I love how I started out this video readying my pitchfork and fire stick and it ended up with you pretty much just giving wholesome feedback and great reviews for small businesses.
It’s very rare for people to actually copy somebody else’s idea because unless it’s astronomically unique, a lot of people have pretty much a lot of the same ideas and or concepts! Those with graphic design backgrounds may have an edge up or those who use professional printers, will also have a quality leg up on those who don’t use quality professional shops, which do cost more in the end out of your budget! I love the fact how you put a spin on this, and actually flip this into a positive spin on supporting other shops! Everybody’s work is going to be different and even if it looks similar that doesn’t mean someone copied someone else’s work that is absolutely correct. I got really pissed off when my 26 envelope scratcher was taken down because somebody reported it and said that I had copied someone else, which I did not do, and never would have! I thought the claim, and one in my scratcher was put back up! But like I said, there’s so many variations of different things put out that nine times out of 10. It’s just a different variation! You did amazing in this video Ira absolutely love it. 6:33 6:36

If people are coming from a genuine place of looking out for you it's very sweet, but a great deal of these are a stretch. "It's purple and a scratch off. Totally copying you." HUH? 😂
I love that you're such a good sport about this stuff and even express that even at the most similar, every shop has their own twist that makes it their own. Most shops are inspired by others and people can come up with similar concepts individually without having seen the other; there's always going to be overlap. 💩

This is such a good idea! I love how open minded and optimistic you were when looking at what some people said were copies. I think it’s very mature of you to not be offended by those shops, but support those shops in saying your honest reviews on their products! 💩

You're such a class act! Some people really were reaching, and some of them actually do look very similar. Specially the infinity challenge which was undoubtely made famous by yours originally, some were simply stunning like the tarot card one wow. But you were so sweet with them all props Ira!
This was quite interesting. Firstly the people trying to start drama need to just get a grip..
Second you're so kind in the gentle critiques of each store. But if i was the person who made the scratch off in the beginning, I'd be mortified. Because you said you'd nothing kind to say, so I wouldn't know how to improve, compared to the Australian flag one which you said exactly what was needed to improve it.
But still fun to see people take similar challenges and make them their own 💩

i've come to terms with the theft, its just going to happen. I've taken to finding it quite flattering, but it has all been small shops. You're correct however, if a big outfit took one of my challenges, I would absolutely lose my sh!t. As long as people are saving money and changing habits, becoming better versions of themselves, then it's all okay really. 💩💜💩 Loved the reviews!

I have made stuff that looked similar and then found out way later! Not one purpose in all honesty I don’t know every shop. However I had one lady copy my stuff word for word! That kinda upset me but my husband said “welcome to a trend on the internet”

The idea that someone could "copy" you is rather absurd, as it is the process that you show for free. Therefore, people will 'copy' your method. Unless you copyright or trademark your process, you have made it public.

Listen. I worked for a company that was copied by a larger company- if you get copied you will feel it feel it in your bottom line.
💩 ❤ I’m a full time artist and I’ve gotten a fair number of “tip off” messages in my career about people “copying” me. So many of them turn out to be nothing-just doing a similar concept to something I’ve done but don’t own. It’s still nice to know that people are looking out for you and your biz tho, eh? I loved this video and seeing all the fun stuff others are making!

Most budgeting items are doing the same job anyway, you just purchase from whoever’s aesthetic you like the best. 💩
