My sister took her book to staples and asked to have it cut 4x6 and the girl cut it into 4 little books 6 inches. Lol. My sister almost started crying. We laughed about it later. You do have to watch them unless you mark it really well. Thank you for sharing. Love your videos.
See! That’s why I was afraid 😊. I think bringing a visual aid like the TN inserts you’re trying to match is important. What is she doing with her four mini notebooks? That could be a fun challenge!
@@KeyLimeInk because some of them didn’t have binding she hole punched for happy planner discs and made little notebooks for work. I had a guy once try to cut the binding end. I was like noooo. Turn the book around. lol. I either put sticky notes with directions , cut here 2 inches off,, don’t cut this part etc. lol, or write on the cover. Taking a sample book is a great idea too. 👍I’ve even cut the expanded moleskine down to an A6 size once. Lol. Thanks again. Looking forward to more. Stay safe.
So I have been watching your channel for about a year now and finally after trial-and-error of buying lose leaf Tomoe River paper(kinda hate it), HP Premium32(my favorite thick paper), Strathmore 24lb cotton wove writing paper(the worst paper ever for writing on, super hate it) and finally broke down and said fine I'm just going to fork over the money and try a stalogy! OMGOODNESS its the best paper ever!! I love it! I even cut it down, that was a bit emotional for me but I'm so happy with I already bought another one. You have been the best at explaining the difference in paper and have been the most accurate in my opinion and I completely appreciate your honesty well explained reviews! I have a few pictures of my stalogy cut down on IG, but of us do right. It was a little scary especially since I did it myself. I hate the whole mask wearing thing. It worked very well the last quarter of the book was a bit hard to keep straight but not too bad. So I welcome us both the the stalogy cut down club. Thanks again!
Does the string cause a lot of wear on the Stalogy? I have a b6 tn and a b6 stalogy and would love to put them together. When i put it on the string i saw it made quite a big gap and made me rethink it. Then i searched your name and stalogy and there you are. I can always count on you. Haha
Awww! Happy to be here in your time of Stalogy needs. 😂 The Stalogy binding is indestructible, so that’s not an issue. Sometimes I move around which pages have the band if the bump is prominent right when I’m using it (about midway through the notebook). I’ll just shift it back like 30 pages to lessen the bump for a while.
Webster's pages website is having a sale on on few of there pink and champagne colored TN covers for $10. I ordered 2 and $34 and some change after shipping; so it was like buying 2 for the price of one on Amazon. Sorry I was able to get you a little kick back but this was too good of a deal, plus they make great gifts as well. I have been looking for one in a bigger size. I have a moterm standard leather cover and my stalogy fits, but its super flush because I cut mine at 4.5 width and so no side taps for that cover. I guess I'm still on the journey to finding what I want and what works for me. Thanks for all your help!
That’s a great deal for the Webster’s Pages cover! I should grab some, as they make great storage for past inserts. Thanks for sharing the sale with us!
Yes! The Stalogy does. So did a Midori MD when I cut that down. Mileage may vary depending on how flexible your TN cover’s spine is, but the notebooks themselves still open flat.
Hmmm. Good question. Could you? Maybe. Should you? Probably not. A hardware store could have a suitable cutting service, but hard covers are made of layers which would be prone to fray unless you coated the cut edges with a sealant like polyurethane. It might be functional but would look pretty messy. My $0.02 :).
Just FYI... I contacted Poromo on when they would be back with these covers and they responded that they were not going to be making them any longer. I was so bummed!
My favorite paper isn’t made in notebooks which fit my planner system. I keep the extra and use it as scratch paper and for testing paint colors as I mix them. No waste. 😊

@@uteh.3659@uteh.3659 The resources for the notebook have already been used, whether she keeps the pieces she cuts off or not. Cutting or saving parts of the paper doesn't change its environmental impact-it’s no different than someone leaving blank pages or not filling every single page with writing. Honestly, this criticism is wholly misplaced and lacks logic. Let’s focus on more meaningful issues instead of nitpicking over something so trivial.

I found a couple of shops on Etsy that cut down Stalogy notebooks

Does it lay flat still when open??
