A massive part of it is writing lyrics that work melodically - you have to make sure they have the same number of syllables per line, and rhyme. You also have to consider internal cadence of each lyric - some words just naturally sound better than others and are easier to sing. Plus, as I say in my disclaimer, I don't just generate the song - I do a lot of extra work on top of that to improve on it and get it how I want it to sound.
