By far the best tutorial! But I think the b7 uses the pinky finger on the high e, so b11 if I'm not mistaken?

@@Lunadelsol personally its how I play it, I'm pretty sure shawn does too. Watch this tutorial but your strumming will change depending which version you're playing with, Shawn's done like 5 different ones!
I have an acoustic but it doesn't sound like that. My strings are tuned to EADGBE what am I doing wrong?

Just practice. I've been playing 6 weeks and I can play this now! Just keep at it, your muscle memory WILL learn it!

@@chancedunn8542 I just used a few starting videos from Andy Guitar to understand reading chords and the bare basics for 2 days(about 1 hr of practice maybe 2)
After that I just started learning songs, chords as I like!(mainly shawn james as theres similarities, but others too)
I think if you just learn doing what you like, but make sure its challenging, you'll enjoy it more&stick to it!
Just make sure you practice every day, or you start taking steps back! Then you get frustrated because you cant do what you previously could.

I know the first bit. Its am then d7 and that pretty much the whole song. On am you play the fourth string then strum down and up really quickly and then slap the thickest string with you thumb then strum up then play fourth string again then strum up again and then slap. (Itll sound better one you know the timing from listening to the song yourself) then move down to d7 and play fourth string then strum up, slap then strum up again while pulling your finger off the second fret of the first string then the fourth string then strum up again and repeat pulling your finger off the first string second fret then repeat the whole thing until it goes to when you pull your finger off the first string and instead do a hammer on from the second fret to the third fret then pluck the third fret then do a pull off from the second fret to zero. I hope that helps a bit if you ever read this

That is a Sigma 000M-15. Last summer, I went looking for the best guitar I could afford without feeling ashamed of myself, and I tried loads of Martins and Taylors and others, but my preferred one was this, fairly cheap, one :)
What about tuning
Is there a name for the tune that your guitar is playing in? I have been tuned my guitar standard but it seems i get a very different sound. If you know the name that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
It's standard, but I think it might help if you tune the guitar after you've placed your capo on the 4th fret. The tuning is then (form high to low) ab, eb, b, gb, db, Ab

Barre chords. G#m (4 6 6 4 4 4) replaces the Em C#m ( X 4 6 6 5 4) replaces the Am and D#7 ( 4 6 5 6 4 4) replaces the B11
