    Glad to see you back man. I hope to see more of your content, especially about your Cambridge Experience, how you've changed after going to Cambridge, why you fell out of love in Physics, and also what you learnt after your internship with Ali Abdaal. Regardless of what you post , I'll stick around and watch tbh

Your videos have helped me so much in finally pursuing what I really want to do and not just to do whatever everyone else is doing. Whatever you decide to pursue in these coming years, I wish you all the best. Love from Northern Ireland

    • @mik6189
      @mik6189 10 місяців тому

      @@amirumar3669 Hi
      My 2 main revision methods were: Anki and exam questions/past papers
      Once I had finished learning content from a lesson I would normally make Anki flashcards that same day
      Also that same day I would also look through exam style questions from that topic
      Towards an exam, I would review all of my Anki flashcards from each Module to make sure I knew the content ( Id say blurting is also good to make sure you are confident in all areas)
      As well as that, I integrated doing past papers around 3 to 4 weeks before my exams started and did 1 past paper a day until my exams (e.g Tuesday - Maths, Wednesday - Chemistry Thursday - Physics etc.)
      I'd say the most important thing is to pay 100% attention in classes so then when you do have to revise over a topic you remember it from when you learnt it in lesson
      Also, I reviewed my Anki flashcards everyday so as long as you are staying consistent with your Anki you will be successful insha allah

    omg what u said at 5:07 , it's so interesting to hear the opinion of a Cambridge graduate on the differences between US & UK undergrad studies haha. I'm a year 13 international student applying to universities soon and I'm applying to schools both in the uk and the us. My course for applying to Cambridge would be natsci-physical(as u did). I really loved Cambridge when i visited there during summer. Natsci would also be (to my understanding), the most flexible science course u can get in the uk. But at the same time, I really enjoy literature, psychology and history, did lots of supercurricular in those as well. So if i end up in the us, i can get a taste of all of them and even minor in, for example, comparative literature, on top of my STEM major. This is something that uk unis probably won't be able to offer me. So at the moment, I'm really struggling to decide whether I would give up the opportunity of applying with early decision (which has a binding nature if u get in) for the slim possibilities of getting into Cambridge.

    Could you create videos about basics to app development as a complete beginner? Or what are the most important things you've learnt through app development :)

    • @RAmjad
      @RAmjad  10 місяців тому +1

      Hm! I think there are a lot of folks who’d do a better job than me. I would recommend learning React Native with Expo - it’s the easiest way I found to develop apps. But I’ve really enjoyed it. I think I enjoying developing apps in general because you can write a few lines of code and see the app instantly update (compared to say spending a day in a physics lab and seeing no results). Also, when you share it then people all around the world can use it within minutes which is still crazy when I think about it!

    Hey Ray, I started a levels and am doing further maths. In your opinion is further maths advantages when applying to Cambridge for medicine, and would you say its a contributing reason for why you got in.

    • @RAmjad
      @RAmjad  9 місяців тому

      Hey! I think applying for medicine is a little different. From what I heard from medic friends, many universities don't see maths and further maths as two separate A-levels but instead as one subject. Some chose to drop further maths for another science instead.
      But I'd recommend asking some of the current Cambridge undergrad medic UA-camrs like Rosia Li. They may have a better answer :)

      Hey, it’s the Dell 24 Monitor | S2421HN - 60.45cm(23.8")
      I bought 4 of them because it’s cheap but still sturdy. The colours are okay so definitely for anyone doing professional colour work. But I mostly code so it’s fine for me :)
      Once every couple months, the screen does have some residual but you just go to settings and turn on LCD Conditioning, let it run for an hour and it fixes itself again

    Hello Ray. I'm starting Year 11 now, and im applying to A level. I want to pursue physics for uni and career, as i am very passionate for the subject. I want to do everything i can to get into Oxbridge for physics. However, i have an inability to like chemistry. I easily get 9s but that's just because i revise, without passion. Im applying for: Math, Further math, Physics, and Biology for A levels. Do you think OXBRIDGE would need me to take chemistry (as i am aware chemistry is a big part in physics), or are my choices well enough?
    Thanks!!

    • @RAmjad
      @RAmjad  9 місяців тому

      Hey! I think that's okay, the general recommendation I heard before applying was to do at least 2 sciences (of Chemistry, Biology, and Physics -- maybe they count Computer Science too these days?) and maths (and further maths if you can).
      But I found A-level Chemistry to be more interesting than GCSE Chemistry so I'd suggest not ruling it out completely just yet. Personally, I really disliked writing essays (as you have to do in A-level Biology) so picked A-level Chemistry as I knew I needed 2 sciences.

      You’re right, I’ve heard a level chemistry was lots of fun from many students, but I just can’t get myself to learn about hydrocarbons when I am more focused on energy transfers in physics, and the transfer of electrical impulses. I most likely won’t do chem, but I won’t rule it out!
