  • Surah Qadr is among the short Meccan Surah present in the last (30th) chapter of the Holy Qur’an. It’s the 97th Surah in the Quranic order comprising of 5 verses. Each verse revolves around the most sacred night of Ramadan “Laylat-al-Qadr (The night of honour)”. In the Surah, it is said that “The Night of Honor is better than a thousand months.” However, the night of honour is kept hidden and Muslims have to find them in the odd days of the last ten days of Ramadan. Numerous commentators believe that the Night of Honor, being hidden away among the nights of the year or in the nights of Ramadan is for the reason that individuals think about every one of the nights as sacred and important, on the grounds that Allah has shrouded His pleasure in a wide range of acquiescence and love so people practice all of them, and He has concealed His rage in erring, all in all, with the goal that they evade a sin.
    Surah Al Qadr Benefits:
As it is comprehended from the name of the Surah, it alludes to the revelation of the Holy Qur'an on the Night of Honor and after that, it depicts the significance of the night and the Blessings consequently. As a narration indicates that the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.W) had a dream that the Ommayides were climbing his pulpit. This was aggravating to the Prophet, to have such a dream, and he detested it. At that point, Surah Qadr was revealed to comfort him.
Accordingly, some predict that the verse: "The Night of Honor is superior to a thousand months" alludes to the time allotment that the Ommayides represented, which was around one thousand months), and we realize that Mosques and podiums were set up and framed in Medina, not Mecca. However, as it was said over, the Surah is known as Meccan and this narration might be a sort of utilization, not an event of Surah revelation.
Holy Prophet (S.A.W.W) stated the significance of this Surah with this Hadith:
"He who recites it (Surah Qadr) will be remunerated like the person who has fasted the entire month of Ramadan and has kept vigil the night of Qadr, (the Night of Honor)."
Another narration from Imam Baqir (R.A) says:
"He who recites Surah Qadr in a loud voice and openly like an individual who battles in the Holy War (Jihad) on the way of Allah and he who recites it hidden like an individual who swims in his own blood for Allah".
