Julianne Hannes Mulan was a man for 90% of the movie...
Julianne Hannes yeah but it's not like her race was erased and she was an animal 90% of the time. There was actual controversy over Tiana being the first black princess and some parents were even boycotting the movie because they couldn't stand the thought of a black princess. Mulan was based on a true story and you can't compare her being a man (which the audience was aware of the whole time and it was still obvious she was a girl) to Tiana being a frog.
