Boldness in design can be frightening to executives but if you do your homework you payoff is the best car of the year. Toyota should be concerned. Great video Charlie.
I own a 2017 Cadenza, and it's absolutely fantastic! I'm very happy with the car, especially for its price considering how nice it looks and the features it has. And this facelift really takes the 2017 design and pushes it to another level! It's a very beautiful update. Korean cars are where it's at right now, JD Power ranked Genesis, Kia, and Hyundai as the top 3 most reliable brands of 2019 which is fantastic
I really appreciate the new grill design and i think it looks aggressive and sporty. Finally kia and Hyundai are being bold about their vehicle design and this is lovely 😋
I can't wait for the full review Charlie! Thanks. I love the visual changes they made to this car. But I'm disappointed with the engine options we have in Korea. A car in this class MUST have more power. I'd be surprised if they go to the US with this lineup.
Greeting from Australia.Thank you Charlie, first class presentation as always. I would have to say it's the best looking Kia to date. Love the new frontal look, and the rear styling incorporating the LED lamps is genius, as they actually assimilate with it. Looking forward to an in depth review from you later. Cheers...
I am surprised about the power and torque of the V6 engine. It seems that the output is an engine generation behind. The magical number now for full size premium class seems to be 300hp. The rear design with all the horizontal lines seems to be too tall.
I think that the engine is still plenty competitive, the new 2020 Subaru Legacy is a 260HP turbo. 200-300 seems to be the sweet spot for most vehicles anyways
Well, US version would be similar in size and would start to be exported around sometime early next year. no words about all wheel drive though. thank you.
Thanks for another great review! Just a suggestion, to measure the interior noise, maybe consider getting a decimal meter and showcase it during your review to share with your viewers. That way we can know how the noise level compares to other models.
Really like the design of this REFRESHED Cadenza both inside & out, maybe a little more than Azera, but it's really splitting hairs at this point. I would be happy owning this handsome vehicle, or Hundai Azera, more so than anything currently coming out of Japan. The reason being I believe Kia's/Hyundai's quality is better in all areas, they have better features, better warranties overall, and are better value's IMO!!!!!
Wow! Very nice. See that it has K7 on the back. I recently purchased a Kia Cerato GT and decided to take the “Cerato” badge off the back and replaced it with a “K3” badge. Does that badge change make sense? Thanks
Love the initial review Charlie! Can't wait until you get a tester and really put her through her paces! Haha!!! Looks very well built with a super comfortable interior... the HP output is great for 3.0 liters!
Love the car but Seriously why the turn signal in the back is not LED? This is so stupid decision they made. And is all wheel drive, front wheel or rear wheel drive?
Asian Petrolhead if the Cadenza came to markets like India, it will give a very tough competition to the Skoda Superb. But I am surprised about the 3.0L V6 produces 266 HP while the outgoing 2nd generation (pre-facelift) model in North America has a 3.3L V6 produces 290 HP. And when will this facelift be released in United States and other markets? But still, I like Kia a lot, especially this Cadenza/K7 and the K900/K9 and the rest of their lineup. Luxury at affordable prices (like giving heated and cooled seats in the Forte EX, a compact sedan sold in North America (sold as the Cerato in other parts of the world)).
Just curious... if you have choice between a high spec Kia K5 or a low spec Kia K7 which would you choose?... or would you wait for the Kia k5 gt?... Love your review style...

This car looks mature and handsome perfect for middle age person to ride around. If it can get AWD this would sell well since many areas around the world are having problems with weathers. It's only thing prevents many people from owning sedans. Most Korean sedans except for luxury models don't have AWD. Japanese cars started to offer AWD on most of their models and it's big advantage in market shares.
Mr. Charlie, do you know if the U.S. market will still get the 3.3L V6, instead of those smaller engines? The Avalon is still using a 300 HP 3.5L V6 and I'm worried that the 3.0L V6 is immediately going to put the Cadenza at a major power disadvantage...
No words about engine choices for US. I just asked representatives from Kia and they are still sorting things about for the US and international markets. And he said it would be started to be shipped around early or mid of next year. thank you.
@@AsianPetrolhead I see. So there is still a lot of time between now and the actual shipping date to the US. Which means a lot could still change. Thanks for the reviews. You're always the first to report about KIA and Hyundai to the American audience.

Hello again, is it possible to buy a car in Korea and send it to the US? The reason for the question is because I went to Kia today and asked them about the Kia Cadenza K7 Premier 2020, and they told me that if they are going to have it but maybe it is not with the name Cadenza K7 I think he said K5, and I'm sure It will be different from the inside of the car, which you are showing in the video. Charlie ... since you are much more knowledgeable about the details, could you help me out. I can’t decide between the new K900 and Cadenza. What, in your opinion are the major differences? Worth the splurge?
Well, Rob. To make it simple, if you want rear wheel drive larger sedan then go with K900. But if you want more affortable front wheel drive, then go with Cadenza.
I feel like if you’re going to do a V6 then let it rip and don’t detune it! Why dumb down the power just for some mpg? It’s a V6! Let the engine do what it was made to do.
Wow that is good point. But you know Kia’s mission is to sell lots of cars and satify variety of customers. So you know mpg is very important factor nowdays.

Hi, do you know if they sent it to the USA, and if so, when would it arrive? Or maybe I have to go to Korea to bring me one. The design of this car is the best. The Jaguar does not have it, neither does Mercedes, Toyota either, or Honda, or Audi, the only car that could compare it with the Kia Cadenza, it would be the Nissan Maxima 2020. Well it's just my personal opinion. :)

Overall, the new 2020 Kia K7 looks fantastic. However, there are several things Kia needs to change for the US model: the steering wheel, side mirrors, inside door handles, and the wood thing that connects with them as it looks like a fake wallpaper. And I don't understand why Kia doesn't have the built-in rear cup holders like other car manufacturers.
@@michaelgrant5258 I think Kia should replace matte wood with more luxurious materials like kiriko glass (like in Lexus LS) or dark gray metal. It'll match with the stitched leather on door handle.

The new front looks elegant and TBH that tiny 4 cylinder engine is going to struggle with such big car. I'd like to see the diesel performance to see if the lag it's under control. The interior it's a 8/10, I hate digital dash.
And the exterior design also is much better than the Avalon even the material .. K7 is much away better than the Avalon except one thing that I'm a 100% sure of which is the reliability ..
Thanks for review Charlie. It easily is the most perfect interior to me. One thing i dont like about hyundai/kia interior is the back of front seat made by nasty plastics. Hope they can fix it !!!!

@@AsianPetrolhead Very much appreciated! ❤️
이번 k7 진짜 정말 잘나온거 같아요 ㅎ
네 이번에 드디어 정말 잘 나온 것 같습니다. ㅎ
Asian Petrolhead 정말 디자인이 날이갈수록 발전하네요 ㅎ 셀토스도 나오면 영상으로 한번 꼭 다뤄주세여!
The front reminds me of a Masersti Levante.
Yes, vertical design with thick grilles.
I hope this version comes to u.s
I think it will David. They just need time to do prep these guys.
X-lent looking vehicle. Really like the concave style grille......
Wow. concave style grille. I like how it sounds.
I think that the next gen sorento will go of the cadenza’s design
Yes, i think so , too.
The new front looks elegant and TBH that tiny 4 cylinder engine is going to struggle with such big car. I'd like to see the diesel performance to see if the lag it's under control. The interior it's a 8/10, I hate digital dash.
Yes, i will try to show you 2.2 diesel variant as well. thank you.
2020 Kia Cadenza vs 2020 Toyota Avalon?
i prefer interior design of Cadenza
And the exterior design also is much better than the Avalon even the material ..
K7 is much away better than the Avalon except one thing that I'm a 100% sure of which is the reliability ..
@@mohammedhashim5233 Exactly! How many old Kia or Hyundai's do you see? I only see old Honda's, Lexus, and Toyota's.
Waiting for the Kia Seltos too.
Yeah, me, too.
@@AsianPetrolhead your reviews are so much better than the other so-called experts, in detail & precise.
Smartstream G2.5 sounds like a recipe for an engine recall
Well. Hope not. They made it fix old problems.
That grill its got toooo much chrome on it and it looks like its had a front end crash.
Well, not as bad. Hope you take a look at yourself in person.
@Asian Petrolhead please do test drive of 2019/2020 Ssangyong Rexton/Alturas G4/Rexton G4 & 2020 Chevrolet Malibu. Thanx
We will
@@AsianPetrolhead Thanx
The Korean V63.0 has the same Hp and less torque as a Turbo 4cylinder here in America. Come on Kia -.-
Oscar Lopez that shouldn’t be surprising lol
Will it's looks like 🇪🇺 European cars
Yes, they would look very similar i guess. thank you.
Only one word : Amazing 👌
Glad you like it.
Hope optima gets a 8 speed
Well, New Sonata has 6, so i am guess it would have 6, too. But 8 would be great!
Asian Petrolhead That would suck. I also hope optima gets a new platform because the sonata rides smother for some reason
stunning car , with high quality assembly
Yes, like this new interior.
Wow!!! This is going to be my first Luxury Car... Can't wait till it hits the U.S....( Great Review) 👍😀
Thank you Christopher. It will be exported sometime early next year starting with US market. Thank you.
Mixed between Audi and BMW? But it's looking very pretty 👍👍
Yeap, seems like the best one so far

سليمان فهد 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Very beautiful looks more comfortable, waiting for same Tesla technology in south korean cars soon.
thank you. Qaiser.
I'm loving it
Like 2nd generation model... Hope all led 😂... 3ltr better I guess than 2.5l..
Yes, 3.0 is better than 2.5L. More power, smoother, but less efficient & expensive. So choice is yours. thanks
I just Loved this car especially your reviews . Trying to get ready to get my money together to buy one ❤️🤟🏽😂
Thank you Larry!
Thanks for review Charlie. It easily is the most perfect interior to me. One thing i dont like about hyundai/kia interior is the back of front seat made by nasty plastics. Hope they can fix it !!!!
Yes, love the interior.
Very beautiful car.
Glad you like it.
