I love the statement...”you can touch someone with the Anointing until all the hair comes off their head”...nothing...but others in a group by FAITH just comes with expectations and will receive...I have watched this for over 30 years...I at first during my early years of being Born Again have witnessed this..Amen. To Be Spiritually minded is life and peace ....to be carnally minded is death...Hallelujah

That picture from '88 was epic... if you and Weird Al Yankovic had side by side pictures, I think you could be brothers :)
This is meant in a manly, Christian love though, not badly... just found it very humorous! Love you Perry!!

If the faith of the person being prayed for has to be active and present at healing then how are the dead raised when they are absent

That funny but true. What Faith Can a dead person have he is dead and unconscious of nothing.
What mechanics of the Lord brings the dead person back?

Patrick Porco the praying person’s faith is what strengthens the annointing to raise the dead.

A lady said to me, you talk about God, but I can't believe in any God, as her son is only 5 and is so sick he may die, I have her anointing oil, told her have a man of great faith go pray over that child, and never blame God for the evil work of the devil, she is still athiest, but I asked her a couple years later, I asked did the child survive, she said yes the doctor found the problem, I asked did you give the mother my oil and did anyone pray over him, she said yes the hospital prayed for him and used the oil, and his Mom said to thank me, but in her eyes, I saw a woman blank to any possibility prayer and anointing could have helped the child, but all souls must discuss that at their end

Pure Gnostic Christos teachings. I thank you though for this. I just came to the understanding of why the epitaph Christos is used instead of Messias. I did not understand why a nickname was used. I now see it is to sell Gnostic Christos. To sell the Gnostic pagan religion to what were Jews.
Change a couple of things and this lecture would be well received in a Gnostic Church.

Messias also means anointed but anointed by a Jew in Greek. Christos means anointed into their pagan Gnostic/Mithra worship. The Gospel of John is clear that they found the Messias but called him Christos. Who in hell was the one calling him Christos not Messias. I say it had to be someone from Hell. John never explains who changed the name. In the KJV it even lies that this was an interpretation. No both are Greek words. The second time it just says called Christos. By whom? No good person would take the righteous Messiah and change it to the Gnostic Christos. Which had specific religious meaning going back to Nimrod.
By they way the word Messias is a Greek only word. Why do they not use the correct English word Messiah in so many versions? Why are they hiding this change?

      Greek word Messias.
      Greek word Christos.
No interpretation involved. John was written in Greek originally. But both words are Greek. They are selling Gnostic Christos as the Jewish Messiah.

Only Christos is Gnostic. Messias is not. There is no good reason to retitle the Messiah is that is who he was. There is a big reason if you are taking the story of some man and making him into a Christos to fit your religious belief.
Gnostic means knowledge indeed and Gnostic belief is all about gaining knowledge and becoming more or less God in and of yourself. They see Christ as someone who was able to do this and pave the way for the rest of us to gain this power to be God ourselves. To them Christ was the Messiah as he fulfilled Gnostic beliefs that long predated him called Christos. Their belief is at least consistent. It has nothing to do with the Old Testament. Thus no need to lie about prophecies being fulfilled that were in no real way fulfilled.
To them Christ went to Egypt and the far east to gain the knowledge that allowed him to become a God. To even have the power over death. The ultimate in Christos belief.
They do not skip 30 years they have the full story of Christ. Far more believable than the New Testament if looking at it objectively. I never understood when I believed in Christianity why we knew nothing of Jesus except one week in 29 years. We know a little of his infancy. Then a week at age 12. This is a horrible story to believe if you just look at it objectively. A man lives 31 years but only a bit more than a year is told of. He just arrives out of nowhere really. He is not trained to be a Prophet instead a Carpenter yet is the greatest Prophet ever. There is no logic in this story. People believe solely by faith never examining the story objectively.

It means that Christ proved a man could become a God. Thus the First of many. Also the Last because as First Christ holds the key.
Personally I do not buy Gnostic belief or the New Testament belief. I believe only in the Old Testament anymore. But only gave up the New Testament about two months ago. I do though believe that Gnostic do have some truths just as I believe the New Testament has truths within it. Evil uses truth to deceive. I search for the truth and reject the evil parts presented. The Old Testament is my key. Well and my personal relationship with Yahuwah El Elyon.
Even evil I do not see as evil. Not as Christians define evil. I see it as the Jews do. Another side of Yahuwah. I as they believe that Yahuwah controls all things even evil. Thus I see Satan as righteous not evil. Although Lucifer is evil along with the Fallen Angels. But even they are controlled by Yahuwah by rules he sets. They are only allowed so much leeway.
In reference to the direct question. I believe that the truth in the New Testament had to come from a real Prophet. Joseph writes of three who came and warned Israel of the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple. We do not have those writings. I believe some of the New Testament though are those writings because the Gnostics who wrote the New Testament saw them as a way to destroy Judaism once and for all. So I believe much of John 14-17 and parts of all of John. The point being Yahshua or whoever this man was wrote that He would become a part of Yahuwah and that he came out of Yahuwah. That I believe. I believe Yahuwah is One God but that that One God is infinite. The Old Testament is clear no matter where we go Yahuwah is there. Three angels spoke as Yahuwah. Three. The Image of Yahuwah was a man and a woman. Thus is God. God is all who have become a part of God throughout all time. An infinite number none of whom are God but all of them together are God. God is thus infinite not a single personage at all. Spirits can all unite as one and that is what Yahuwah is. The unification of all Holy Ones. So I believe it when Yeshua prays for us all to be One with the Father. When he tells the Apostles they will be One as he is to be One.
I just do not believe all the Gnostic teachings of man in the New Testament. Thus no Baptism. No Melchizedek. The Old Testament is clear to me on him being the evil King of the Kings Abram killed. It is clear he paid Abram a tenth trying to not lose it all. Clear that he praised Ba'al El Elyon not Yahuwah El Elyon. Though of course he was not stupid enough to use the name Ba'al. He just left it unclear which El he served. Abram did not leave that unclear.

Most of you second post I answered before reading it.
What is God's endgame. Easy. Messiah will come and rule in Jerusalem forever as King of Israel which will expand and expand until it fills the entire earth. This will take forever meaning until God ends it but forever to us with small lifespans. Billions or even Trillions of years. Eventually all the earth will be such that the lamb and lion will have no ire. All will eventually accept Yahuwah with a new heart. We will come back and back till we know Yahuwah. Each time with a more pure heart but no memory or our previous lives. Each time as a human of course. In the image of our God. Resurrection is not limited to once. Actually this should be clear Prophets raised the dead but they died but they will come back for a third life. The New Testament has Yeshua raising the dead as well. Each raised would have at least three lives. The Bible simply does not say we will have only two chances to know our God. The Old Testament paints the end times nothing like the New Testament.
Well Daniel 9-12 sort of does but that came from a named angel not from God. To me named angels are fallen angels.
