"Great things will happen if you make employees happy." So much truth in his approach. Anyone who has ever worked in misery knows this. Way too young to pass. 2020 takes another great one. RIP Tony Hsieh.
Tony Hsieh was such an inspiration to many of us in Las Vegas. He encouraged people to look at life and business differently. His presence in Las Vegas has been nothing short of transformative. He will be missed. RIP Tony
Tony, I have only just learnt about you and in that short space of time you have already touched my life just like you have done for so many others, I cannot wait to read your book! RIP brother ❤️🙏
Gallen Hardy nailed it about Corporate America... "...I think ppl are generally afraid to allow employees to be themselves because then they think the power is taken away.' I hope everyone who worked for Tony are better ppl today for this. R.I.P. Tony Hsieh & Barbara Walters.
Maybe someone should come up with an experiment in zapposifying some schools, specially disadvantaged schools, seeing if such a culture can improve student's achievement and intrinsic interest in learning. Which could eventually be put to use in business or more traditional professions, anyway.
My dream is that every human finds a job like working at Zappos work can become a jail if you do not like the boss or job; Tony got it! Material things dont bring happiness is what is happening within and improving other lives if you have the power to do CEOs live and learn stop the ego and live by the heart by treating humans with respect. Tony lived the new Earth where authenticity is the norm.
I wish for that too that human should enjoy their lives while working like working at Zappos work, I have been passing many challenges while working at my work place. we don't laugh , only stressful environment.
How can you tell if a vacuum is Buddhist? It comes with no attachments. Tony was a living Buddha. He effectively detached himself from all things material. In his own words he could lose everything and still be happy. He shaves his head because hair would have to be styled with vanity. There is a universe of knowledge to be learned from his life. He is truly a magnificent being.
Yeah, this video has a whole different meaning now that we found he was struggling with alcohol and drug abuse. Wish he could’ve gotten the help and healing he needed 💔
Did Tony get Barbara Walters hooked on the same illegal drugs that he overdosed on when she interviewed him?...I could see Barbara doing a "whippet" with Tony.😂😂😂😂😂😂
I'm sure he wasn't visiting family and staying in a tenement so how did he die of fire related injuries. Probably discussing what happened with Richard Pryor right now. Don't bother flaming me I'm just channeling your heroes Kimmel, Fallon and Maher.

We've been doing that for over 50 years now. Doesn't work.

I’ve just now seeing this in Nov. 2020 and then I find out he just passed away. God must of wanted him more then we needed him. RIP
"losing everything in delivering happiness is a fun challenge"
Rest In Heaven. You made a great impact on this planet.
Coz a man who could lose everything and be happy wont be able lose everything
He lost everything, including his life, but we won't ever know whether he's still happy.
What a loss to the world. RIP Tony. I just posted a video about him. Hopefully we can all keep his legacy alive. Have fun!
Tremendous loss. RIP, Tony.
To all the present & future CEOs...it IS possible..but are you willing to try it?
RIP 😢 WOW what a business mind
Yeah, this video has a whole different meaning now that we found he was struggling with alcohol and drug abuse. Wish he could’ve gotten the help and healing he needed 💔

Did Tony get Barbara Walters hooked on the same illegal drugs that he overdosed on when she interviewed him?...I could see Barbara doing a "whippet" with Tony.😂😂😂😂😂😂
Not ok. As someone who knew this amazing man as a real person, not an interview, your comment is both hurtful and cruel.
5:58 Damn he had all the cute ladies. RIP
Lord forgive his sins and take him to heaven. RIP
RIP
Jeff Bezos could learn a lot from Hsieh...
