The dinosaur guy is Prickle, if I recall correctly. Sigh. I can remember watching Gumby and also Davey & Goliath before church on Sundays waaaaay back in the 60s. Such loveable characters. Mr. Art Clokey was a creative genius.
All of the 80s Gumby episodes used this synth music. The redubs of the 50s and 60 shorts also used the synth music, as Art Clokey lost the rights to the Capitol Hi-Q stock music used in the original shorts (there were a few exceptions, though, such as if there was no copyright for the stock music).
At 2:38 as Mrs. Gumbah closes her eyes, the man sitting next to her snatches some popcorn from her lap. That was funny!
This is a surreal watch, for a number of reasons.
Prickle said they will see the most amazing animal---well, I think Prickle is the most amazing animal :)

And of course pretty innovative he have done when he started in the 1950s.
Ya, thanks for all these - - this is a Gumby fan treasure trove
R.I.P Art Clokey
I loved his work, I grew up to it(even though I was born in 1991)
3:53 groucho.. .lol
def didn't pick up on that as a kid
Clokey studied Zen Buddhism, traveled to India to study with gurus and experimented with LSD and other drugs.
Now they just needed the "William Tell Overture" playing underneath Denali shooting the apples on Gumby's head into applesauce.
Art Clokey, gone but not forgotten!
thanks i appreciate i remember renting every episode on vhs when i was a kid in the 80's gotta love the blockheads too...those wacky bastards
Matoro's Legacy saga Gumby's side quest: *Kickin' the Blockheads of ball.*
so gumby had a crazy expandable beetle and minga basically just did some cartwheels
All this after Denali's mother dies and Denali winds up being adopted by Gumby's family.

It's a shame that Edler the Dinosaur found & brought by prickle wasn't seen on this episode.

It would’ve been funnier if he said “say the secret woid”
I remember Gumby when I was little. I'm 20 year old now.

What's up with that guy? look at he's facial expression :D 5:44
Uberhaxornova :)
I'm looking for Gumby with the original soundtracks. I hate the new music.
