Estee lauder Double wear is my favourite foundation brand I have a lot of compliments from people .Bronze is my shade too .

Great video! 5W1 Bronze was too light for me too. 5W2 Rich Caramel was too dark and reddish. I had to do a blend of the two. Then they came out with 5W1.5 Cinnamon and it works for me. I use the official EL pump.

Love the video. I have used this foundation on my Third bottle. I was concerned because I have dry skin. I just make sure I moisturized before I apply this foundation.

Most MUAs demo doing eyes first, so the concealer isn't atop the foundation. Thanks for pointing out your experience! I use double wear light.
I think you should try 4w1. They put me in that years ago and it was good for the yellow golden undertones but too dark.
My opinion is the bronze is perfect for you. Why not do a video comparing the bronze and cinnamon? You are beautiful and your personality is too 😊

You popped into my suggested videos. I am liking this foundation too but I use EL serum mixed with it bc of my dry skin. This is the only foundation that matches my skin perfectly but it can be drying if you don’t prep your skin. You are so pretty with out without makup by the way!
I have been wearing this foundation twenty years plus ( Bronze is my shade) I LOVE IT. I have tried other foundations but NOTHING seems to compare to it!

This foundation is so pretty on you. I recently tried it and loved it!! I have been sleeping on this one. I am going to purchase this to use for special events. oh I used my maybelline fit powder with it and it looked great!!!
Thanks hun. I was the same way. Super late to the party but so happy I tried it out. That's how I'm using mine. I'm like this is too good for every day use. We gon pull this out on special occasions.
So I have combination skin and I've tried a boat load of foundations over the years. My last try before this one was M.A.C., which was good for matching my skin tone and somewhat good with keeping me matte but transferred quite a bit. I tried this foundation based on a multitude of skin types and ethnicities to find that not only was the shade good but also the stay ability throughout the day (EVEN WHEN I'M WORKING IN THE SALON ALL DAY), it barely transferred if at all, and my problematic oil spots did not have to be blotted. It more so gave me a dewy look by the end of the day if I had any "oily" spots at all. I was completely floored. I love it and don't mind paying the money for foundation that gets me! ☺️🙌🏾

This is my HG foundation...for concealer I take a pencil brush, dot a bit of the foundation and blend. I've done 3 layers on blemishes and it works as long as you blend well enough.
What do you prefer? Brush or beauty blender? I have to mix two shades to get my perfect color

How do you nourish your skin my skin has been really dry and I haven’t been able to moisturize properly. My make up goes on really rough all the time I use noxema then tone with lemon toner then cerve moisturizer but I’m missing something
This is my FAVORITE foundation. To prevent it from having that super matte finish I use a small amount of my face cream before applying

It looks perfect on youalthough your own skin is naturally pretty.
I didn't even finish the video, but I have to comment. This foundation is out of this world. I have very oily skin. I apply moisturizer, a matte sunscreen and this foundation.
It is soft, blends beautifully, no need for powder, it stay, it gives a skin like finish when it mixes with my oils, which it also holds, it stays (used it once from 6PM to 10PM with one blotting along the way) so it has low transfer AAAAAND It is the ONLY foundation that I have a perfect shade in 4w2.

I love that one. I just dont have a winter shade. It is worth the price tag. I am 5w2 in the summer. Im thinking 5w1.5 (I swear that's a new shade lol)
Yes! So worth the price and I don't say that about many high end foundations but this one was worth it!
Try it with the born this way multiuse concealer or the nars radiant concealer. I didn't have any issues with those

I am not surprised at all that you like Estee Lauder Double Wear.
I LOVE this foundation so much. It stays on forever. I have worn it 16+ hours and it still looked fresh. I have yet to use a better foundation.
I am running out of it. :( The bottle stays on it's side to get those last bits out more easily.
I may not repurchase it for a while to FORCE myself to use my neglected foundations because this one is expensive. I don't know if I can hold out, but I am going to try.

You have a really golden undertone. 5w1.5 will be a tab bit too red. I'm gold towards the inner face and red around the edges of my face, my neck is a darker. 5w1.5 is my color.

Sis, I have a challenge for you in this foundation series. Can you do some powder foundations in here for folks like me who never wear liquid foundations? I'm a cover fx lover but open to other ones that give a good coverage and good for oily skin. NO ONE does powder...please help a sista out.

Cinnamon will be your summer shade, it is darker and warmer than 5w2. I have to mix 5w1 and 5w2, 5w1.5 is my summer shade.
I think so too. I went back to Ulta to swatch them again and it was a bit too dark for me now.

Estee Lauder does have a pump for those. I get mine from Macy's. I wear that brand and love it. But yeah they do have a pump..

Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless because it gives a matte finish but doesn't make my skin super dry.

Try going to an Estée Lauder Counter, they can match you with their machine and give you a sample to try. There is FOR SURE a color for you!

Tart and Estée Lauder is a huge no! If you do use tart you gotta use a Estée Lauder moisturizer/cream.
