Taping an envelope is way easyer to catch stuff from drilling a hole. I do maintenance and repair for a living and use the envelope trick some times on a daily basis. You can also fold paper in a pinch and tape it below the hole. All you need is a place stuff can fall into and stay put.

Only last one is good. Sometimes it's very difficult to cleans this dust like behind sofa bed etc. And it's not possible to a professional to carry a plastic sheet aur bed sheet to cover your sofa, beds table etc. And why should he do?
Drill manufacturer should provide this kind of dust collector with some improvementa etc.

The knife sharpener one in the beginning does not work. Seince most kitchen knives are made out of steel that is typically hardened and regular nuts are not hardened steel.
Do not do this to your knives. It will ruin them.
Last one is super
Even if your time is free, the real tools you are trying to make with these hacks are cheaper then the new part you use including the glue & hot glue gum. many are $1.00 or less at the store.

I was waiting to see the toothbrushes flying through the air. These people think hot glue is the answer to glue everything. PS- he didn't even clean the jar but just mixed the solution.
In addition to the cost of the toothbrushes, he is t risk of destroying the chuck of that drill - water and steel= not a good combination.

You pretty much know it's going to be a crap idea when they break out the glue gun.
If anyone would take the Batterie driven drills and glue guns away from a lot of these people now a days they will not be able to do anything. All this glued stuff will fall apart after being used three times anyway. Why do all these people always have such crappy music playing?
