When Munya pointed out that the Rorschach inkblot was his silhouette, I had to go back and check that the others also had their own inkblot portraits. Nice attention to detail!
The props department seems to work really hard for this show. Just think about all the things contestants break that they have to replace for the next contestant.
Just checked, and yes, they changed that overhead Rorschach image for each interview to match the profile of the respective contestant. Absolutely mad.
I will always be grateful for Taskmaster introducing me, every single series, to fantastic comedians and comedic personas that I hadn't heard of before.
I agree! I live downunder and didn't know some of the celebrities in different series but by the end of their season, I felt like I knew them really well and not one of them disappointed me. I find this when I watch other countries Taskmasters as well. I enjoy the NZ edition and know very few of the comedians on that, but again, by the end they feel like long lost friends I'd be happy to reacquaint with in the future. Great show!
Wow, I adore these interviews. They're a great showcase for both Alex's lowkey comedy and the personalities of the contestants. You really feel more intrigued by them right away, whereas for each series it typically takes me half of the episodes to start really liking the contestants.
I had to go back to the previous interviews to confirm that they all have their faces in the rorschach profiles. That's amazing. And incredible that only Munya has noticed it.
I feel like you could present this lad with any subject whatever and he'd have sonething interesting to say and an anecdote to back it up. Love his energy!!
@Nick Gur "listen mate, there might be documents, photographs, corpses, military records and thousands of first hand accounts on the holocaust, but this right wing bloke with a podcast reckons it's all nonsense so I'm going with that"
These interviews were presumably fiendishly designed by Alex to create tension and awkwardness for comedic purposes. All others have fallen victim to his plan, to our amusement, admittedly. Munya, however, was smoothly riding the waves of Hornian absurdity.
Aaah, reminded me to check your channel out. Just lined up 22 tabs to get me going on what looks like will be another allnighter. Big up the Norfolk marndem.
I don't know much about Munya (but I think he had a delightful episode of the Off Menu podcast IIRC) but I can't wait to watch him in this series of TM! Also, I now want him to become life long pal of Alex Horne.
Dara's profile was in the ink blots too! I couldn't quite make out what was there during Fern's and John's interviews though. Something to do with my childhood I think...
I noticed the wandering Greg-clown picture in the series, but without Munya I never would recognize (...se) the contestants' profiles in the Rorschach pictures.
Very endearing interview! Here's hoping that the site picks up the pace of series uploads so viewers in the states can be more in synch with TM happenings in the U.K. Thanks for the interviews. I've enjoyed each of the 4 that I've seen.
@@Unit312J fyi people have mentioned in these comments in the past that Firefox (or some other browser) had a built-in free vpn. Feels like the sort of thing that The People's Taskmaster podcast would do. I think that's what it's called* (if it's still going). I've never listened to it and just stick with the main Ed Gamble hosted one, that's enough for me. *Just scrolled down the Ed Gamble Acast episode list as I remembered they promo'ed it via his podcast. I was almost right: "Taskmaster: The People's Podcast" (whereas his is "Taskmaster The Podcast" )
The look on Alex's face when Munya said "legend" after his name is heartwarming.
When Munya pointed out that the Rorschach inkblot was his silhouette, I had to go back and check that the others also had their own inkblot portraits. Nice attention to detail!
same!
This attention to detail will serve him well in this competition
I get the feeling Alex was a bit miffed he talked about the inkblot profile.
same here, i'm convinced munya is a genius
The props department seems to work really hard for this show. Just think about all the things contestants break that they have to replace for the next contestant.

Astonishing catch by Munya
Maybe he was the first one, and they made it a thing.
you eagle eyed viewer! thank you
@@OP-1000 that doesn't make any sense
I noticed it on Dara's, I thought it was just a coincidence.
"If you had a nose that was upside down, you would drown every time if rains"
WOW didn't expect these words of wisdom today
I need to get that in some nice font and frame it!
That was my favorite part of the interview! 😀
You'd actually only drown the once.
He has reached Johnny Vegas levels of wisdom.
alex has to look away so he didnt laugh lol
Glad that Munya recognises the uphill struggle he faces because Greg hates youth
i am now 100% on team Munya and i would watch an entire program of just Munya and Alex talking
Munya should have his own chat show, he'd be great!
His episode of "Off Menu" podcast is absolutely brilliant!
@@richardlyth He's on C4's Complaints show which is, sort of, a chat show.
@@TheAxelBrownfffffffdh dł
I feel like he needed to be bullied more as a child tbh
“Let me tell you about bubblebath” this is going to be a long one lmao
yeah, but what's gonna get you more likes? SPEED or a lengthy chat about bubble bath?
I want to hear the rest of the story about the Lion King ice cream
"I hate those people."
you have to do the jazz hands
Yes please
The fact that most contestants jump on board bullying Alex makes it extra endearing when they decide to be friends instead.
He’s the anti-Acaster.

They have a secret handshake I love this show.
Jazz hands at the start of bubble bath is absolutely essential
I've never heard anyone else talk about it, but it's absolutely spot on
I love how he just calls him Mumby
I will always be grateful for Taskmaster introducing me, every single series, to fantastic comedians and comedic personas that I hadn't heard of before.

If you had a nose that was upside down, you would drown every time it rains.
I had to go back to the previous interviews to confirm that they all have their faces in the rorschach profiles. That's amazing. And incredible that only Munya has noticed it.
This makes me think that he may actually find the secret hints and whatnot. Can't wait to find out.
Munya just seems like a pleasant fellow. And I appreciate any man with strong and correct opinions about bubble bath.
Every sentence is too good. When Munya says "When people make bubble baths" Alex muttering "If" under his breath is just pure "hyappiness" inducing.
big if
I started cracking up at that "if". Perfection.
I feel like you could present this lad with any subject whatever and he'd have sonething interesting to say and an anecdote to back it up. Love his energy!!
Yes, but it will certainly involve Zimababwe ... or Norfolk.
Holocaust could be a rough one
@Nick Gur Because your delicate ego can’t handle truth?
@Nick Gur "listen mate, there might be documents, photographs, corpses, military records and thousands of first hand accounts on the holocaust, but this right wing bloke with a podcast reckons it's all nonsense so I'm going with that"
Munya is 100% about bubble bath, you have to put in the work with your underwater jazz hands. I learned this as a kid and it changed my life.
Pour it in the same place as the running water when you first start running the bath. Loads now bubbles. No jazz hands needed.
No idea what to make of this series coming in, but Munya might be my favorite, based on this interview.
Same, especially after listening to the Off Menu podcast with him
John Kearns is also a strong contender. Low key, rambler.
They all seem to be perfectly lovely to me so far! 😁 What a great bunch.
Munya is such a good Yes And’er
What a gem Munya is! Adorable man
These are the best contestant interviews to date. Though Bridget's walk last series was also hilarious.
Bridget made me cry laughing in her interview. Tough to beat.
I dunno, Catherine Parkinson's increasing levels of identity crisis or the "I've got a question.......FOR you" are near the top.
The most coherent and fluid interview. Munya is an excellent talker.
"Making people smile, Alex." Well damn he's doing a good job in my opinion.
I love how chill, relaxed and kind Munya is and as a North African i admire his love of beautiful Zimbabwe.💙
Is he from Zimbabwe? I had no idea!
We need a series with Hugh Dennis, Guz Khan, and Munya Chawawa, it would be a Hugh-Munya-Guz opportunity.
such a wise and lovely human
He is neither of those things.
He is so right about the bubble bath. Gotta do those jazz hands 👐
Even his bubble bath agitation technique favours flair over speed
Or, at LEAST pour the stuff into the flow of water
That one was my favorite, he absolutely killed it.
1:31
"Snooker? Holes."
"Inappropriate? Holes."
That made me laugh more than it should have 😂😂
I feel like Munya’s gonna be really strong on the art tasks like Noel Fielding :))
I feel like you could ask or tell munya anything and he would be really invested
Best response to the "0 - 1 million" question yet
So on brand 💯
love that he was the only one that noticed his face in the ink blots on the the wall. i had to check the other videos, they all had one!!
I love that he is the only one who recognize Alex as a legend!
Thanks to Munya, we can once again appreciate Alex's feeling for detail - the Rorschach tests...
Munya is so observant damn I would never have noticed the Rorschach test with the contestants faces on it!
Goes to show you can be handsome, charming, smart, funny and sporty and still very, very odd.
LOL, Odd doesn't discriminate.
Yeah it's maddening
Yeah Alex is great.
These interviews were presumably fiendishly designed by Alex to create tension and awkwardness for comedic purposes. All others have fallen victim to his plan, to our amusement, admittedly. Munya, however, was smoothly riding the waves of Hornian absurdity.
I think I just fell in love with Munya; what an absolutely chill dude he seems to be 🥺💞 Bless him
NGL, I had never heard of Munya before this season of TM, but he's hilarious! Lovely guy!
Go listen to his episode on the Off Menu podcast. He's a character and a half!
his political satire is great, well worth a watch!
Only like this if you do jazz hands in your bubble bath.
You've got great eyebrows munya
Aaah, reminded me to check your channel out. Just lined up 22 tabs to get me going on what looks like will be another allnighter. Big up the Norfolk marndem.
I've been excited about Munya being on the show since his episode of Off Menu, he's wonderful
I think a lot of people are going to learn about Munya from this series and love him. He's so funny, definitely rooting for him in this series! 🤣
I don't know much about Munya (but I think he had a delightful episode of the Off Menu podcast IIRC) but I can't wait to watch him in this series of TM!
Also, I now want him to become life long pal of Alex Horne.
Liking Munya more and more.
2:53 before our first mention of Zimbabwe, that's good going
My favorite bit from these is Alex addressing the contestants with their name exactly as they've provided it, and thus far nobody having caught on.
My favourite was with John Kearns when he kept leaving a gap between the first and second name
Ngl, this is the first interview I've watched. I picked a good one and I about to marathon the rest!
Oooooh 999k subscribers. That nose answer was genius btw
Dara's profile was in the ink blots too! I couldn't quite make out what was there during Fern's and John's interviews though. Something to do with my childhood I think...
Spot on about bubble bath! You have to do the work. People who just pour it in and let the water do the work are savages
I loved every one of these interviews. Maybe I loved this one slightly more? They really mesh so well together.
Munya is going to be the Taskmaster champion "In our hearts"
"Well, I haven't got any taller..."
Perfect response 😍
Good to see he also mentioned Zimbabwe on this task as well
Oh, multiple times too haha

I watched the other four interviews first and knew right away Munya would be the only one to notice his own face in the inkblot
Nothing can bring him down. He should sell a fragrance or something, confidence personified.
gotta go to the pharmacy to pick up my "anger ointment"
