But at 2:50 when her face changes to the sadistic smile it looks as though the monster is trying to pull away from her while she hold it's arms tightly. Nothing changed about the image except the face and the colors... but in that split second the victim became the monster and the monster became the victim.

There's an ascii style smily face and frowny face, and both the original and inverted image have them, but it sometimes changes as to which is the smiley and which is the frowny. At the end it also rapidly switches back and forth without inverting at all. It's interesting for sure, still thinking about what it might mean.

This song was the one that made me realize I enjoy music... and for years and years i listened and enjoyed. But only recently did I understand why i had such a connection to it. My entire life i have struggled with ADD (as well as a form of epilepsy) and it felt like i fell asleep when i was about 8 and never properly woke up. My entire life (22 now) i have lived in a fog, where everything has been shades of black and white (sound familiar?). I only realized what most of my issues were this past year, and about 6 months ago I realized why I always connected to this song so well. It is the story of my life. Thankfully im getting better, taking meds for the ADD, and now im slowly, bit by bit, seeing colour in the world again. If you feel a similar connection to this song, know that you arent alone. Know that there is a brighter future ahead. Know that there is a way out of that hellscape. I may still be on my journey to becoming whole, but the path is there. Good luck. I get your views I understand what you say about the original song and this Cover. The Origional conveyed a haunting sense of isolation and outwardly view. Like a Picture looking into the real world not understanding what's going on. The song was slower and had less rhythmic impact to give you that sense of fear. This Cover has a very fast pace hyper rhythm, when I listen to it I get a sense of panic as if the world is moving so fast that your lost and unable to adapt fast enough to be the same. You in a sense become an Echo of those around you as you try to catch up to them. Both have different vibes but ultimately they both portray something about people in the world. BTW this is one of my top 5 favorite Covers.

Ok so one of the things I love about Echo is how haunting it is... And I don't feel that haunting quality in your cover.
..That said, that's the beauty of a cover... It doesn't have to match the original. .So even though I don't like it as much, I still acknowledge it as amazing.... And that is why you earned a new subscriber. >w< Because I do love covers... And you've got a great voice and talent.

That said, I still want to reiterate that I do love this remix. :3
I get your views I understand what you say about the original song and this Cover. The Origional conveyed a haunting sense of isolation and outwardly view. Like a Picture looking into the real world not understanding what's going on. The song was slower and had less rhythmic impact to give you that sense of fear.
This Cover has a very fast pace hyper rhythm, when I listen to it I get a sense of panic as if the world is moving so fast that your lost and unable to adapt fast enough to be the same. You in a sense become an Echo of those around you as you try to catch up to them.
Both have different vibes but ultimately they both portray something about people in the world. BTW this is one of my top 5 favorite Covers.

But; oh my goodness this song hits deep. It is a good song for many people with depression and or self esteem issues etc. Since it does give some realization on they're main opponent. Theirselves this song honestly made me cry a bit.
