Came across an interesting g reboot issue recently. My daughter’s laptop kept rebooting. She took it to repair shop. They charged her $100 and told her it was fine. It was driving her nuts.
Then she realized that her Apple Watch was triggering the magnet that tells the laptop that it has been closed and should shut down or at least go to sleep after a few minutes, hence a black screen with no warning. Took off Apple Watch, problem solved. Thought you might find this amusing.

If the smoke gets out, it stops working.

Most people would suggest finding a help desk job and start from there.

@@pubgforlife9899 Stack up some certifications and build home labs. So you can ultimately put that on your resume. This is what I'm currently doing on top of a degree.

In my experience, f8 doesn't boot windows 10 into safe mode. When I restart, I hold down the shift key. It will take me to a troubleshooting area. Is there something I am missing?

F8 its for Windows 7 only...to activate that to work in Windows 10 you have to execute a cmd command.
