Follow as I restore an Asian Washburn Lyon Strat copy project electric guitar from the 1980s (maybe 1990). Part one in the series is a full disassembly and cleaning of the instrument. This series includes five videos.

This is great! I've had a Lyon I bought as my first guitar in 1992. It has since fallen into disrepair and I've been wanting to restore it for quite some time!
It’s a better guitar than people give it credit for. Probably built by Samick.
The way you talked down the quality of the guitar made watching this painful. Just burn it if its that bad. You could have at least been hopeful
Samick guitars have good bones, but the hardware and electronics are what they are.
