My favorite active line disc is the magician. It is stable on the first 3-4 rounds but quickly beats into a flippy fairway. Once you get it to the point it flips, it’s money. It has enough stability to do some big s turns and it reliably fades out at the end of the flight. I have 2 of them in different stages of wear. One that flips, and one that is straight to stable.
Hey Luke, if you end up not liking the cookie, you may also give the Evader from Dynamic a try. It’s been my go to fairway for that slower straight to overstable shot.
Throw a gateway element in diamond plastic. I lost my super beat up reliable z line buzzz. I ended up finding an element out playing and I haven’t bought a buzzz since. Such an underrated mid range
I think you way underrated the FD3. it may be personal preference, but i love the FD3 much more than the firebird and the raptor in that overstable fairway slot. Its a more consistent run and it is a solid middle ground between not overstable enough and too meat-hooky. yes there are other things like it, but id argue its the best at what it does
Clash is fabulous! I found the Cookie to be a little more overstable than the Instinct, and the hand feel is so good! The Soda too…just got one last week.
@@davepalmer9265 why does the name matter? I guess I like them I part because of the silliness. They are excellent discs and truly great plastic. The feel in the hand is grippy but so smooth.
@@jonathanbrink3252 obviously the name has no direct impact on flight. For some reason the name does have an impact on a disc im more willing to try, the silliness has a negative impact for me personally. I also don't throw much prodigy because the naming system doesn't make sense where discmania's lettering system does.
Right on. We each have our own approach. Perhaps someday you’ll get your hands one. I only have the Cookie in my bag, so I’m no expert or huge Clash fan. I am impressed though so far by what I’ve tried. I’m all over the place with brands, but I’m a sucker for Thought Space especially. Great discs and great art on the stamps. Good art gets me every time.
Discmania has had the most inconsistent lineup of discs and plastics. I bag their old 7/6/-1/1 fd. But yeah they dont even make that now. I guess it is easy to just never but their discs anymore
I agree with everything but the FD. It deserves the Swanky status, right under the essence. I actually bag both. Also, the FD2 is a great disc. Same category as the instinct but a touch more overstable.
I don't think the PD2 or MD5 are available yet. They would have to be throwing old Innova versions of those molds. These all look to be molds you can buy off the shelf and throw today. I agree with the Link though. I prefer it to the P2 for putting.
I'm surprised you guys didn't include/throw the MD3, it's the only other one I would have included. Great video also!!!
Active line - The Genius is SOOOOOO much fun !!!! --- haha, while i write this, its finally mentioned !!!

I absolutely love love my enigma!!!! Haven’t tried the cd1 but now I want to lol
razorclaw3 and the md1 is sooo good
My favorite video you guys do! Please do more!
I bag a few DD3s and a Cloudbreaker + a DD1. I would definitely throw my mystery box Enigma over water lol
Let’s Go! Thanks for doing what I commented on the MVP Discs ranking.
Hey Luke, if you end up not liking the cookie, you may also give the Evader from Dynamic a try. It’s been my go to fairway for that slower straight to overstable shot.
Method and Enigma above the FD 😂🤣
I haven't thrown most of these but the explanation is very helpful. Can't wait to see who gets the bag and discs, so many good discs and great bag
The MD3 is definitely missing.
As is the P1, the Mutant, and the new active line Tailor is actually a good midrange disc.
Nice to see the Instinct and Essence at the top. If they were any lower, I might have unsubscribed.

Beat up tactics are money as shorter midranges rather then a approach disc, Senseis beat in to fast and can become unpredictable.

FD should have been S tier for sure. Also you didnt even mention md3 like wtf lol? :D
Did I miss the DD1 Stratosphere? Or is that too new of a disc?
no love for the fd1?

Those names just sound way to rediculous for me to be hyped on trying them out. Maybe some day, but it sounds so cheesy

The Mind Bender version of the MD1 are flippy ones but the mystery box versions are just dead straight
i bought one of the new md1s and it is dead straight, perfect disc for straight wooden holes
@@tinymadness22 yes, they are amazing!
That fd3 take is criminal, way more consistent of a disc than any raptor ive thrown
No mutant? Splice?
No md5? Favorite overstable approach/mid. So good. Low profile, beaded, dependable.
New ones will not be beaded
Boo.
For me Enigma would go to "would throw over water" because it feels too shallow and sharp that digs in my hand .
Discmania has had the most inconsistent lineup of discs and plastics. I bag their old 7/6/-1/1 fd. But yeah they dont even make that now. I guess it is easy to just never but their discs anymore
people always mention the firebird and raptor, but i find the pioneer is my favorite in that slot
Link needs some love!
Everything from the active line, except Sensei and Tailor, belongs in the dog toy category.
Genius is a great fairway for a beginner
5tilt is niche, but i literally bought 2 more right before starting this vid cuz i need my power thumber disc
I've got 2 paradigms and 2 enigmas and the enigmas are the more understable. Might be a fluke but the paradigm is the better disc
I think that you could've added the MD3 and the Splice to the list. 🙂
Hot take but true imo: Sensei > Tactic, Essence > Fd
I agree with everything but the FD. It deserves the Swanky status, right under the essence. I actually bag both. Also, the FD2 is a great disc. Same category as the instinct but a touch more overstable.
Christmas tree?
MD3 is a great mid from them and the c line plastic is $
Love my forged instinct
No FD1? Might be the best fairway ever made by any mfg
Method is money. Aced 3 times in less than 6 months with it
Splice, Mutant, Md3? 🙊
No mutant? Too bad. Good disc
Bru where is the md3 ?????
foot fault
You guys are on drugs the FD is the best disc ever released by Discmania and is one of the best 7 speeds ever designed
FD is their best disc.
Yeah, the FD got snubbed. It's so glidey and and so straight
We will not stand for this Link erasure!
No PD2, Link, or MD5!!! love you guys but y’all are 🦃’s for that
