The video covers the necessary tools and their uses, information from the shop manual, closeups of various hardware, and all of the work from start to finish. This would be very helpful if you have a 1955 or 1956 Ford Sedan/Wagon - two door or four door. It is not for the hardtops, Victorias, or Sunliners.
Excellent video Rev! You are 100% correct at how helpful the shop manual is. I did the passenger front glass in my 4 door and the hardest thing was figuring out how to release those roller clips. (which direction they needed to go) I had combed over your blog a couple times but this video would have been even more helpful too! Excellent job!
I just put up the install video as well... I need a better camera setup to get some closeups. One of these days...
@@HotRodReverend you do pretty good for what you're working with. I still refer guys to your blog, since your writeups and pictures are pretty detailed. But there's something about video that adds a little more. I'll go catch the install video here in a bit. 😁
@@OlysGarage Yep, video is certainly where it is at - nothing like viewing all the moving details and parts and pieces. I need a little more space - kind of cramped right now in a working environment but at least I have a garage in which to work and tinker!

Watching and learning Rev. I worked half a day on removing the exhaust on my 56 Victoria. Had to remove the manifolds to get the down pipes out. The back bolt is a rascal to remove.
You are right about that! I have an old wrench that I ground down the sides of the open end to gain more room... of course the box end is helpful too.
@HotRodReverend Good idea. I will try installing a couple header bolts back there.
