When I was in the navy back in the 90's I had the pleasure of being here for almost 3 weeks ... Only one word I would like to call Isreal ... Home !! I truly loved it there and the history and the beaches !! The people were very nice a culture I fell in love with . Did I mention the food ?? I would love to live there for the rest of my days .. Thanks for sharing !
Giovanni Berardinelli Hi ' Many people write that they love or like Israel and or Tel Aviv, but what you wrote is really exiting since you felt at home. many people critisize Israel for reasons they even do not know, but we Israelis have a special thing about foreigners feeling at home, what you wrote makes an Israeli feel we have done a good job and are proud to be Israeli, nevertheless Israel and Tel Aviv changed and become much more modern then the 90 s (i hope for good reasons). I have been 3 times to Italy (you are Italian ?) and indeed its also a very special country, in some places in Italy (firenze and small villages in tuscany) i also felt at home thank you.

I wouldn't discuss those horrific times in detail as I do not want to remind people of Israel of those years. I have this solidarity for Israel when I was in high School. The world have a lot to learn from people of Israel - how to work hard, how to make optimum use of limited resources, how to defend your country despite being surrounded by hostile countries. This is reminding me of jeddah so much. Those palm trees, quite environment even in the day , wide spacey main roads and small quite inner roads , colorful and decorated shops , that wide sidewalk... Ah just too many memories. I would love to visit israel btw and the night view was breathtaking.... so quite and peaceful :-) just like jeddah.

Great video - just as a person would see when they go walking. The miracle is that this was just a godforsaken strip of dirt that nobody lived on less than 100 years ago and now look at it. No wonder your "friendly" neighbors are jealous. Hard work and sweat and Jewish pride built this city and we are all immensely proud of your accomplishments. We can't wait till we again visit there.

Tel Aviv is a beautiful city. it's a bit congested (like NYC) and parking is very expensive. some parts resemble Europe and the Center of Tel Aviv look like any major city in the US.
