It seemed like fez was gonna possibly start living a regular life since he was falling in love with Lexi and all those conversations he had with her on the phone about the future, but if you’re living a criminal life doing a lot of crazy shit that will all come back to bite you in the ass and there will be no other consequences except ending up dead or in jail for the rest of your life.

@@Tiff92_ I've thought about this too, since he was shot off camera, it's technically up in air if he's actually dead or not, so they could possibly bring him back to fill that gap, however it would very difficult to give him a storyline that's actually meaningful to the rest of the series, since he was only a supporting character to Fez and no one else. He pretty much stayed in the house for the most part and didn't have any friends or a social life for his age. So the writing would have to be very creative and beneficial to at least two other characters if they bring Ash back.
