Relax to the sounds of distant war. Deep sounds of bombs shake the area, machine guns fire off in the distance, and fire crackles.

I've gotten so used to fps games that this is the only way I can concentrate
Same here. I don’t know why but I find the distant sounds soothing and calm
Same here
Same here. I use this for the background of FPS gaming because it doesn't have it, and the sense of realism is crazy.
Its so relaxing. Sends warm fuzzy feelings across my mind and body.
You're gonna love El Salvador
"Detroit ambience sound". Love it.
Oh I’ve been there 😳
Close. Having been there, I can assure you there would be no flame sounds as this audio depicts, as any flames will have been stolen to light crack on fire for smoking purposes by the locals.
I can see myself sitting in a filthy, muddy foxhole taking a much-deserved nap after a fight.
Whhhhyyyyy
A dirt nap, perchance?
@@jeffwang6460 I see what you did there!😄
You better be ex. Or you just don't know haha
i wouldnt be able to sleep. what if a guy comes up and stabs me while im taking a nap? this is probably what vets feel like and that shit's horrible.
Mom calls
*takes of ear buds*
Still hears gun shots
I love Chicago
I love it to its so nice when you wake up to constant gun fire
Laughing my ass off!!!
Keep voting Democrat!

My grandpa loved this so much that he fell on the floor and started dancing.
You mean had a vietnam flashback?
@@lolmaster8093 yea Yea the dance with vietkong
He just had a victory royale
I really enjoyed that comment
Ghiula Patrick Razvan that’s the joke
I have readed during ww1, artillery fire could be heread within the distance of 200 kilometers and more. sounded similar to a thunderstorm, but not excatly like a thunderstorm.
Right--it's more like stormthunder.
Its actually referenced in GOYO, a movie about a young filipino general in the ph american war. They thought it was thunder but it's actually battleships I think
Don't quote me on this, but I think the 200km thing was the lochnagar mine on the Somme. That was famously supposed to be heard in London. If you wanted to you could work this out. Study physics!
How about focus more on spelling than reading
@@wyattharlow0921 thats a good idea.
Two reasons you may find this relaxing: first you can hear fighting but no telling, so it's not near you; second your anxiety may be about something totally unrelated to war, so this helps move your head out of that space. Me I like bangs for some reason.
Ambience. A-M-B-I-E-N-C-E. Ambience. Could you use that in a sentence? "It was 80 years ago when Normandy beach was consumed by the ambience of war instead of a soft breeze and the sound of waves breaking on the shore."
UNLESS, it is a play on the sleep aid, Ambian... oh wait. It's spelled Ambien. Nope. You lose.
It was a calm night until my Ssgt yelled get tf up we got tali’s incoming from the north, wall 4 minutes later the only thing you could hear is the ambience of Soviet rifles coming from a small house in the distance And several marines crying and saying kill me
There,do I win?
@@communismsforgays6575Hahahah, give 'im a medal!
Everybody loves PTSD
I would say Vietnam and that there in the trees but looking at the video there are no trees
I always go to bed imagining I found some kind of bunker to hide in and go to sleep whilst the sound of gunfire and bombs rage just outside my shelter. This is a nice soundtrack to help amplify the realism. Kind of weird but it does help me go to sleep pretty quickly, maybe it’s the thought of having only one more nights rest before hell rains down on me either way I know I’m weird
it’s weird i do this too i pretend i’m lost on a cold planet clinging on to the last bit of shelter
night's*
we all do this
For those who say we shouldn't find this relaxing...
It isn't wrong, we don't crave the sound of war or combat. What we crave is the sensation of safety, or being just out of reach from danger. Hearing it in the distance means it's not here. It's cozy, the same feeling you get when you are in your house by a crackling fire while a storm rages outside.
@@darthnox125 that's absolutely wrong, do you know the km of range of mortars and missiles?
I’m getting 2nd hand flashbacks from my great grandpas ghost rn
Im getting second hand flashbacks from vietnam ghosts soldiers they said that heavy artilliry is b52s
I find this strangely comforting.
Don’t worry lads, we’ll be home by Christmas
Captain I just got order from headquarters and they said we are the last on the defense on the line and others are retreating and reinforcements are on their way but that in three days or weeks and I just checked we are running out of ammunition and food sir what should we do sir should we fall back to because enemies are heading towards our way
Man, this really captures the essence of downtown LA at 2 in the morning perfectly.
Who needs lullabies when you‘ve got this?
*Plugs earphones to babies*
Baby: *sleeps*
Me: YES
Lmao😂 I'll listen to this every night
i took off my headphones, but i could still hear it
See you on the frontlines space cowboy
got some news for you then....
This is very pleasing to the ears.
_"its been 2 years since the boys say we gonna make it..im still at this war,boyss..come,help me"_
Cant sleep with silence.. the sounds of distant fighting is calming though. Helps me forget the real shit. War is hell
😂😂😂
People are laughing and making meme/jokes, but don't understand finding the calm of the uncanned violence that we have been through ...hoo rah
Listening to this while in a school library, video starts buffering
_Still hear gunshots in background_
nothing like falling asleep to this and waking up shellshocked
oh Arthur
I BROKE THE GODDAMN WHEEL
This is like ASMR to me, it reminds me of my childhood nights in downtown Detroit.
This goes really well with my napalm scented candle, thanks
Get some rest boys. We’re moving out in an hour.
Captain: deny headquarters want us to stay here on the line other's starting to retreat Germans are coming our way I guess this is our last line of defense
Gramps loved this so much he started staring at the wall and speaking Spanish
I showed this to my grandpa, he got so exited and happy he put his and on his heart and was gasping for air. Now he's taking a nap
I use this audio for my cosplays it gets me in the mood when i gear up into my halo reach Spartan suit
I love this *natural ambience* video, reminds me to the good old Detroit city I've never lived in.
This is fantastic. Thanks for this!
One of my family members is a war veteran with PTSD, I played this while he was around and he just stared at the last direction he was looking at and his eyelids we're wide open.
Lol that's effed up why would you do that?! 😭🤣
@@hujajiblamble3337 Cause the new generation is fucked. No respect for the elderly.
What my grandmother heard every night in Saigon in 1968. Constant gunfire and artillery by Vietcong and American forces.
Was because of the viet cong and nva and fire missions by the usa air strikes it goes on
Imagine camping in the woods and hearing this.
I would record it.
I would start screaming “O la vittoria o tutti accoppati!” Charging whit bayonets the first human being that comes in front of me
@@lavatriceposch8690 lol
when you take off the headphones and still hear gunshots, ahhh, viva méxico.
Why is it that I can fall asleep in no time with this but normal silence not happening
Tbh this helps you sleep more better
this is oddly comforting
Am i messed up for actually falling asleep to this?
No I injoy this as well
Ive been listening to this for almost 2 weeks to fall asleep to, this map is by far my favorite map in BF1 inoperations. Fighting for the last objectives both attacking and defending is god tier
I didn’t intend for this to be related to the game but I’m glad you like it nonetheless.
@@AmbianceMagic sounds like its either before the game starts or afterwords as the german army marches on fort de vough
It actually sounds satisfying to listen to this despite warfare being brutal.
Why is this relaxing
Why isn’t it relaxing
Because some people just can't miss the sounds of gunfire in the background. When they're at war, camping.
maybe because it conveys the feelings of small comfort after a fight or tiring march.
"Cigarette anyone?"
``Don't mind if I do``
As a guy who lives 3km from the largest military garrison in the country, this is what can usually be heard when going to bed.
Pulled this up after 3 days of non-stop fireworks near my house, Honestly no difference.
The bombing sounds like a wholly mammoth foot stomps
This is so calming wow
Wow... !!! My best friend, You Great Good... !!! I wish you every day of your development. Best Relaxing +thumb up3!
this is battlefield asmr
You know you've got weird taste in sounds to sleep when this is recommended to you and you still like it
Wow my grandad is so relaxed by this he is not breathing and he’s holding his heart how lovely!
Chicago seems so peaceful tonight.
"It's a Boy!"
Oh my word 😂😂
lmao
The gunshots sound like a woodpecker
This sounds so weird but I want heavy bombing sounds for sleeping
In my opinion, only a maniac would listens to war sound effects to sleep
If things continue to go down the shitter at the rate they are we are gonna be hearing plenty of this here in a few months
The sounds of freedom with the crackling of the fire. Oh I love the sounds of freedom.
I don't know why, but listening to this helps me study. Maybe give it a try sometime.
I feel like I'm there everytime I listen
present me: ah yes, music to my ears, i will have fun studying
20 years later listening to this after retiring from us navy seal: WHQT FTHRE FUCK, GET DOWN, TAKE COVER **starts dancing on the floor**
Ahhhhh, alas good old memoirs from Camden , New Jersey
Play it on 2X the fire sounds like soldiers scared and breating heavily
They're in the trees
There are no trees, everything has been blown to pieces
*confused screaming*
Uhhh.. My dad has his rifle ou- AHHHHH *takes headphones off* Still hears machine gun fire*
It would be great if you make such a sound video with "winter sounds", you know the silence of an winter Forrest, little bit! of cold wind if you know what I mean, thx if this would be true😉
It's that Atlanta ambience
Played this to my grandpa and he loved it so much, he thought there were lyrics and he kept saying "Die Franzosen sind zurück! Die Franzosen sind zurück!
". Silly Grandpa. There are no lyrics!
i was listening to this while camping and took of my headphones
could still hear gunshots
welcome to kentucky
...it's deeply odd that I find this soothing. I feel somewhat conflicted....
i love playing this video and wren's lullaby on repeat....it's just amazing ^^
I'm getting my great grandfather's flashbacks from this
*Me waiting for a tank to get in instead of rushing by feet:*
I want to join the army, and this just is why I know war is horrible but to it are some beautiful things. I think it's the comfort of being far from the fight that says you're safe to the brain
I listen to this while studying and its helpful
Finally something I can pretend to be dead to
So relaxing that my dad grabbed his rifle and ran off into the woods!
A rages on in the rest of the world and out here
there is still some battling going on off in the distance
however we are here keeping guard on the weaponry,
ammo, food and other supplies and make sure that the
enemy doesn't come this way and so far they haven't
and we feel like we are not doing our part in the battle
but the General told us on the radio that we are doing our
part guarding the supply compound and keep it out of
enemy hands, we received word from the General that
we are winning and that we still have a way to go but
the enemy seems to be staying on their side and hope
that they will keep doing so,
there are ten of us here either underground in the supply
bunker or up above patrolling the perimeter of the compound,
we've been here for a year so far and we'll be here as long as
we have to be the rest of the world is slowly getting back in order
it's just this part of the country that needs defending and since we
are winning maybe it will be over soon,
we received word from the General this morning and they have turned back
the enemy most are either dead, injured or in our prison and we will be sending
a convoy to pack up things there and we will be back in our homes with our families,
well the convoy has gotten here and we are almost finished packing up everything and
we will be leaving soon, in one way I'll be glad to get away from here but in another way
I'll miss the others but I will be glad to be back with my family as the others with theirs,
I hope no more wars pop up because I just want to get on my life,
well good night and God Bless.-1st Sergeant C.L. Slattery,Military Policeman,S Division.
Actually I only put it on because of prowlers in the residential home. I have never been in the army myself but have full admiration for the bravery of those that have.
how soothing
*Oh, him? Yeah, I know him. It's going to take a while. It happened years ago. Did you know... there are three kind of aces? Those who seek strength, those who live for pride, and those who can read the tide of battle. Those are the three. And him... he was a true ace.*
He was a fighter pilot they called "Solo Wing Pixy". He was a colleague of the man i seek.
10 years ago, there was a war that engulfed the world. The Belkan war. And in that war was a pilot who trailed across the sky, and disappeared from history. He was a lone mercenary who inspired both fear and admiration. He is the man i seek.
And so... With the words of "Solo Wing," the curtain rises.
*It was a cold and snowy day.*
I love this. It is relaxing to listen to. plus, I am doing a paper on War, so it is brilliant.
Like they always say war never changes
Its nice and calm
*Finally, some good noise for my Enhanced Tabi FNF mod.*
fields of verdun there is nowhere to run
This sound hella relaxing
this is what i fall asleep to at night.
The rat-tat-tat of an MG08..
The old sound of games before they added vehicles and futuristic weapons or bombs. Running around on a map with maybe 11 other players instead of 99.
This sounds like my arse 2 hours after eating a doner kebab with chilli sauce.
Only in America or somebody's demented mind, I LIKE IT!!!!
This really helps with my anxiety
Love falling asleep to this 🥰
bruh I listen to this with minecraft music or any other soothing music and it feels surreal
Very relaxing
everybody stay safe out there, and enjoy some distant battlefield sounds i guess :>
i wonder what the actual distance to the fight would be to still hear it that clearly.
why am i sleeping with this video lol
war. so natural
Boy do I love the sounds of people dieing in the distance.
hey.. so i love this mix. its perfect exept 4the fire. i love it with the fire, but it doesnt quite work for my purpose. if you still have the original unjoined save, i would ask you to recompile it wout the fire for me. if ud be willing.
I'm really sorry, I didn't save the unedited version.
