6:40 into the video, the architecture becomes beautifully seductive. I agree it's quite calming.i think it's also the absence of trees and hedges. WOW, 1:40:30 where are the vehicles. So different from any city scapes I've seen. Yet it's relaxing.

Fun fact: You can catch a brief glimpse of Porvoo in the 1997 film 'The Jackal'.

@@luisgonzalezalvarez1596 Yes, winter extends throughout Finland, but due to the influence of the Gulf of Finland, temperatures are usually warmer in the southern regions, but can feel colder due to the wind.
In the south the snow will melt occasionally, while in the north it will remain permanently until spring.
Thank you for these wonderful walks!! The city/communities are so beautiful, clean, and organized. Wish I could actually visit but this seems to be the next best thing...Finland is a bit far for this old Texan🤠... keep up the great work!

I LOVE SNOWFALL most of all!! Will you please also consider doing still frame images of some of these scenes/ locations, with just where it is still and can observe the snow falling? Especially on one of your previous videos where you show old road of porvoo , Finland?!! It is such beautiful night snow falling with buildings that for me, Give such nostalgic feeling when I see them, as if walking within each scene & upon just seeing overview of some of these beautiful places., If you could make a few snowfall videos where each image is looped for however long , it would be a wonderful addition to these already gorgeous snow fall videos.. I listen to sounds of snowfall each night to sleep and struggle to always find authentic sound of the snow or even when I may find that, the video itself will not quite contain the vibe I would like to see captured.. Any of these lovely snowfall videos ( especially from night time pov) would make lovely Still image to just enjoy and listen to sounds of the beautiful frozen frigid crystallized particulate that makes winter time so beautifully whimsical and special !! I hope you will consider that option in addition to these wonderful perspectives you’ve created so nicely! For me, I enjoy seeing these scenes, walking through each one. But for Sleep each night. I would definitely love to enjoy just looped sounds and lovely still footage fixated on one scene for several hours.. would additionally make for more lovely videos for many who enjoy to play as they drift off to sleep. That's right, Helsinki is a capital, but it is not as busy as the more southern capitals. This is also recorded during the night hours when most people are sleeping.

I'm watching in 4K but don't see a difference between 4K and 1080p, do I need a 4K monitor? Because I have a 1080p monitor.

If you watch from a 1080P monitor you won't see much difference, although the 4K version should be a tiny bit better.
If your internet connection is fast, you can simply select 4K even if your screen resolution is not.

Good morning Jerry, no there is no snow all year round, winter is usually from November to April.
Finland too has 4 seasons :) Some winters there is hardly any snown in Helsinki, which I dont like at all. Snow brings light when the days are short.
