- Heated arguments erupted in the Upper House after Leader of Opposition of Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge expressed his dissatisfaction on the budget released by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman yesterday, saying that the budget favors just 2 states and discriminates others. Mr. Kharge also said that the budget was to “save the chair” and called for protest, not much later when the Finance Minister started to speak, the opposition staged a walk-out from the Rajya Sabha.

Good budget Amravati AP and Bihar each state get estimate Rs 150000 crore fund for development and supporting BJP government. Where as other state in south such as Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry, Goa no fund allocated by the government for the development. instead we should demand separate country for the south India relying on them for the development fund.if Nirmala sithraman allocated budget for other state such as Delhi, Kerala we would have accepted. entire India citizen know this budget favour of forming the government becoz of Amravati and Bihar thay reason they are allocating funds for them

An unbiased and impartial citizen might ask as to what was the compulsion behind the privileged treatment being awarded to the two States of Andhra and Bihar. It appears highly unlikely that either the JD(U) or the TDP will dare to withdraw their support to the NDA and allow the elected dispensation to fall. Nobody wants a mid-term election and the fact that in a house of 543, the numerical strength of BJP is 240. It sounds almost impossible that the remaining 303 members will get together to keep the BJP out. So both the States should have been given some preferential treatment but instead it has been taken to the extreme.
