Thanks! Yes, this lounge is nice. I spent some time there last year when I was flying back to Singapore. It was during evening hours and the lounge was definitely more crowded than what you experienced in this video, but not overly so. The lounge has a very nice outdoor area which was so lovely at night. Looks like I should try to make my way to this lounge in a couple of weeks when I have a domestic flight on United out of Terminal 7!
Thank you! In order to get Star Gold status you need to have 24 PQF, which means qualifying flights along with 8,000 PQP which essentially means spending 8,000 in a calendar year.
@@jpwick987 I’m not sure about Phillipines Airlines, they may be a code share for Star Alliance and you could possibly be able to buy a day pass with their tricker but I can’t tell you for sure.
If I remember correctly I was on an international leg for this, I believe they will only allow you into the Star Alliance lounges if you have an international ticket with Star Gold status but not 100% sure. I will test this next time I’m at LAX on a domestic ticket and let you know.
They do have showers, though I didn’t look at them. I believe you can buy a one-time pass for around 70.00 to get access but it’s only an option if there is room in the lounge.

Yes, if you have the time it’s a great lounge to use!
@@travelintylerstyle ok! I will see whether I have sufficient time to make the hike. Otherwise I will just hang out at United Club.
Excellent review! This lounge looks better than the Centurion. How do you acquire Star Alliance Gold?

did you try Delta Lounge??? that's the best
I didn’t because I wasn’t flying Delta but I will next time. Thanks for the heads up on that.
Do they sell day passes for non member and no flying with Star Alliance?
No they do not
@@travelintylerstyle what about if you Flying with Phillipines airlines

Curious but were you on a domestic United flight when you entered the lounge?

I wonder if taking a shower there before a domestic United redeye would be worth it. Lounge is 1.1 miles from my gate 😭
Yeah, it’s a little too far. I made the walk to the United gate from there and it is worth it if you have a lot of time to work with.
do they have a day pass, and any shower's?

You’re lucky they let u spend 6 hours in there… good video buddy
Thanks bro. I appreciate you.
