Creation of dead wood. As trees age some branches will naturally die. They remain as dead wood. In bonsai we do this with branches that are not going to stay in the design, leaving behind dead branches that give age to the tree
Not true, if you check the videos you will see that there are some trees that have been in a second video. It just takes time until I can work on them again. And I sell some too so not every tree will get an update
Hey brother, im a newcommer in this bonsai world, i have question for you. Why did you peel that branch? Is there any specific reason of that technique? Thank you i hope you reply this comment 🙏
Hello, I have a quick question that I hope somebody can help me with.. Can a young juniper survive if there is a ring of bark removed from the base of the trunk? I bought a Chinese juniper (Stricta) from a nursery and while wiring it I accidentally managed to strip basically a complete ring around the base of the trunk, it’s about 1cm high and goes around the whole base of the trunk (😳) I didn’t realise quite how delicate the bark would be and I can’t find much online in terms of what to do.. Will it survive? Should I tape up the wound to stop moisture getting in? Any help is much appreciated!
If it still is alive, wrap the open tree layer in sphagnum moss and plastic wrap to keep it humid. If all goes well it will root from the exposed bark and you can just plant it deeper in the soil.
This is a dope idea but it ended up looking like a college students dorm room xmas tree lol
It will grow in in a few months
Let it marinate

Yes...🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Excellent start for your little Cypress tree 😀 !!
Thanks 😊
What's the purpose of removing the bark?

@@Bonsaifly thanks for the reply. I'm new to bonsai
So cool!
@@Bonsaifly Do the peeled deadwood sections continue to grow in size with the rest of the tree?
@@eklalKueshana-01 no, they’re dead. However they develop cracks and reveal the natural grain of the wood over time, so in a way they evolve too
The sound of the Clippers is like nails on a chalkboard to my ears
You should get that checked out
It should read " cheap plant to pre-bonsai. "
Since the creator is too 'generous' with info.. I believe the plant is called Hinoki Cypress, you're welcome
Thanks for sharing your knowledge
Quick aside, brilliant ad placement
Haha thanks 😄
Hi
Whats the name of this wire?
Aluminium Bonsai wire
You never show us how the plant looks after recovering from all these cutting, trimming and bending.

You create dead wood out of branches that you are not going to keep sometimes. Adds age to the look of the tree

Did you manage to save it?
I was told the best time to tree trim is in spring or autumn, is that the same for creating bonsai?
Thanks for the videos!
Yes! Spring is the best, autumn is the second best
The end kind looks like a lego tree.
Nice plant to prune.
Cheers
Exellent ❤

Just imagine how painful it is for that plant ..put ur self in the same position. Humans are worthless
Just imagine you don’t know that plants don’t have a central nervous system and don’t feel pain like humans and animals. Internet trolls are worthless
lol.. i wonder what other things you think humans are worthless for?
