This is amazing to watch for someone from Sydney Australia! Such a picturesque town, it looks exactly what I think of when I imagine a small town in the USA at Christmas. I expected women dressed in winter Victorian clothing with big fur muffs and men in top hats to come stepping out of the buildings. I’m 65. I have only ever seen snow once in my life, at the Grand Canyon. Thanks you for your video, it was like I was actually walking there. Merry Christmas. 👋🏻🇦🇺

I woke up at 2am and found this on to hopefully relax me back to sleep. I’m so mesmerized. It’s so beautiful and quaint. I’m going to close my eyes and dream of this idyllic place being my home and my life.

I'm from Spain. I do love Vermont and Woodstock particulary. I has been in Woodstock a long time ago. It was in fall season I was there five years ago and since then I've wanted to go back. Some day I'll go and I'll stay forever.

Simply stunning. The ambiance & peacefulness of this Christmas season winter walk at once transports the viewer to heavenly frozen landscapes that an artist's paint, or words cannot capture. The unseen rapping of the snowflakes wafting from the clouds in their purposeful, steady descent downward to knock on the umbrella is other worldly. The gentle crunching of the traveler's feet as he wends his way through the illuminated, soft, powdery snow blanketing the earth is the perfect "Winter Wonderland." That walk was very good it was pleasant the snow was falling gently and the peace and serenity of the neighborhood just get you in the mood for relaxing with a nice cup of hot chocolate when you get home. Really relieves anxiety.

Woodstock at Christmas is beautiful! Only thing you hear is the crunching of your feet on the snow like your there love it. They really fix the Woodstock Inn up at Christmas its the most charming town ever! If your into architecture this town is amazing. Notice no power lines there all buried becasue that's the way Rockefeller wanted it to make it more beautiful. Glad he did. Great video thanks!!

Thank you for sharing your nighttime stroll through the lovely town of Woodstock, Vermont. I loved peeking in the lighted shop windows that were decorated for Christmas, and I also loved the unexpected view of the charming covered bridge (and the sound of the stream when you walked down the stairs by the overpass). Thank you for occasionally panning the camera so we could experience the beautiful view from different angles. It was charming to see the courthouse. The soft wet snow made everything spectacularly beautiful! I wish I had walked beside you! Thanks again.

I keep watching your videos and I still wish you would pan around a bit. Some of the shop windows decorated for the season would be nice to see. I always loved walking through town at night at all times of the year but with the snow it's particularly nice. Thanks.

This reminds me of when I was a teenager walking home at night after a movie, or a dance or school basketball game. I love the feeling of peacefulness that comes with fresh snow, but I always hated that crunchy sound that a certain type of snow makes. Love the video though!

Wow, I wish we could be there in the winter!! We drove though Woodstock, VT in the summer 2015, we are from Illinois, and it was beautiful!! As we were told at a previous stop on our journey, be careful of your speed in Woodstock as the cops are real sticklers! Well, wouldn't ya know it, one followed us all the way through town! I made sure I wasn't even one mph over 25!! 😂 Funny I see in the video, looks like a parked car being ticketed for being on the street with more than a couple inches of snow!! This was a perfect video to watch on New Year's Eve, thank you so much for posting this from a beautiful little town!!
