The medals she has on from (our left, her right shoulder) left to righ: 1: Légion d’Honneur (French Legion of Honor) 2: Karađorđe star with swords (Serbian) 3: Légion d’Honneur (French Legion of Honor) (yes, she had 2 of them) 4: French Croix de Guerre with the Gold Palm 5: Miloš Obilić, (Serbian, the Medal for Bravery or Courage) 6: Karađorđe star with swords (Serbian and yes, she had 2 of them) 7: Russian Cross of St. George 8: British medal of the Most Distinguished Order of St Michael Here is some extra info I got when I asked about the medals, since the "same" medals had subtle differences in appearance. I took that to mean they were diffrent "levels" and this was the answer: "Medal number 1 is the lowest class of the legion of honor (knight) and number 3 is the next class (officer) as for 2 is the silver (knight) and 6 is the gold (officer)" "She died in the October of 1973, and was buried in a family mausoleum up to 2013. Then after 40 years, her remains were brought to the Alley of the Greats, where all Serbian distinguished citizens and war heroes are buried and where Milunka had always belonged." - Her story was lost and forgotten but she is now recognized for her deeds and celebrated as she always should have been. Not in the video (but she apparently had (at least) these too): * Albanian Retreat medal * 1913 War medal *She was awarded her 3rd Karađorđe star with swords posthumously, when her remains were transferred to the Alley of the Greats in Belgrade in 2013
WOW! Thank you so much for break that down!!! This is why I appreciate y'all so much, because of the in depth breakdowns I get from you!! If I don't reply right away, I apologize, but I do try to respond as quickly as I'm able. Thank you again for this detailed breakdown

And that's the bass player Pär that hands her the flag. Sabaton sometimes put themselves into the animated story videos. The First Soldier animated story video is another video where everyone except for Joakim, the singer appear.
Not knowing how familiar you are with Sabaton, I still want to welcome you to the rabbit hole that is Sabaton. If you keep on this path you will find out some really good music and videos. (Try 'No bullets fly' the animated story video or if you prefer a live performance, check out 'En livstid i krig' live from the Great Tour in Gothenburg. Its in Swedish but use the subtitles, it is worth it) If you want to learn more about the event in the song, check out their official Sabaton History Channel. Good reaction!
As an American veteran, you'd really appreciate the tribute Sabaton did to Alvin York (82nd all the way) and Audie Murphy (To hell and back).Screaming eagles too for their contribution in WWII.
@@halosandheroes there is a lyric video and an official live video from the great tour in stuttgard. Either way you'll be having a sabatonagasm for sure! Also follow up with the mini doc on the Sabaton history channel.
I appreciate the suggestions. As you know, I may not get them right away, but I get them when I can. Thank you for being here and continuing to be supportive!
