Seriously people need to move on from U&D or Ah Yeah, but the thing is when something went viral, it's gonna take time to get out of its shadow, like how Psy and Gangnam style has been too well-known and when Gentleman came out people got disappointed. It's the same for EXID, they need to get a strong base and the uniqueness in their music in order to get people remember them. I'm sure they will try different concept in the future, but if people didn't really notice, they already tried several concepts before like hiphop and r&b-ish (Whoz Dat Girl and Every Night), yet they have to wait until U&D and suddenly gain the popularity they deserved.

U&D and Every Night are both good songs (I like Todak Todak too) but they were ignored by the public when first released. All the good things about EXID members were found after they become famous. It was so sad when I think about their living without salary for 12 months in 2013. However, good is not enough. EXID needs to build their own style and understand their strength and weakness. Ah Yeah was coming out at the right timing and now Hot Pink might (or might not) let them slow down a bit. A strong base and the uniqueness in their music is very important.

As in the chorus is sung at the start, then Hani sings, then LE raps, and then it's Hyelin leading up to the chorus, and then Solji singing the high notes of the chorus, then Junghwa is last, or sometimes Hyelin and Junghwa switch.. Idk about everyone else, but this sounds very similar to Ah Yeah.

I don't mind that EXID is clearly doing what's been working for them with the way the song is written (funky/hip kinda verses then the main vocalists take over for the choruses much like with U & D and Ah Yeah) but idk about the concept and the song itself. I don't mind that EXID is clearly doing what's been working for them with the way the song is written (funky/hip kinda verses then the main vocalists take over for the choruses much like with U & D and Ah Yeah) but idk about the concept and the song itself. It makes me wonder what other songs were candidates for this comeback, because I can't help but feel like there had to be much better options.
