I remember getting so far into this game, getting the white robe of Adanos and just blasting my way through orcs to eventually get to the fire monastery in the north, snowy area. Those were good times.
You can Quick loot a mob or an unlocked chest by right clicking it You can Quic-pick-up items by pressing the sneak button and left clicking the item IT SAVES A LOT OF TIME :D On some versions it might not work, but i think that on community patch (1.75 or higher) it works (not 100% sure tho) But you can try it :D
oh the nostalgia! I would like to replay this one day. The fighting was painful though and I always hated how the enemies turned into weightless floppy ragdolls after dying 😅

exit the cave after defeating all those monsters, go to closest hut - voila, a smith! talk to head ork, defeat in duel, demand slave for yourself. lead kliffy to reddock and voila, quest done. efficient playing.
Have you already tried to play with the Alternative A.I. checked? I've played yesterday and this first battle was waaaay too harder... There was always two or three orcs following me, I couldnt back attack almost no other orc because of this. I had to lure and kill 4 or 5 orcs out of the city to kill cause there was too much orcs inside. I used almost all my potions. I was attacked even when the orcs was defending, they changed focus to me... It was hell, I was hiting and running all the time... Got me almost 3h to do that. But a made it... I was playing in Hard mode too. And the only difference to your gameplay was that... But your gameplay was veeeery easier.
@@WhiteLocks I still don't understand why Piranha Bytes's game quality always fall after the second or the third of their series. Risen 1 is so good, I mean the control, it feels good. Risen 2 control is meh, kinda ok. But Risen 3 is a nail in the coffin for this series to me.
It looks laggy as well.. it isn't as smooth as Risen 1 or Gothic 2. I just don't feel this game. Before I played Gothic 2 I played this one.. I did like the game back then. But then I did find some patches to run Gothic 2 at higher resolution and some fixes I wasn't aware of. And after that I played Gothic 2 way more than 3.. finished 2 like 10x times.. and went back to gothic 3.. it was horrible. I can't play it anymore
Only by using learning points, there are some other things that increase some of the stats, but main way to increase all stats are learning points, which you get on each level up :)
@@WhiteLocks that means since you can get infinite level ups it is possible to get 2147483647 in all stats but that would take more than a live time and it can stay lower since only certain events and learning points increase that. If by any chance the value get higher than 2147483647 it get's -2147483648 and you deal damage in the - healing all enemies and getting one shot having no hp.

Ah I see why i quit the game all those years ago. I didn't loot the whole village lol. Didn't realize this was supposed to be your town now and you own everything ... that probably stopped a lot of players huh..
Alternative Balance is a good option, that limits the progression, so you can't become ultimate Magical Thieving Warrior Hunter at the end of the game. Alternative A.I. is a dogshit option, since it's not just alters the A.I. (in a better way, actually), but it also changes how blocking works in a very dumb and buggy way. It also gives a rage ability to all animals, so you can't stagger them after a few hits. And it's also very buggy and makes the game unplayable for a melee character.
Well i prefered gothic 3 ending because to be honest both gothic 1 and gothic 2 had disappointing end game boss fights. i.e in gothic 2 with paladin i killed the skeleton dragon with 2 hits with the kill undead or what was the name of the rune. Although i f***ed up gothic 3 when i started to play as i kept liberating cities after cities and after 3 i think they attacked me at sight so i couldnt make more quests with orcs and orc occupied cities.
@@frostseele no. If you liberate 3 towns occupied by orcs including the starting town every other orc controlled town will be hostile by default. So you have to keep your cool with killing the orcs in the cities until you explore the whole middle land section.
@@frostseele I think the original idea of the game was to make possible a peaceful cooperation between orcs and humans which is still possible if you play neutral.
I spend 3 real life days figuring out how to clear the orcs in the first village, what a time to be alive back then.

Can't stand those fighting animations, I feel like it lacks some sort of strength in it. Just like Risen 2 - 3.

¿is it possible to bypass this by using the amnesia spell? making npcs forget about you and thus go back to normal
