 25 - 35 HP Minimum Use Rocket Launcher to replace the Ball. For those of you who don't know what the pit is based on it's based on the pit of 100 triangle paper Mario the thousand Year. And I will say it now the paper Mario thousand Year door one is much easier than this one is what I don't want to say. Hopefully as the chapters progress and we get stronger this very much post-game area were supposed to go to after we complete the full game is probably going to be a lot easier
@@wolfovich2282 who knows it might be more or am I stopped at a random number maybe 80 or 90 what does probably going to be a boss if they're going completely truthful to the source material
double thorns makes this fight so immensely easy, cause its not too difficult to read the komodo dragons’ attacks, so you get 3 dmg counters so quickly to the point where they just get vaporized if they attack more than once per turn
I just beat this recently but my build is like the epitome of impractical. So basically I was running a file that never and I mean never upgraded the hp not even once(I had the idea of killing the enemy before it kills you), I got my sp to 15 then I just maxed out my bp. I used launcher with baller and ante up (basic stuff) with happy hp and 3 happy sp. Then I used *5* def up cards and I brought 9 coconut water in. I basically used launcher when the next attack is venom bite(it was easy to block), then I used def up when the Komodo’s used tail smack(I have skill issue). Took me 7 minutes to clear and used 4 coconut water.
i ran it solo with: - ante up (+1 damage) - baller (+1 damage) - rocket (no sp needed, area of effect +spammable) - happy hp (so you can spam moves) - hp+ (15 hp instead of 10) things that i'd add if i wasn't lazy - thorns (really easy great timings) - defend+ (for if you mess up) i only had 15 hp and i ended up doing it with no items, just an occasional ice dagger its worth nothing that ante up on rocket launcher single handedly one of the easiest things in the planet PS: do NOT run charge unless you have 2-3 copies of it. otherwise, it is a waste of a turn since using the launcher twice instead will do more damage. you will only benefit from charge if you have copies from it, since it will increase the splash damage. the way i played the deck: just spam the hell out of rocket to be honest if you struggle with parry timing, just make sure to defend second turn for tail whip aside from that, make sure you don't hard target one komodo dragon, hit one, then go for a different one two to the left/right, and target the one in the middle. rocket is best with groups since if you inflict -1 def on something, the splash damage does 2 damage instead of 1 (which is insanely powerful solo)
Dude floor 29 scared the crap out of me when i first played it, i had like 2 kind of close calls but i pulled thru!!! If anyones struggling with this just remember to keep practicing the counter/ block for komodo dragon, because if you dont you are not beating it
@@Flame-yt6b sword energy is there so that it's actually balanced and we can't just spam using a ton of sp, and if the buff you get after striking first was applied for venomshank it would just make it absolutely busted (especially if you could also stack it with charge). it makes it so that you actually use your other equipment which shows that the developers know how to balance their game to be more fun and actually have you use your brain to win fights.
dang ngl fight was pretty easy. yesterday i was struggling with my party to do 19 and today for fun i decided to try doing 20-29. failed first try on komodo cuz i forgot attack patterns but 2nd try it was so easy lol. i dont even have that good of a build
ngl the Komodo's arent as hard as the statue due to its predictable attack and 1 defence instead of 2 the statue is like quick attack and Lots of health, eventhough it only have 2 attack pattern it still hard due to it quick attack and high damage the only annoying part of the Komodo's are its poison and health ngl it was pain back then in Demo 1 solo pit 19 with hybrid + using sword n Dynamite, no bombs or other debuff for them 🥲
HardMode is probably going to be a lot harder, especially when the window for dodging attacks is reduced. I beat 1 Komodo Dragon in hard mode and it took me some time to beat it. Probably a lot of repeating and being very precise will be required.
You can just try put those 2 new card that similiar Hardmode (Double pain, gusto) so no more dodging window reduce lol but won't be called Hardmode but called modified hard ig
I solo'd aswell, and them using growl only makes it so I could get more Superguards off of them, and Ice Dagger's still better than Venomshank despite no more defence from Ice Dagger. Quick Edit: I was doing a BP only run too lol.
Yep they did and it's not hard (only if good at block/counter) And Yea I also notice that it didn't give armor buff, now you can get it by using pray (RNG chances)

i did the exact opposite of this (i think) and still won

The new sword is kinda op when there is more enemies
But the energy sword makes it some kind bad and you can't really deal additional dmg if you get the " you strike first " buff

NAHHHH they did weezer statues now weezer komodos????
its joever
once on floor 29 my teammates died and i NEARLY WON SOLO AFTER SUPER GUARDING ALMOST EVERY ATTACK
Oh god theres more

I just beat floor 29 at the first try , thorns are too OP
When me and my friends reached floor 29 we locked tf in
Nah the mom and her children were ready to fight

at least hard mode isnt as screwed up as it was… hard mode used to disable superguarding and make you take TRIPLE the damage
bruh i thought 4 griefers or 4 bubonic plants
Why would they ever do that to you fr
That's hell
FYM “bruh”???? That would be way harder
4 bigfoots:
@@Lkrupa there arent 4 bigfoots
weezer room ultrakill???
I'd rather fight 4 bubonic plants instead of this
Bro how did this take you less than 10 minutes???? I had a whole squad (the pit gooners) and took us like 50 minutes tf
To be honest it's my first time to go floor 20-30 lol
Doing solo is actually much easier than squad but still good for squad gain exp
man just equip all 3 thorns currently in the game
I have 5 thorn currently so I never post video about it lol

No, but its nerfed
moved to ch3
Temporarily removed and permanently nerfed

this floor is hell

Theres a card that gives the same armor, and to be honest i prefear hp and sp regen
Anyone know the name of the boss music for the komodo dragon? I for something cannot find it anywhere
They said they'll put it on youtube soon (from the update logs)

just use launcher
