    I feel that there is a growing sentiment (at least to some extent in the US) that college isn't worth it - I can absolutely understand that sentiment given the prices now and the turmoil, but I feel that some miss out that College (in the classical sense) makes you more rounded. My degree wasn't philosophy, but I was exposed to many different philosophical ideas that I wouldn't have been outside my college education.😊

      Boethius wrote "The Consolation of Philosophy." De Botton's very similar title is surely a nod to Boethius.
