That I shall. I'll probably throw up a little review after I log some miles on her - spread the word about what a great bike this is. You stay safe as well Ed.
Great review and video! I just picked up a 2011 (my third Honda) and I'm liking it so far. There's a few things I'd like to upgrade on it, but overall it's a nice step up from my '99 vt750 ace. The main thing that I'm trying to do is to figure out how to make / repurpose a bracket for either a sissy bar & rack or a box; without spending $300-400 just for the bracket.
Nice. Still loving the bike, she's actually getting new bars put on. If u want a sissy bar, I'd probably hit up a metal guy and have one custom made...probably cheaper.

What are the differences between the Fury, Interstate, and Sabre? Except for handle bars and fenders they seem to be almost the same. And you're absolutely right, a six speed would make a world of difference. That would give you a lower first gear, and a taller top gear for cruising.
Im actually not sure, to be honest. Great engine, tranny...could simply be innovations and controls. ie, floorboards, bags, heel shifter...I will own another one !
@@edmonddantes3499 Later. Well, I went out a bought a Sabre 1300. I like it a lot, but you're right. It really needs a tach! I've never driven a bike without one, and I'd like to know what RPM I'm running at. Also the lack of a 6th gear really sucks. I'm always trying to shift into 6th gear, and there ain't none on this bike. On the highway, it is running at pretty high RPM, and a six speed would solve that, as well as maybe give you a bit lower 1st gear. I find first gear away too high. You need to feather the clutch a lot at low speeds. I've got the Cobra exhaust that I like, and I took off the full windscreen. I don't like looking through smashed bugs or a smudged plastic windscreen. The little mini screen is just perfect to deflect a bit of wind, and I can see over it. One other thing I switched is the little stubby stock mirrors. I couldn't see people following me. Now with my extended Ape Mirrors I can see everything. Oh, and I installed floor boards, and now I don't have to stretch to reach the pegs anymore. And my wife likes it. She even asked for a ride the other day.

There are laws to lane splitting for example you’re not supposed to do it in traffic moving faster than 30 miles an hour, and you can only go 10 miles an hour faster than traffic as you’re doing it. In California as crazy as the freeways are people are actually used to motorcycle lane splitting so it seems a little safer when the public is aware that it happens all the time. @@edmonddantes3499 I will be picking mine up after my house renovation is done. I’ve ridden cruisers that are a 5600 at 70 mph and that is super annoying. Was hoping for MUCH lower hwy rpm’s
I am having a hard time deciding between this bike and a V-star 1300. The Stateline looks a little cooler But V-Star is belt drive, more power and more comfortable to ride. If you have two bikes in your garage regardless how cool one may be over the other. When you want to go for a nice ride in the country or to a friends house you will most likely choose the one that is the most comfortable and most enjoyable to ride. I have a 2003 VTX1800, very fast and cool; but most of the time I prefer to back out of the garage with my 2001 Honda Shadow Spirit VT1100C.
I really don't think they quit making the 1800 VTX because the engine looks like some other brand, because the 1800 and the 1300 engines look identical. Infact the engine on the Fury looks the same also, so that can't be the reason. You are ill informed. I hear more comments now days about adding a tachometer or gear indicator on bikes and have to laugh. The younger crowd wants all the bells and whistles to do the work for them. That's hogwash. With any experience at all you should know your engine speed from the sound alone. It's a dam V-twin with a rev limiter. You're not going into the red zone if you ride it normally. That's what's nice about Hondas, they're like a Timex watch - They take a licking and keep on ticking! And a gear indicator? Really? You have only 5 gears so you should know what gear your in if you've been riding much at all. It seems like the new riders want everything done for them. It's just like some auto makers are not even making some cars/trucks with manual transmissions anymore because people don't know how or are too lazy to shift them!! (atleast nobody will steal my truck!) What's the world coming to? Shit, they even make touch screens on some bikes now! It's kinda stupid when we're trying to get dumbass drivers to stop texting while driving and now you have to touch a screen on a bike? Stupid to even think of such an option. The age of lane observation indicators , backup cameras and electronic gadgets is getting out of hand. Nobody wants to learn how to do things right for themselves anymore. Everybody wants everything done FOR them. What a joke.
Thank. All small stuff I guess, kinda like buying a car, lol . Exhaust, tint, tune, wheels...u love it but u wanna make it ur own with lil tweaks here and there. 🤙

Not sure the model number but , Google em.
Nice. I'm hoping to find a Star Raider SCL...for ya know, 'mo power 🤘
Hope you don't ride with that beverage in the holder haha....sweet bike BTW
Nope. Its usually my coffee...that was jus for filming...didn't wanna carry it around the whole time. Thanx 🤙
Either you adjust with the times or you get left behind
Is that a speed control tab on the clutch side?
The lil Cramp Buster...yeah, every now and again its nice to jus rest ur hand there. Still on the grip but lets those fingers relax for a bit 🤙
Lane splitting is very stupid. And i love this bike
I don't trust other drivers enough to try it. Thanks 🤙
You do a huge list of things you would change and than say there's not much I would change. Hmmmm ?
Nice bike the way it is.
Thank. All small stuff I guess, kinda like buying a car, lol . Exhaust, tint, tune, wheels...u love it but u wanna make it ur own with lil tweaks here and there. 🤙
Because he's just saying anything, don't think he even knows what he's saying as he's sucking on a cigarette
What heel toe do you have.
Stock shifter...came from Honda like that.
Where did you get the chrome side covers under the seat?
I found em at my Honda dealership, think they ran bout $100, can't remember exactly but...40-50 a piece so, not bad.
@@edmonddantes3499 thank you. Appreciate it.
Edmond Dantes also, nice bike.
Every guy who can’t ride worth a damn says the same thing. “Some guy cut me off so I had to lay the bike down”. Why the fuck would you lay it down? Have you ever heard of brakes? Just asking.
U do the math. At 45-50 mph...how long does it take to stop ? Roughly 145 feet. At Under 90 steps away from me...after dumb fuck acknowledged me and gave me the right of way to "maintain my course"...actually, u know wat...I'm glad uve never had this happen and I hope that ur awesome mastery of riding keeps u from ever being a "rider that can't ride worth a damn" out of someone's door, windshield. Its not fun and it would make ur previous statement Fukin hilarious !
haha u fool not every situation is the same.... always one smart arse about like YOU
More riding please
Well buy a batwing and lights
Getting lights and bars right now actually. Wing , exhaust, filter and tune are next.
“Good Review man, you deserve a ton more likes.” I guess most viewers are quick on clicking on SRK Cycle’s videos who barely talks about the bike and does nothing but yaps his freaken mouth and goes off topic.
Thanks. I tried to cover everything I could and give my honest thoughts on the bike. She's still running strong !
Edmond Dantes “Thank you again my friend, I’m getting mines by the end of this month in Blue. This was definitely a good video to better understand what I’ll be getting myself into, much better than the Fury look in my personal opinion.” Oh and you earned yourself a subscriber!
honda made the 1800 first out of all manu., so how could they have looked like ,
Heard it was basically the shape and look of the V twin...and we all know Honda didn't make the first Twin. Like I said, its jus wat I've heard.
The 1800 engine was totally different, lacking sound and power pulse character that 1300 engine has
ut1004bp Thanks. I've never had the 1800 but everyone I've talked to that's had one says there jus a torque monster,"power for days"...I am though, definitely impressed with the bikes I can keep up with.
Stay with driving your car.
Love my car, but...same goes with it, a couple extra "goodies" help make it urs. Unless of course ur stuck in a stock, white, F150, than, wats the point right ?. Thank God for super chargers and better tires, nicer exhaust, performance tunes... We're all eating the same bugs. Ride safe 🤙
Exhaust is the first thing I'd change, terrible ugly factory Exhaust
Could've definitely spent more time on it. Sometimes, however...its nice not being that obnoxiously loud bike.
The fury is much better looking bike,
I did like the fury...jus had to have bags, can't sport a back pack. I ride every day, sometimes u need a jacket, sometimes u don't, sometimes u wanna grab a 12 pack as well, lol
agree with both comments. need the bags. also, i heard the fury is a longer reach so probably less comfortable. will i have issues with the stateline being 5'6? looking to pick one up very soon.
@@jlee4157 get the fury
@@diningroomfish5470 ill just have to try both. like i said my greatest concern is the reach. i tried sitting on a vulcan years ago and my foot couldnt reach the shifters. but i agree 100% the fury is better looking.
Dam sounds like your trying to convince your self you like it . You spend more time talking about what you wish you had .
More like jus things to do to make it mine...ya know like swapping bars, adding power, highway bars...stuff Every bike owner does. Unless that stock street glide is jus fine as is, lol
False fear. Same dumb dumb can run you slap over waiting in a traffic jam.
You've rambled for 4 and a half minutes a d. Said nothing about the bike
